Latina is our first humanist typeface designed for use in continuous text. This font is based on calligraphy, but calligraphic features have been changed in order to make Latina a more neutral font. This prevents readers from losing their focus when reading continuous text. On the other hand, these same features get highlighted when using the font for headlines or display text. This 11-weight family includes italics and small caps, and supports 219 different languages as well as several sets of figures. Latina is the perfect choice for publishing design (books and magazines), branding and advertising.

After readings and reflections about the process-poem,“anti-literary” movement, contemporary of concretism, a font of simple form that could provide directions and sense of reading demanded its creation. So we have done the labor of the processual, modulate by consequence and not by option, born with autonomy and authority. The process demanded soon two things: first, to not be one more “hard to read pixelfont” used only by its creators; second, to attend to the requirements of the poem-process, not like a good daughter but like a modern and comprehensive grandchild (the generations understand themselves to the jumps).

Quiet Sans is a super geometric sans-serif family for text designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa and the whole family consists of 6 weights from ExtraLight to ExtraBold and their matching Italics. Twentieth Century was Lanston Monotypes answer to Futura. In fact Saul Hess's redrawing of Futura is so close that this new digital revival includes alternates of the long lost original letterforms originally designed by Paul Renner for Futura, but were left out of the released version that has become so popular. 20th Century is a modern sans serif with apparent geometry yet still a certain warmth in its design. The OpenType version of LTC Twentieth Century incorporates the alternate Renner glyphs with two sets of alternate lowercase characters. The font also includes oldstyle numerals and a full Western and Central European character set.

Every single character in Nipey is unique! Meaning that no characters is a copy of another. All accented characters therefore are hand-drawn and unique. For example, the letter "ñ" is not a copy of 'n' with a diacritical tilde - and this goes for all accented characters, as well as the ordinary ones! Besides that, Nipey has got autoligatures for doublelettered lower- and uppercase, as well as numbers. But that's not all! Nipey also has got a full set of alternate lower- and uppercase letters! Greene and Hollins of Wolverhampton were a rather smart gentleman’s outfitter, much frequented by my late grandfather and altogether redolent (in memory and actuality) of a bygone age of retail service and respect. I believe they’re out of business now, but we’re rather pleased to offer them this very small if rather random memorial. Greene and Hollins is a set of seven display typefaces, with uniform metrics, which can be overlaid to create multi-coloured ‘engraved’ effects. Also ideal to recreate traditional sign-writing, garment labels, signage and anything else where a period flare is required.

Michael Gills, formerly a resident designer at Letraset, created the Fling typeface in 1995. Fling's letterforms are based on the Ronde --or round--script style from France. The design includes intricate and generous capital letters, which are contrasted with a more reserved lowercase letters. This allows for a sophisticated and elegant appearance in text. Fling's letterforms are highly legible for those of a script face, and it is a typeface with many uses. Aside from short amounts of running text, Fling's capital letters serve well as initials. Originally ZionTrain was built as a (probably first in Cyrillic!) navigation typeface for the Kharkiv identity project and Kharkiv subway and airport navigation systems. We wanted comprehensible, distinctive letterforms, that can help everybody on the way from Babylon to Zion. The project was used in Kharkiv promotion at homeland and abroad, but was rejected by the new government. As a corporate typeface it was used for a few cultural projects. Now it is equipped with Slavic Cyrillic and Monotonic Greek and has special Stencil faces especially for low-budget navigations (don't forget to get your own Stencil Medium for free!).

Cavita Rounded typeface is a mix between both grotesque and calligraphic models: regulars have a rough grotesque spirit, while the italics where inspired in calligraphic gestures. All of these details are reinforced with an inverted modulation (horizontals strokes are thicker than usual). The italics seem to move away from the traditional concept of type system, but work very well alongside. This typeface has very particular shapes and rhythm, itís different and identifiable from the rest, making it a very good option to use on any piece of design. Bucintoro is a modern version of the rotunda blackletter, the Gothic book hand of Italy and Spain in the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. As the name implies, it's more "rotund" than the tall, angular Textur blackletter used in Germany that Gutenberg imitated. While the use of blackletter continued far into the 20th century in Germany and Scandinavia, the rotunda gave way to roman (and later also italic) letterforms in Italy, France, and Spain. It's less well known these days. Bucintoro has upper- and lowercase alphabets, numerals, punctuation, diacritics but lacks such modern characters as currency symbols. Has light, medium, and black weights.

Tradition meets tomorrow in Mexborough. Mexborough owes its origins to a challenge from a client of ours- they wanted a clear and easily readable typeface to use for signage in public spaces, but with enough flair and style to be suitable for use in heritage precincts. The result is a family of six Roman faces in a single weight, encompassing Regular, Text, Flamboyant, Small Capitals, Capitals and Title forms. These faces combine legibilty with traditional character, ideal for signage and poster work, where dignity and character are required. Mexborough's simple clean lines also lend themselves readily to web and online use.

