Arthur Baker's display script Sassafras, designed in 1995, is based on the natural inline effect created when writing with a split-metal nibbed pen. Black and white are nicely balanced, giving this calligraphic face a remarkably smooth appearance. The regular and italic versions of Sassafras include two alternate faces: one with long, tall ascenders and regular-length descenders, and one with shortened ascenders and descenders that allow it to fit where its companion might not. In both, the ascenders increase in width as they move upward, while the descenders taper to a fine point. This variety of form makes Sassafras a very flexible choice for display work.

Alizé is a three-weight typeface inspired by the chancery italic of the 16th century. It is a high-contrast face, created with syncopations in axes and proportions and subtle irregularities that form a lively and delicate weave, suitable for setting a single word, a special expression, or a short block of prose. The family does not contain a roman, and instead promotes the italic as a primary style, a common printing convention in the 16th and 17th centuries. The italic lowercase predates inclined capitals by about twenty years, and as a nod to this typographic evolution, Alizé’s capitals, small capitals, and figures are very slightly inclined to match the energy of the lowercase. The low x-height and long ascenders and descenders, features associated with finesse and luxury, are reminiscent of the Venetian-style italic, but are further emphasised. Unlike the Venetian italic, however, Alizé has a sharp slope, giving a prominent sweep across the page (alizé is the name of trade wind). Each font of Alizé has a character set count of exceeding 700, and contains an abundance of ligatures, dynamic fractions, ornaments, and pan-European language support. They have also been manually hinted for the highest-quality display on both print and screen.

In the basic version of the typeface, all glyphs have simple chopped shapes, created according to the usual geometric principles. In the alternative version of TT Tunnels, which becomes available when you turn on OpenType feature stylistic alternates or stylistic set 1, the typeface comes to life and turns into a stylized ductal gothic grotesque, in which the design of glyph forms is created based on the pen movements. Et Cetera is a beautiful, hand-lettered script. It abounds in OpenType features such as terminal swashes and ligatures and is best used with OpenType savvy software with the “standard ligatures” and “contextual alternates” features turned ON. Et Cetera is comprehensive and vigorous. Most letters in the font are connected, but, as in typical handwriting fonts, not all are connected. Most characters have a consistent shape within the font, but not all. Some characters in Et Cetera are sensitive to their position in the text and change depending on the adjoining characters. This contributes to the casual and relaxed style of Et Cetera; not allowing the features of the font to get between the reader and the message. This set of decorated initial letters was inspired by those used in 1510 in Nancy (France, Lorraine) for printing of "Recueil ou croniques des hystoires des royaulmes d'Austrasie ou France orientale[...]" Author Symphorien Champion, unknown printer. There were three sorts of initials family, but only one complete and clear, except a very few characters. The printer used some letters to represent others, as V, turned over to make a A, D to make a Q, M for E, So, the reconstruction was a little less difficult. Thorn, Eth, L slash and O slash were also added. The original font's letters was only drawn in white on a black background only, but it was tempting to propose a negative version in black on white. A few letters have multiple appearance, but only the A was clear enough to be reproduced. It can be used as variously as web-site titles, posters and flyer design, publishing texts looking like ancient ones, or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, as a very decorative, elegant and luxurious additional font... This font supports strong enlargements revealing its fine details and remaining very smart. Its original medieval height is about one inch equivalent to about three to four lines of characters. This font may be used with all our blackletter fonts, but as well with "1543 Humane Jenson", "1557 Italic" and "1742 Civilite", without any fear about anachronism.

HOKKIEN is an all caps sister to my other font Penang. It was inspired by some old pieces of Art Deco signage I had discovered in Penang Malaysia, The font is available in one weight for now. The font is loaded with plenty of foreign extras and currency symbols. I have also included an alternate cap S which works better visually in blocks of copy.

Casper Marker is a script that simulates writing with a marker and has a thick stroke, which is excellent for titles and large text. It was born as a font in block letters, but here it is in a minuscule version with numbers and glyphs. Casper Marker has a fresh and modern style, leaning a bit to the right which gives it dynamism and feeling with reading.

