The idea behind designing ‘Matwin’ font was related to the youngest children of the designer namely the M-A fraternal twin. I am creating new fonts for my Halloween collection and Gallows Hill is the latest one. It was made using a cheap brush, gouache mixed with Chinese ink and paper. The result is a very messy, rough and scary font. As a bonus, I have added double letter ligatures for the lower case.
