I was listening to the radio and a song caught my attention. It was ‘Demagogue’ by a band called the Urban Dance Squad. That song brought back memories from when I was a student, so I decided to name this font after it. Demagogue was made using a Sharpie pen and a piece of expensive paper. The result is a very legible, very neat and very bold font. Demagogue is ideal for when you want to get your message across, but hopefully not in a demagogue-ish way! ;-)

PRIMITIVE is an attempt for an essential of urban culture, especially graffiti and the unique pixaçao. PRIMITIVE is also inspired by the ancient cultures, especially scandinavian tribes as an anagram to the present. This "vandalism" is viewed from several angles. PRIMITIVE is one of them. Hardbop is a typographic system inspired by jazz, especially the style it's named after "Hardbop". It's also inspired by the prolific graphic work of Reid Miles for the covers of Blue Notes Records in the '50s, Japanese jazz album covers of the '70s and condensed and grotesque hand painted signs. Hardbop also references classic fonts such as Impact, Bebas, Din, Frontage and TT Trailers, the latter in the exaggeration of certain characteristics such as counterforms and endings. Hardbop design works for titles and wide spaces and was specially designed for covers and posters, where its intention is not to go unnoticed. M Razor is so called ""neo Sung-style"" typefaces. Crossbars (橫) and stems (豎) are orthogonal and upright. Their entry and finial points are squarish, parallel without flare. RensGazet is a decorative blackletter typeface with elaborate upper-case letters and condensed lower-case characters. It was inspired by the masthead of a short-lived weekly newspaper, The Rensselaer Gazette, which was published from 1857 until 1860. I could not find any existing digitized fonts that replicated this old typeface, so I decided to create an interpretation of it. I had samples of few letters in large point sizes and a number of others at a small point size, though these were blurry and not sharply defined. As a result, this typeface is undoubtedly considerably different from the original. Also, my spacing is much tighter than that in the source samples.

Chevin is a contemporary rounded type family in 6 weights which was designed with functionality and legibility in mind. With its open counters and slightly condensed style, Chevin can be used for text and is particularly suited to signage. Erik Spiekermann is a fan, noting that Chevin “is charming without being cute, and very legible even in small sizes because of its restrained shapes and simple construction.” Chevin is named after a hill on the outskirts of Otley in West Yorkshire. Since 2007, the type family has been highly prominent in the UK as Royal Mail’s corporate font and the typeface that adorns every Post Office in the country. Sudtipos is really proud to announce the release of Regional, a solid workhorse type family of 27 styles inspired by the Old Style Bold models from the late XIX century by different type foundries. The unique diagonal in the "R" has been the key that inspired us to create many of the several alternates included in the set. CamingoMono is a modern monospaced typeface family of seven weights with matching italics, from ExtraLight to Black. You'll find Karmaline's semi-condensed width to be useful for both strong headlines and for comfortable copyfitting in narrow column widths. This font also works very well when adding layered shadow and highlight effects, and is a great choice for logos.

Unusually Deco JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions From Wikipedia: “Père Noël “Papi Christmas”, sometimes called ‘Papa Noël’ (“Daddy Christmas”), is a legendary gift-bringer at Christmas in France and other French-speaking areas, identified with the Father Christmas and/or Santa Claus of English-speaking territories. Acies is a sharp sans with accented stroke width contrast and slightly condensed proportions. Its shapes are reduced to the bare minimum, conveying simplicity and sophistication. Jochen Schuss, the Biedenkopf, Germany, designer who was most recently responsible for ITC Vino Bianco, has created in ITC Whiskey a condensed display face that's both angular and soft at the same time. While the letterforms of Whiskey are clearly roman, there's a slight reminiscence of blackletter in the face's narrow proportions, its dark weight, and its persistent internal angle - not quite the 45 degrees common in a classic German textura, but a gentler angle of 25 or 30 degrees. And the counters are all rounded, as are the ends of all the strokes, giving Whiskey a comfortable friendliness despite its severe structure. The character set includes an alternate z" and an "ft" ligature."

The Genesa typeface is a condensed, rounded sans serif typeface with a contemporary styling ideal for editorial or branding design. Inspired by the large American wood type of the Wild West, Richard Yeend created Italienne Std in 2002. Italienne Std is both very condensed and very decorative. It sports heavy, band like serifs, reminiscent of other italienne-style fonts, like Westside. Italienne-style fonts rose in popularity during the early 19th Century, when designers were first beginning to experiment with extreme contrast within letterforms, and across lines of text. Interestingly enough, letterforms with similar designs were just as common during the 1970s as during the 1870s, so you may use Italienne Std for applications ranging from country music concerts to disco parties. Italienne Std is part of the Take Type 5 collection from Liinotype GmbH."
