Body graphic project at Behance Body is a type family designed for Zetafonts by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini with Andrea Tartarelli. Conceived as a contemporary alternative to modernist superfamilies like Univers or Helvetica, Body tries to maximize text readability while providing a wide range of options for the designer. It comes in two variants (Body Text and Body Grotesque), each in four widths and four weights: regular and bold for basic typesetting, light and extrabold for display use. Body Grotesque applies to the sans serif modernist skeleton little imperfections and quirks inspired by our research in early 20th century type specimens. Curves are slightly more calligraphic and a light inverse contrast is applied to bold weights, giving the typeface a slight vintage appearance in display use. Body Text, on the contrary, challenges the modernist aesthetics maximizing horizontal lines and using open terminals for letters like “s” and “a” that appear normally dark in modernist grotesques. For both variants, the normal width family is slightly condensed in an effort to maximize space usage; the Slim width is provided for extremely dense texts or side notes while the Fit width is optimized for display usage as in logos, headings or titles. The Large width manages to look elegant in its light weight while becoming a valid heading or subtitle font in its extrabold weights. All the 64 fonts in the Body superfamily include a complete latin extended character set with small caps for over 70 languages, Russian cyrillic, open type positional numbers, stylist sets and alternate forms.

MyCRFT was designed as a custom heading typeface for Drew Maughan's IhNohMinecraft project. ABOUT THE PROJECT Beginning life in 2015 under the name Mascoteers, the project was an ensemble of small-scale characters built from LEGO elements. The challenge was in creating the different figures with the restrictions of existing LEGO elements, while being recognisable as individual characters. The project was initially well received within the LEGO community and with the general public, but was eventually ignored and even ridiculed in favour of LEGO's own BrickHeadz theme, launched in late 2016. It was rebranded IhNohMinecraft as a response to the deliberate cries of "Ih dih Minecraft?" since BrickHeadz' launch. The project has no relation to the popular game. ABOUT THE TYPEFACE The motivation to create MyCRFT was as part of establishing IhNohMinecraft as its own project, by giving it a new visual identity. The typeface could be described as a cross between the ones used for Gears Of War and Overwatch. I liked the boldness of the former, and the italicized straight edges of the latter. MyCRFT was intended to be used in its Black Italic form from the beginning, and was designed around the letters from the word MINECRAFT. Where I couldn't decide on specific characters, I've included the designs as alternative glyphs. I've also included the old "square" Mascoteers logo and the newer "head" IhNohMinecraft logo. In the past it was the monk's duty to duplicate the bible, as they wrote everything by hand. The "Lazy Monk" font shows how these replica could have appeared if the monks had been too drunk or too lazy to rewrite the bible.

A 1940s Australian song folio featuring tunes performed by singer-actress Deanna Durbin had her name hand lettered in an interesting Art Deco style sans. This became the basis for Song Folio JNL, capturing all the nuances of the original in digital form.

Hey Comrade is a very messy script font. It was made with a bamboo satay skewer (which I had soaked in ink). Hey Comrade would look good on book covers, packaging and in magazines. Comes with a 5-year plan of diacritics.

This began life as a European font that was copied in the United States by Bruce's Type Foundry in 1885. It was caps only and had a fine line "three-D" shadow. We scrapped the shadow, added a lower case, and voila!

Hermaphrodite was developed for the Bastard Project and had its origin in the idea of applying the process of an Antiqua on a Grotesque. In other words, a Grotesque font was drawn calligraphically and then digitized. Some inconvenient corners were simply cut off.

I present to your attention a new font - Scarytale I had a desire to make a vintage style with a cute but scary story. It is a multi-layered, multilingual vintage typeface that works well for fabulous books, T-shirts and logos.

Headlock is a handmade serif. My 6 year old son just had his first real Judo exam and the one thing he excels at is the headlock. Headlock comes with double letter ligatures and all the diacritics you need, plus basic Cyrillic!

The poster for the 1930 film “Show Girl in Hollywood” had the title hand lettered in a squared Art Deco style with some angled cross strokes. This became the basis for Dancing Girl JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A 1920s magazine featuring behind-the-scenes stories about the motion picture industry had its name [“Shadowland”] lettered in an Art Nouveau sans serif style. This has been recreated digitally as Movie Nouveau JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

George Bruce's New York foundry had a remarkable number of decorative types, most of which were lost or destroyed when the firm was taken over by the American Type Founders Co. and closed down in 1906. Bruce catalogs are prized among collectors.

This font was created from the handwriting of my friend Ingrid. I always felt she had great handwriting and this font is proof of this. There are for styles to choose from, a great alternative to the common handwriting fonts seen everywhere.

The 1933 sheet music compilation entitled "Kate Smith Memories Song Book" had the singer's name hand lettered in a bold, spurred serif typeface. This lettering design became the basis for Radio Show JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Shabwa is An Arabic typeface for Print And screen. this font family is from Kufi style and contains 3 weights: Regular, Medium and bold. Shabwa is simple and a little detailed font and its three weights are fully harmonized, one letter with one length on the line, and words with a uniform length on the line, gives a comfortable reading look.

ITC Outback was designed by Bob Alonso, a contemporary typeface with a distressed" look. It combines the rustic 1920s look of Rudolph Koch's Neuland with the proportions of a 1960s headline typeface, then roughens the edges 1990s style. The crude, rough ITC Outback is clearly intended as a display typeface but reads surprisingly well even in sizes as small as 18 point."

Inspired by a handwritten Cyrillic placard seen in a book about the Soviet Union, Statue of Liberty's Underwear was envisioned as having been written with a very thick pen with a flat tip held horizontally. Additionally, the letterforms were sculpted to resemble lettering common in early 20th-century Russian constructivism pieces. A Cyrillic alphabet, or "azbuka", set was included in the font.
