The letters of NoPain went to a party and had a bit too much to drink. The four NoPain typefaces, regular and bold of NoPainRight and NoPainLeft, were formed by distorting the letters of the wide-serifed font Valgal.

A bold and beautiful handwriting - perfect for setting personal and meaningful messages. Some glyph shapes and stroke thicknesses has been normalized (to make the text more even), and I have added some kerning - not too much though, I wanted to keep the liveliness of it. Zuboni Stencil is a bold, uppercase typeface based on a Russian design from around 1920 (original designer unknown). Its extensive character set supports most European languages that use the Latin or Cyrillic alphabets as well as modern Greek.

Madisonian has been found in a catalogue of the New York Bruce type-foundry, dated 1859. The lower cases have the feeling of a Bodoni Italic and the initials have a "spencerian" touch. This font did exist originaly in a single weight. The family has been extended with a bold and an engraved version.

Manufacturer JNL is a reinterpretation of the classic type face Venus Extra Bold Extended, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. According to Wikipedia: “Venus or Venus-Grotesk is a sans-serif typeface family released by the Bauer Type Foundry of Frankfurt am Main, Germany from1907 onwards. ATF Alternate Gothic is a new, significant digital expansion of Morris Fuller Benton’s classic 1903 type design. Coen Hofmann revives an original design by Germany type foundry Schriftguss from 1940: His digital Admira is expanded with an extensive open type character set and even provides full Cyrillic. The face is set to best use at point sizes above 24.

Joe Cool is a bold geometric sans with minimal counters designed to achieve the maximum weight, solidity and impact on the page. Joe Cool Extended was actually created first, then it seemed like a good idea to add progressively more compact versions for added variety and versatility.
