Talbot Type Keymer is inspired by Margaret Calvert's Transport typeface, designed for the British road sign system in the early 1960s. Keymer mixes geometric and humanist traits to achieve a modern, clean, elegant appearance. It is a legible and versatile text and display face available in seven weights. Keymer features an extended character set to include old style numerals, accented characters for Central European languages and bespoke characters in the italic for a more flowing look.

Typefaces with very thin verticals and fat, square serifs were popular in the 19th century for display. Hollywood helped associate this style with the Old West, but reference books identify some of it as Italian style. WyomingSpaghetti, part of an extended family of typefaces, has a name which combines these two associations. Most typefaces of this type are very condensed, but this one is not. The letter o is nearly circular, which is rather unusual in this style.

Formosa is the old, colonial name for Taiwan. Formosa means beautiful in Portuguese and I think this handwritten typeface has a certain beauty itself. It comes in three styles, all of which make extensive use of ligatures, to give the font an authentic, handwritten feel. Like most of my fonts, Formosa comes with Babylonian language support.

Developed by Andrea Tartarelli as an extension to Calvino typefamily, Marcovaldo is a heavy condensed wedge serif, optimized for display design. The high contrast and rich texture of the old style letterforms marry digital aesthetics in a typeface that is at the same time impactful and refined, with its nod to the Elzevir and DeVinne tradition.

Eleonora tends to defy standard categories. Had the typeface been designed in about 1790, it might've been called a "late transitional face" and lumped together with Bell and Bulmer. But it's a modern typeface, showing more restraint in its finer details than even Baskerville. Also noteworthy: it has no traditional, script-like italic but a more severe oblique with baseline serifs and other roman features. Has regular, italic, bold, and bold italic styles.

TWT Prospero is the kind of typeface you seldom find in blocks of continuous text these days. Bombora evolved over years of designs in the world of surfing. The native name is given to massive surf building up over a reef, often dangerous, always spectacular. A typical Art Deco font. Another very squarish and futuristic font from Brian Kent. This time I've kept the very thin style of the diacritics, but I have redesigned the A and H (and a couple of other letters and glyphs ;) - mostly to give them a little more "meat". And then added the usual plethora of accented letters for our unique language support, of course. Result! Inspired by the shape of melting icecubes (“isbit” is the norwegian word for “ice cube”), this small superelliptical font family is perfect for logos and headlines. For these fonts I have reworked the spacing a bit, and completely redesigned the "N" as they were calligraphically very wrong. The Geometry Pro family has been designed to be the final word in purely geometric fonts, and this rounded Script sub-family is a nod to the 50s style of connected logomarks. Words set with both the Regular and the Alternate (with its more flourished capitals and alternate stem connections) can be extended by using the underscore character between letters. You can freely mix and match glyphs from both fonts to create a little bit of variety, and finding that perfect combination. Stack brings the spirit of industrial chimney lettering from the early twentieth century to the digital age. The typeface is designed to work both horizontally and vertically. Additionally, the fonts can work together in myriad chromatic expressions—providing limitless design possibilities. The family is true to the spirit of masonry lettering without being a direct lift of any specific lettering style from the industrial age. Like some of its masonry predecessors Stack is built as a typeface of 15 courses (horizontal rows) of ‘bricks.’ Based on several years of research a collection of 150+ photographs and roughly two dozen archival engineering drawings were amassed. The value of the historical references is a type family that is a legitimate reflection of masonry lettering styles of the period. In updating Stack for the digital age, the proportions of the base-unit ‘bricks’ and the thickness of ‘mortar’ joints have been optically adjusted to work in both screen-based and print media. Make room for Brogado JNL! This bold, yet squat slab serif font takes command when set into headlines. Although not thoroughly in the Western mold, Brogado JNL can still exude enough macho appeal to make its point strongly, yet clearly.
