Vasili Vasilyevich Radlof or Wilhelm Radloff (Russian: Василий Васильевич Радлов; German: Wilhelm Radloff; 17 January 1837 - 12 May 1918) was a German-born Russian orientalist and founder of Turcology. Radloff is a Russian Turkologist of German origin, who researches the Turkish world from different aspects, opens a new era in the history of Turkology by bringing them to light, and has devoted 60 years of his 81-year long life to these studies. In his work known as Radloff Atlas, it was published with a runic font that he developed specifically for the Old Turkish Runic Alphabet. I made the Turkish Runic Font using Radloff's Atlas. I developed this viking font based on this font and adapted it to Viking writing. I will adapt other runic versions when I have the opportunity.

Our Pardner font finds its inspiration from the title screens of the 1965 film “West and Soda”, an animated Italian film that was a parody on American Westerns. Director Bruno Bozetto claimed in an interview that he was in fact the originator of the Spaghetti Western, not Sergio Leone. MFC Nadall Medieval was originally designed by Bernard William "Berne" Nadall for Barnhardt Brothers & Spindler back in 1885 under the name "Faust Text" and later under the "Missal Text Series". While you could use its capitals to construct an initial monogram, this is not a monogram font, but instead a fully functional typeface for invitations and period lettering. This lettering style has been precisely recreated and expanded on to create a full typeface with a small collection of ligatures. Keep Calm is a family of fonts developed from the now famous World War 2 poster that was designed in 1939 but never issued, then rediscovered in 2000. As well as the original Keep Calm font, the medium weight of the poster, new weights are now available – Keep Calm Book (regular weight), Heavy and Light – and each weight comes with a complimentary italic. Version 2.0 (2017) is a comprehensive update which consists of numerous refinements and improvements across all weights. The family now contains a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters, Welsh diacritics and Irish dotted consonants. The four italics have been optically corrected with revised, ‘true italic’ forms of a and f. The crown motif from the top of the Keep Calm poster is located at the plus minus ± and section § keystrokes (Alt 0177 and Alt 0167 on Windows). The lowercase g follows the Gill/Johnston eyeglass model, but also included is an alternative, single-story g at the Alt G keystroke (Alt 0169 on a Windows keyboard), the normal location of the copyright symbol which has been relocated elsewhere in the fonts. An alternative lowercase t, without the curved wedge cutaway, is provided at the Alt T (dagger) keystroke (Alt 0134 on Windows). When I first saw the Keep Calm and Carry On poster, I wrongly assumed the letters to be Gill Sans. Recent research at the National Archive by Dr. Bex Lewis of Manchester Metropolitan University has revealed that the original poster was hand drawn by the illustrator and painter, Ernest Wallcousins. The Gill Sans influence is apparent, in the R particularly, the M’s perfectly pointed vertex is redolent of Johnston’s Underground, and the most anomalous character, the C, resembles the ‘basic lettering’ of engineers that provided the vernacular sources for the Gotham typeface. Developing the Keep Calm typeface has been an exercise in extrapolation; an intriguing challenge to build a whole, high quality font family based on the twelve available capitals of the Keep Calm poster, and on similar lettering from the other two posters in the original series. This has required the creation of new lowercase letters that are believably 1939; that maintain the influence of Gill and Johnston while also hinting at the functional imperative of a wartime drawing office. Wallcousins’s lettering balanced intuitive human qualities and the pure pleasure of drawing elegant contemporary characters, against an underlying geometry of ruled lines, perfect circles, 45° terminals, and a requirement for no-nonsense clarity.

Enzian is the fruit of a yearlong German Chancellor Fellowship sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Our hope was simple: to make something useful and beautiful out of something that most people consider to be neither. We were fascinated by the complex persona of Blackletter in Germany and drawn to its emotive ornament and its sensual, non-geometry. Two areas in particular, the long-standing rivalry and widely-believed inferiority that Blackletter had with Roman type and Blackletter’s relevance in contemporary culture, became the foundation of the project. The result is Enzian: an invigorated, original Blackletter of uncommon depth and hopefully, a bit of charm. It is warm and expressive, feminine and contemporary, while staying true to its hand-written, calligraphic roots. Enzian is a multi-language, workhorse typeface that can create hierarchy (with unconventional italic and small caps), and has numerals that fit the family. It is a display face that isn't afraid of handling longer text; one that is equally comfortable in headlines and in poetry. ITC Silvermoon was designed by Akira Kobayashi in the style of the advertisements of the 1920s. Art Deco was the artistic movement which marked the years between the two world wars, combining elements of Jugenstil, futurism and east Asian influences. This font carries on in that tradition. The small, high reaching figures with their elegant forms and reserved but distinguishing loops give Silvermoon its unmistakable look. Kobayashi designed this font in two weights, regular and bold. Cotton Club remembers the fonts of the thirties of the last century and the Bodoni, but it does not present graces: it is a sans serif. Neue Reman Sans contains 306 glyphs - this is the first version of Neue Reman Family with standard ligatures and a variety of figures and fractions. We create Neue Reman typeface to use in multipurpose project such as on website, systems, printing, embedding, servers, screens, display, digital-ads, branding, logos, titles, headlines, teks, and everything else. This font is a project that we are working on for the long term. We has updating the Condensed and Expanded versions. Then we plan to continue working on Latin Pro, Greek and Cyrillic. Initially, I participated in the contest to design the logo for Bill Lloyd. In the end, the design was rejected, but letters remained. I then decided to continue with the idea and complete the entire typeface. After a couple of months, I realized that the typeface was imperfect, and now that I’m working on an updated Lloyd type, this one is free. The main characteristic of the typeface is its bold and curvy shapes. It is also tall and original in design. It was a great experience because it taught me how failure inspires people to move on, and create something better.
