Pixerius is a family of pixel fonts containing 3 characters in width and 12 styles, from square shapes to very rounded ones. There is also a tracing mixing letters of different widths in a random order. The font is suitable for logos, large headlines, posters and signs. It combines the classic retro character of 8-bit games and the playful character of a random set. Pixerius contains extended Latin, Cyrillic, ligatures and space invaders. It contains OpenType features: liga, numr, dnom, calt, ss01, ss02. The font is also case sensitive, has fractions, currency signs including the ruble sign.

Goudy Two Shoes is a digitization and expansion of a 1970s type called Goudy Fancy, which originated with Lettergraphics as a film type, then was released into the dry transfer (rub-on) arena, where it became really popular. This digital expansion of the original design contains many additional characters, including "plain" variants on the caps, as well as extra alternates and swashes, and even a few curly ornaments. Goudy Two Shoes comes in all popular font formats. The Postscript and True Type versions ship as 2 fonts, while the OpenType version is a single font programmed with features for OT-savvy applications.

The name FeggoliteHatched comes from the fact that it was created with the help of an old font manipulation program called Incubator Pro. It was an attempt to create a more conventional typeface from the odd monospaced font, FeggoliteMono. As a monospaced font, FeggoliteHatched could be considered a typewriter face, but no typewriter ever produced letters like these. The original version from 1994 is now the italic style and it has a leftward or back slant. The upright or plain version was added much later, in 2018. There is also a choppy upright version included in this family.

Linotype Cutter was designed by Georg John in 1997. As the name suggests, the font looks like it was cut out of black cardboard pieces. Each letter has a irregular rectangle black background and they combine to form heavy rows of letter elements. The strong contrasts of the font make it good for short headlines or initials in larger point sizes and combines well with almost any text font. Georg John made a second version of this theme called Linotype Schere (scissors) it is a companion typeface where the conturs of the letters are even rougher in its form.

This is the companion sans family to make the Librum serif families work as well as they do. By companion, I do mean stylistically compatible. But mainly, they have the same vertical metrics. So they work very well for run-in heads, inline character styles, and all the rest of the needs in large books with complex formatting. They are designed for use in InDesign, and they work very well in that environment. The fonts use the same OpenType feature files as the rest of the Librum families. The feature files for the italic and bold are more limited—as I have rarely used things like that [over the past 20+ years]. The character shapes are a bit whimsical. The original ancestor of this book design sans was a very playful font I released as Aerle. It’s been calmed down a lot but is still loose and friendly. Ryo Gothic is a new Japanese sans serif (or gothic) kana typeface design. Created by Adobe type designer Ryoko Nishizuka , the typeface has a bright and speedy calligraphic touch and can be used to compose readable body text, as it gives a calm and well-controlled color to the typeset page. Supplied in OpenType format, each Ryo Gothic font includes hiragana, katakana and some punctuation marks and should be combined with the kanji and other glyphs in existing Japanese gothic typefaces that contain full character sets. This typeface family is available in seven weights--extra light, light, regular, medium, bold, heavy, and ultra heavy--which allow end users to select the best-matching weight for their favorite full-set Japanese gothic typeface. Creative professionals using the Japanese version of Adobe InDesign may use that program's Composite Font tool to easily combine Ryo Gothic with other typefaces.

In the 1960 edition of Samuel Welo’s “Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers” is an example of poster lettering with the accompanying blurb “call this Chrysler”. This casual brushstroke design was slightly modified and then reworked into what is now Show Poster JNL and is now available in both regular and oblique versions.

ITC Forkbeard is the work of British designer Michael Gills and named after a famous Viking warrior. Gills was inspired by the work of Victor Hammer as well as a lesser known uncial style called Andromaque. Distinguishing characteristics of ITC Forkbeard are its geometric overtones and its distinct capital and lower case letterforms.

Inside the pages of an untitled sign painting textbook (circa 1902) was an example of the classic chamfered sans serif alphabets used by tradesmen of the time. This version was wider than most, and perfect for a digital version called Wide Chamfer JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Introducing our new product that called �Balise� A retro sans serif influenced from 60s style typeface and coupled with a touch of rounded corners to provide a playful concept with a vintage design style. Mixed Drinks JNL derives its look from a set of gold foil self-adhesive letters made by a company called Cameo for the Schenley distilling company circa the late 1950s or early 1960s. The letters were used to personalize bottles of whiskey for your own bar or to give as a unique gift.

