Origen is a typeface inspired by the illuminated manuscripts whereby the text is accompanied by a decorative capital letter at the start of the text. The family is formed by three different weights (light, regular, bold) and an additional decorative set of capital letters. Each of the four styles has characters to write in all Latin-based languages. It is an Open Type font. The Origen family is a hybrid between Textura and Rotunda fonts, characterized by a dynamic calligraphic flow. Origen is also playful as it can be use in editorial, advertising and packaging designs to capture viewers' attention through refined details.

Australian typographer Harry Pears continues to explore ancient type forms while maintaining his consultancy business Typeface Research Pty. Ltd., of Lake Cathie, Australia. Born in Quirindi, Australia, Harry has had a long career in printing and graphic arts and has been the guiding force behind the creation of the Lindisfarne Nova family. Lindisfarne Nova Incised and Lindisfarne Runes are wonderful illustrative companions to the Lindisfarne Nova text fonts. Greater Albion Has been toying with thoughts of a “unicase” typeface for a while. On the other hand we’ve always wondered just what practical use they are. It is also a while since we’ve introduced a ‘handwritten’ design. Therefore, It struck us that one answer was something ‘hand-lettered’. These days many people do write in a sort of informal unicase don’t they? But, at the same time, we wanted it to have a little character. So here it is, a bit calligraphic, with a touch of black-letter and a cunning mix of upper- and lower-case forms Uncia Black!

Peter started as a sketch in the static sans-serif tradition of Helvetica®. Then slight references to the calligraphic origin of type were added, giving it a more distinct character. This is a fully connected script font, not calligraphic, but entirely designed to follow handwritten cursive ligatures rules as teached in schools. Trying to write All Capitals will generate Block Letters writings, since cursive style doesn't allow more than the first uppercase per word, however this font is not meant to be a Block Letters font. Linotype Sketch is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. German designer Dieter Kurz gave his display font a calligraphic character. The forms lean slightly to the right and have a spontaneous and individual look. This light, cheerful font also displays a harmony among the forms and gives text a personal touch. Linotype Sketch combines well with modern text fonts which have the same narrow proportions. This font is well-suited for headlines and short and middle length texts with point size 12 or larger.

A rounded version of Albiona, a contemporary slab-serif which revisits aspects of Robert Besley’s classic Clarendon. Originally named after the Clarendon Press in Oxford, the type family was subsequently extended by Stephenson Blake in the 1950s. Albiona adds the inwardly-curved stroke terminals of the same foundry’s Grotesque series, and includes italics and old-style and tabular numerals. The original Clarendon’s ball serifs and calligraphic eccentricities have been rationalised for functional contemporary uses. The family consists of five weights plus italics and a stencil, and its clean readable style is perfect for both extended text as well as headline setting.

(1722). Invitation Script is the third script superfamily published by Intellecta Design, after Penabico and Van den Velde Script. Invitation Script has original letters designed by Iza W. Creative direction and core programming were provided by Paulo W. Chyrllene K assisted with some work on unusual and archaic styles, resulting in a special font - Invitation Script Archaic (soon available). Invitation started out from Andrade’s script style and evolved into a voluptuous script font family.
