ITC Cerigo is the result of a challenge which designer Jean-Renaud Cuaz set for himself: to create a typeface with the grace of Renaissance calligraphy but different from the numerous Chancery scripts. He calls Cerigo a 'vertical italic' and based it on 15th century calligraphic forms. The weights are carefully designed to complement each other and are made more flexible by a number of italic swash capitals. The flexible ITC Cerigo is suitable for both text and display.

Rika is a combination of supposedly male and female characteristics, combining together to create a beautifully realised, high impact, condensed typeface. The tall but well-built characters are softened with smooth curves and a mixing in of thin lines, so that the sharpness of many condensed fonts is brought under control. Suave in its application, Rika is all professionalism and elegant showmanship, great for both headlines and text. Rika comes with support for a number of languages, as well as specifically designed glyphs, and its uses might be considered limitless.

Klangfarbe is a quirky ultramodern script with unique stroke tapers and droplet-like finials. This font is a true chameleon and is very much at home with a variety of looks: from a reimagining of kitschy 1950s scripts, to analog retro-tech, to steampunk, to high-fashion futuristic logos and beyond. Klangfarbe — a German language term meaning “timbre” or “sound color” — references the visual appearance of audio frequency waveforms echoed in many of the lowercase letters. Albemarle is a distinctive text font based on hand lettered text from the turn of the century. It's designed to work well at text sizes, but to have some of the flair and personality of a calligraphic font. The result is both attractive and readable and doesn't look much like any other text font. We've been working on expanding the Albemarle family so that it now includes not just Albemarle, but also three swash variations and a new italic version of the font.

Herald Banner is the newest (as at January 2017) of Greater Albion’s ‘Banner’ or ‘Masthead' typeface. It tales the form of letters on a long heraldic banner twined about a central mace. It is offered in two forms- a conventional monochrome typeface and a set of eight interrelated typefaces designated ‘Colour’ 1 through to ‘Colour 8’. These (and indeed the monochrome face) have identical metrics and can be overlaid to produce multi-coloured lettering with the bare minimum of effort.

Komsomol (short for Kommunisticheskii Soyuz Molodyozhi) was the youth division of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Komsomol font was modeled on several Soviet propaganda posters which all had one thing in common: a very loud message in a very clear typeface. Aw, aren't they sweet? This lettering is based on a 1950s note a husband wrote to his wife shortly after they were married. His beautifully controlled and strong handwriting knows no lowercase characters; he gets his point across in uppercase only. In today's world of email and internet writings, we know that uppercase means shouting and is considered quite rude, but he didn't know that when he wrote this letter to his lovely wife! Cerulea is a unicase from the world of the sky. Drawing inspirations from Art Nouveau, Classical Roman, and Uncial styles, Cerulea's wide, spacious bowls, sharp points, and subtle wandering curves evoke airiness, flight, and fantasy. Seven weights, and true italics for each, range from zephyrous to thunderous. Comma Base is a sans typeface for it has no serifs. No wait, it is a typical serif typeface because it has a high contrast. Strictly speaking, Comma Base is a missing link between serif and sans, offering the best of both worlds. Comma Base supports several OpenType features for advanced typographic control. It consists of 16 styles, 8 weights from Hairline to Ultra, in both roman and italic. Comma Base is a uniwidth font. Alizé is a three-weight typeface inspired by the chancery italic of the 16th century. It is a high-contrast face, created with syncopations in axes and proportions and subtle irregularities that form a lively and delicate weave, suitable for setting a single word, a special expression, or a short block of prose. The family does not contain a roman, and instead promotes the italic as a primary style, a common printing convention in the 16th and 17th centuries. The italic lowercase predates inclined capitals by about twenty years, and as a nod to this typographic evolution, Alizé’s capitals, small capitals, and figures are very slightly inclined to match the energy of the lowercase. The low x-height and long ascenders and descenders, features associated with finesse and luxury, are reminiscent of the Venetian-style italic, but are further emphasised. Unlike the Venetian italic, however, Alizé has a sharp slope, giving a prominent sweep across the page (alizé is the name of trade wind). Each font of Alizé has a character set count of exceeding 700, and contains an abundance of ligatures, dynamic fractions, ornaments, and pan-European language support. They have also been manually hinted for the highest-quality display on both print and screen.

A 1928 menu for the restaurant “Rotisserie Du Cardinal” had the word “Cardinal” hand lettered in quite an unusual Art Nouveau type design consisting of thick and thin lines using angles to form the letter shapes. This eccentric (yet charming) style of lettering is now available as Rotisserie Menu JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

ITC Hornpype is the work of California freelance designer Mott Jordan, a cheerful display face inspired in part by the cartoons of the 1920s and 30s. According to Jordan, the typeface's name and three-dimensional quality can be traced to an early cartoon in which a cat blows on a horn with such force that the instrument bulges out. For the three-dimensional look, Jordan added highlights to the thicker strokes to create letters that look as though they were, in his words, squeezed from a toothpaste tube". Preta, portuguese for a very pure kind of black, has its name very related to its concept: I wanted to make the fattest/darkest script ever. People who follow my work may notice its forms are very related to works of my past (1) but this time the challenge was to be very cautious with the white spaces between letters. Not only I followed some rules and ductus of the copperplate style of calligraphy but also I took a lot of inspiration in posters of the early Art Nouveau (specially in Alfred Roller of the Vienna Secession) where letters forms looked like black squares if not looked from a close distance. With Preta, I wanted to achieve that same idea of “darkness” and thanks to the always welcomed question -what if?- the font grew a lot. The result is a very fat font, that looks delicious. Due to possible customer needs, I designed Preta Small, so it can be used in smaller sizes. Preta Ao Sol (which literally means under the sun!) is a style with those lovely tiny details to give the sensation of bright. Preta Ao Sol Solo was made to be used as a layered font with Preta. Finally, Preta Capitals serves as a company for Preta. In Dutch, a Mandarijn is a Tangerine. I found out that it is called a Mandarin in Australia as well! I really like Mandarins, so I thought I’d give them their well-deserved place in the spotlights by naming a font after them. The whispers part - well, that’s just because it sounded good. Transistor is a decorative and electronic serif typeface. One of the historical connection was the Didot, development in French. Transistor typeface was designed from the concept and experimentation with electronic circuits. The main typographic proportion are connected with the modern typeface, like Didot where the letterforms are inspired from the point nib pen design approach but also with electronic type style letterforms.

Camden is based on the types used in Camden's 'Remaines concerning Britaine' published in London in 1638. The object was to avoid the contradiction inherent in most 'distressed' typefaces made to give the effect of the imperfections in old print. This means that apparently worn characters are perfectly repeated throughout a setting. The makeup of the Camden fonts means that, with a little extra keying time, alternate characters may be brought in which overcome this. Also many characters are provided which have 'period identities' such as the long s with ligatures, tied sorts ct, sp and st, swash characters in the italic and the double vv, all of which can add a specific age identity.

Poleno is a custom typeface originally designed in 2006 for the Slovak folk dance ensemble Poleno, as a part of their corporate identity. Ever since, new weights have been added to complete six variables and two different options for accents. The typeface adds a fresh, bold and non-rational feeling to headlines and titles in books and posters in display sizes where emphasis and detail are equally important. Randomly-generated contextual alternates included in the family contribute to add a distinctive look to words with repeating characters, whenever they occur next to each other. The difference between the Poleno Set and the Poleno Alt Set is in the accented characters. In the first one, accents are merged with the characters and in Alt version, accents are separated from the characters.