A slightly offbeat latin typestyle, Screwby started as a digitization of a film typeface called Surf by Lettergraphics. From there, this wonderful typeface was expanded into a giant family of fun widths and weights to play with: from spindly thin and light weights, to chunky bold and blacks. An all-around fantastic treat!

Brush-style lettering has been a perennial favorite for designers and sign painters because it brings to mind casual, relaxed or friendly themes. A vintage piece of sheet music called “Pretty Butterfly” by Sunny Skylar features the titled hand lettered in a simple, informal design which became the inspiration for Casual Tune JNL.

Electrostatic JNL was inspired by the 1930s lettering for radio station WMCA in New York City. It was found as part of an ad for the station in a 1932 radio broadcasting trade magazine. WMCA went on the air Feb. 6, 1925. According to Wikipedia, the "MCA" call letters stood for the Hotel McAlpin, where the station's original studio and transmitter were located. "W" is the call sign prefix for all broadcast stations East of the Mississippi River; with the exception of KDKA (Pittsburgh), which was the nation's first commercial radio station. This bold novelty typeface with lightning bolds intersecting the characters can be used to represent anything from electricity to stormy days; power generators to brute force and so forth. Electrostatic JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

About 7 years ago, I released a beautiful (imho) Art Deco inspired font called Weltschmerz. Weltschmerz was an all-caps font and I always wanted to do a lower case version as well. But as things so often go in life, I never found the time and forgot about it. Some time ago, I ‘rediscovered’ my good old Weltschmerz font and remembered that I wanted to create a lower case version. Without further ado: here is Neuer Weltschmerz (‘New Weltschmerz’). I redid the whole font, better kerning, better spacing, better looks… and with a proper lower case! I did keep the original handwritten look intact - because, well, it IS hand made!

We use an old hand juicer at home: a cheap plastic one that we bought a long time ago at a Swedish home appliances and furniture giant. We haven never considered upgrading to an electronic one, as it still works, it doesn’t use electricity and we don’t really use it that often. This font is called Juicer. It was not named after our manual juicer, or any juicer in particular. It was just a word that seemed to fit the font nicely. Juicer font is a handwritten, script-ish kinda font that comes in two great styles and contains a set of double letter ligatures.

This highly stylish, engraved blackletter font was cut by Rudolf Koch between 1919 and 1921 for Klingspor in Offenbach on Main. It was then sold under the name Deutsche Zierschrift. I completely redraw and extended this font and called it Zierfraktur. To take full advantage of this fine headline blackletter font, please use it from, at least, 18 points upward. This font contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary Ligatures. The round s can be reached by typing the # key, and you get the numero sign by typing the combination N-o-period and activating the OT feature Ordinals.

Mesa is a revival of an old pointed Tuscan font from the MacKellar Smiths and Jordan type foundry called Broad Gauge circa 1874. This new version offers a few alternates including half slab and full slab uppercase A's. Opentype case sensitive forms are also included in the Mesa font family. We started production on this font in 2009 but set it aside to work on other projects, we're pleased to have finally finished it. Boris Mahovac has adapted a friend’s handwriting in this new font called Kloi (pronounced Chlo – ee). It has a very casual feel and includes alternative swash glyphs of some key characters as well as some extra ligatures. Taking advantage of the ligature and contextual swash features in OpenType, the alternate glyphs automatically replace the standard glyphs when appropriate, creating a very unique look. Available in PostScript OpenType format, Kloi’s extended glyph set covers the Western and Central European, Baltic and Turkish languages.

El Guapo is a hand drawn font available in sans serif and script faces. It is suitable for headlines and call outs of all kinds where a hand made look is desired. The letters were drawn by Prissy Pots owner Erin Solomon and include regular and bold versions. Each face also includes an entirely separate set of lowercase letters accessible in your glyphs palette. These extra letter will automatically show up with contextual alternates turned on for a more natural, random look.

Bohemio was designed in memory of Gunter Böhmer, an artist famous for his many book covers of the 1950s in Germany. The cover I took as an inspiration for this font is that of a book called Stiller (by Max Frisch). Bohemio sounds similar to "Böhmer" (which means the one from Bohemia) and it is also an alliteration to artisty. I thought "Bohemio" to be a nice name for this very strong, almost expressionist design. Yours very artsy craftsy Gert Wiescher

Solaris is a sans serif or a grotesque as we still call it where I come from. (it is an old term which means strange compared with Roman which was the normal font) The face is an open sans, which means that the round signs take the air into the form, minuscule d is drawn kind of backwards like in Gill Sans, which sets off on minuskel a. Here is the Regular version, with a slightly difference between stems and hairlines.