Display block letters inspired by train station LED board. Board Deluxe is a humanist version of previously release Board based on bitmap diamond cells pixel font. Original Board (released by T.26) provided rounded corners diamond shape cells deliver surprisingly nice texture when use in extra large size. Board Deluxe gives you solid headline letters that spell out the midpoint between Digital and OldStyle.

Inspired by strange classic typography, Gogles has its own unique style. This font is best suited for headlines of all sizes, as well as for blocks of text that have maximum and minimum variations. BlinkHead is a powerfull block typeface inspired by industrial revolution and machineries. It comes in three styles for the moment with possibility to be added more later. Equa is a font based on strict grid rules. The name "Equa" comes from the equal widths of the vertical strokes, inner spaces and counters and spaces between glyphs. Auberjean is a playful handmade display font, great for social posts, editorial design, posters, book covers, signs, and more! This font has a hip and contemporary feel. It works well for headlines as both uppercase and lowercase, as well as short blocks of text like quotes and info blurbs. The thick, rounded style means it looks great with an outside stroke or offset outline.

Blomfer is a simple, yet dynamic Graphic Typeface based on the chamfering of a simple block font. The sheet music for the title song of the 1960 movie "Exodus" had the name hand lettered in a block stencil style with rounded corners and narrow "rails" [the breaks between the stencil parts]. Loosely based on this design and working from just the six letters of the title, Cartage Stencil JNL is available as a digital font in both regular and oblique versions.

The letterforms for this typeface are pretty much standard block gothic, but its prismatic treatment features a twist: the letters appear to be lit from below rather than above, which is usually the norm. The result is a perfect choice for dramatic headlines. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

Quatsity is a squarish or boxy serifed font with rounded corners. Quatsity is is suitable for titles or signage and legible enough for small blocks of text. Quatsity-Light was constructed in 1995 by blending two very different faces, a typeface very similar to Kwersity (with low contrast) and one similar to Qwatick (with high contrast). The other seven styles were added in 2020.

Mayence is the French name of Mainz, German city where Johannes Gutenberg was born. It's a manuscript font inspired in the author's calligraphy, with an angular structure, marked by a certain impulsiveness. Besides being a continuous-line font, Mayence explores some deviations and imperfections in the calligraphy practice, as accumulations of paint and anomalies in the thickness variation, characteristics which gives it more naturality. Its main difference is the set of over 430 ligatures (Premium version), based on the research and selection of important character sequences, rather frequent in several languages. For this, a study was done about the diphthongs, triphthongs and di-tri-tetra-pentagraphs more common in languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Hungarian, Croatian, among others. Ligatures with up to 2 characters are enabled by default and with more than 2 characters are enabled by the Discretionary Ligatures option. Mayence also contains several ligatures based on common words in English and Spanish, exclusive ligatures with numbers and another standard, discretionary, historic and Unicode ligatures. The second in our Cool Japan series, Odaiba Soul echoes back to some of the futuristic amusement centers and entertainments found on Odaiba Island in Tokyo Bay. Tailored for sci-fi lettering, anime awesomeness or even just making flyers for a day trip across the Rainbow Bridge, this is one to keep in mind!

The Federal Music Project was part of Franklin D. Roosevelt's WPA (Works Progress Administration), putting many people back to work in the Depression years of the 1930s. A hand-lettered poster advertising an "American Music Festival" featuring the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra offered up the extra bold Art Deco inspiration which became Music Festival JNL

When I created my first website, I loved using vintage sewing pattern illustrations in my designs. Thinking back on it, I wanted to create a dingbat inspired by those images and Sewing Patterns is the result. The font features ladies-fashions in silhouette form for uppercase and lowercase letters and childrens- styles for the numbers.

Upperclass was a font I created back in 1995. I had a brainstorm about the uppercase letter “A”. I noticed that the cross bar for the letter A is always toward the bottom, what if I moved it toward the top. The result is a unique font, a great addition to your font collection.

Back in the days when we earned our living with a travelling magic show, we took the shaded font Lithotint, filled it in, modified some characters, and here is the result. In those days, to use the font we had to cut and paste stats of individual letters by hand. You have it easier!