My friends didn't use capitals when sending me text messages, e-mails and using all their digital toys. At the beginning, I was feeling ignored. But after time I thought, that... I can do something for them. And so, I've made Redaktor. Redaktor is a cute monospaced family of four fonts, which has only lowercase characters and large x-height. If you want to write an uppercase character, you can't do it. (OK, to be fair, there will be small underline, just to show you, what you have done...) You may find Redaktor useful for posters, titling, info-graphics or websites.

A Lost Art Deco Style Reborn and Multiplied Rhumba began as a digitization of a film typeface from LetterGraphics in the early 70's known as "Barrio Lined". Originally only a single typeface, represented by our Rhumba Lined style, it was fun and offered more diversity to expand out the styles of this gem. Playing off the stylings of fonts like Prisma, Rhumba fills in gaps between the various lines of the original to offer 3 alternate looks. The Rhumba family contains 382 characters per font. A comprehensive character map preview is at the end of the poster graphics collection.

The inspiration for this font came from a wall-writing in Cuba. At first glance we thought: "There is something wrong with the wall-writing." But a closer look revealed, that it just mixed up different stroke-styles. That "feature" became the designing principle behind CA Segundo: Round characters like O, U or C are available either with a fat or a thin stroke, whereas other characters with orthogonal lines come in two different styles – uppercase characters emphasize the vertical strokes, while lower cases emphasize the horizontal strokes. This gives you the opportunity to design just while you type.

Killer Garbage is a grunge version of my Spitzenklasse font. It's worn and torn real bad - but not more than the font is still legible even at very small sizes. I don't fancy grunge fonts that only has one or two versions of each letter available. The text usually gets very static and predictable, because the same letters are repeated again and again. That's why I have included 6 different versions of each letter in this font! And the great thing about this is that the letters automatically cycles as you type! Forget everything about repeating the same letters all the time!!!

Umberland Slab is an attractive family available in 3 different weights with italics. There’s a particular emphasis on simple geometric shapes and the way they interact with tall vertical strokes. Smooth curves and sharp angles blend together in a pleasing symmetry. Stroke widths are given variable degrees of contrast but serifs are consistent and heavy handed. Spacing is on the tight side with some lowercase pairs quite snug against each other. Umberland Slab would work well in small blocks of text, corporate logos, menus, or signage. This family is equipped with European accents/diacritics for international support, fractions, alternates, and ligatures.

The hand lettered word ‘puzzles’ from the box cover of a 1940s set of metal “connected” puzzle pieces manufactured by the A.C. Gilbert Company was the initial typographic model, but some additions and changes were made. Instead of the right side of the ‘P’ being a semi-circle, it was changed to a more conservative ‘’squared’ look. After drawing out all of the necessary glyphs, the overall height of the characters was extended to make the letters and numbers appear taller and narrower. The end result is Narrow Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Neue Frutiger Arabic was created by Nadine Chahine and a team of designers and font engineers from the Monotype Studio, under the direction of Monotype type director Akira Kobayashi. The family is available in 10 weights from Ultra Light to Extra Black. Neue Frutiger Arabic embodies the same warmth and clarity as Adrian Frutiger's original design, but allows brands to maintain their visual identity, and communicate with a consistent tone of voice, regardless of the language. It is part of the Neue Frutiger World collection, offering linguistic versatility across environments – suited to branding and corporate identity, advertising, signage, wayfinding, print, and digital environments.

A Tartufo is a truffle in Italian. I have to admit, I have never eaten one, so I couldn’t really tell you if they’re any good. I suppose they are, but you’ll have to find that out for yourselves! Tartufo font is a bit of a weird font. It was hand made with a rollerball pen on some very expensive French paper. As I was drawing each glyph, I figured I might as well include Cyrillic and Greek. Tartufo is not a text font - I’d use it for packaging, posters, book covers and T-shirts. Comes with a whole bunch of diacritics!

FF Berlage started as a research project about the typography of the prominent Dutch architect Hendrik Pieter Berlage (1856 1935). Donald Beekman based the design on a great number of sources, but mainly lettering found in two of Berlage s most quintessential buildings, the Amsterdam Commodities Exchange building (called Beurs van Berlage), and the ANDB building for the Amsterdam diamond cutters union (called De Burcht). Berlage is considered the father of modern architecture in The Netherlands due to his revolutionary theories on architecture and design, that would greatly influence many Dutch architect groups, like the Amsterdam School and De Stijl.

Roadie was inspired by a 1981 Hallmark card with lettering that was full of frolicking fun. Filled with a childish persona and a playful bounce, this Roadie has a lot to offer. As with some of my previous type designs, it is a typographic dance, wonderfully skipping across designs, surprising with each letter typed. With an extensive character set, and clean sharpie marker-like look, Roadie is a joy to typeset with, and it comes with a stylistic alternates feature that shuffles the Capitals and lowercase that share similar unicase forms that add to the quirky playfulness.
