A bit of Victoriana whimsy from this set of two fonts is heavily inspired by a variety of 19th Century faces without being a direct revival of any one in particular. Michiana Pro is my new, hand-crafted connecting script! I've been hand lettering cards and envelopes to my wife and family in this type style for years and decided it was time to make a font based on it. I typically start with a single thin stroke for each letter, then build up the weight of the heavy stroke, so there ends up being a lot of charming variations in terms of style and color. The overall finish is rough, yet friendly. Perfect for invitations, place cards, love notes, and with its large x-height, it sets nicely for text. I grew up running around the dunes and beaches along Lake Michigan in northwest Indiana, and I think the shoreline and dune grass has inspired my aesthetic. Michiana Pro takes the name from a small area along the lake between the Indiana and Michigan state lines. There are a lot of nice, modest homes nestled in the duneland forests. The characteristic ‘French face’ was originally made in 1899 under the supervision of Joseph Pinel. Thus, what was originally French 10 pt. Nº 2, got its present name. The Frenchman Joseph Pinel called himself a "typographical engineer", but was at the time employed as a type draughtsman at the Linotype Works in Altrincham. It appears that this and some other faces that he supervised, were, except for use on the Linotype, also meant for manufacturing matrices for the Dyotype. This composing machine was an invention of Pinel. The Dyotype was a rather complicated machine and consisted, like the Monotype, of two separate contraptions, a keyboard which produced a perforated paper ribbon and a casting machine which produced justified lines of movable type. Unlike the Monotype which has a square matrix carrier, the Dyotype had the matrices on a drum (in fact two drums, hence the name of the machine). A Pinel Diotype company was founded in Paris and a machine was built with the help of the printing press manufacturer Jules Derriey. As is often the case, a lack of sufficient capital prevented the commercializing of this ingenious composing machine. Coen Hofmann digitized the font from a batch of very incomplete, damaged and musty drawings, which he dug up in Altrincham. He redrew all characters, bringing up the hairstrokes somewhat in the process. The result is a roman and italic, while the roman font also includes Small Caps

I couldn’t find the right typeface, so I drew my own letters and eventually expanded it out into an entire mega-family. Given its origins, naming it after my favorite star seemed totally appropriate. Amazon Lily font is a cute and playful font. Can be placed on many concepts. It would be more appropriate if used for something fun and funny.

Brewmaster Modern is a very contemporary script that will work well for sign lettering and t-shirt designs, it also resembles the lettering used for Budweiser Racing.

Baldur is an uncial TrueType font with elements of late Roman manuscript lettering. The font includes both upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation and miscellaneous mapping symbols.

With its strong diagonal emphasis, Gentry is a humanised techno face that manages to also incorporate some strong calligraphic touches. Powerful in short and single-word settings.

One of the classic display types of the 19th century, an Egyptian with bracketed serifs. There are many variants of this face and its uses are many.

An open, lightweight font of classical Roman proportions, designed for text or display setting. The serifs are slightly hooked, giving the face a liveliness on the baseline.

Terrace JNL is a bold, sturdy Art Deco titling face based on hand lettering found on the cover of some 1940s-vintage sheet music for the organ.

Allotropic is a pretty decorative face with a remarkable art nouveau flair. It loosely draws inspiration from a 1914 untitled alphabet by J.M. Bergling, a then "Modern Alphabet", and from its interpretation by Photo-Lettering, from the sixties. The design of Gondolieri has its origins in an experiment to combine aspects of Didone and Tuscan typefaces. The result has a continental 'Italianate' feel. Dexter is an original new typeface creation by Alex Kaczun. It is a warmer, more sophisticated grotesque that is both fun and interesting. Ministry Script was designed to be “A time capsule that marks both the American ad art of the 1920s, and the current new-millennium acrobatics of digital type.” First letters of Ministry comes from a how-to lettering book but immediately turned on a complex and modern new digital typeface design with thousand glyphs. American Uncial™ was designed by Victor Hammer in 1943. Uncial typefaces consist of letter forms of the Capitalis Monumentalis and the majescule cursive. The origins of Uncial faces date back to the 5th century. In 1953, American Uncial was expanded to include some new figures, also designed by Hammer, and was rereleased by Klingspor with the name Neue Hammer Unziale. The forms are based on old scripts in books of antiquity and the early Middle Ages and the font is a new variation of a classic. Neue Hammer Unziale font has been a favorite for certificates and diplomas and is recommended for headlines and shorter texts in a point size of 12 or larger.

The Orbi type system is a low contrast antiqua of elegant design with a well developed set of members. It consists of 10 roman and italic faces of different proportions and weights and 3 decorative calligraphic fonts. It also contains 3 additional fonts with various decorated initials. The roman includes small capitals. Thanks to its variety of styles the font is suitable for a wide range of applications - the basic styles are good for books and periodicals; the narrow styles work well in the columns and tables of business papers; the decorative styles are ideal for ceremonial typography where swashes, calligraphy and initials are usual. Xylo is a rugged, no-nonsense typeface that was originally designed in 1924 by the Benjamin Krebs type foundry in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Even back then, Xylo must have been very popular; the design made it at least as far as England. In 1995, after finding its design in an old London printer's reference book, the Letraset Type Studio faithfully converted Xylo into digital format. A time-proven display face, Xylo will convey a feeling of power and strength in any application. Birdcage was designed from a very short lettering sample in Rob Roy Kelly's American Wood Type book, from the image I created a complete font plus a regular version with lowercase. In the past banner style fonts would limit you to a monospaced look, so how do you kern a banner font? The English stone carver, artist, and typographer Eric Gill conceived the Joanna typeface as a personal design for use in books printed at his Joanna Press."" Gill saw his press work there as a continuation of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, pioneered in the 19th Century by William Morris. Joanna is notable for its almost vertical ""upright"" italics, and the unusally small size of its italic characters. Joanna is versatile and extremely legible. The letterforms are a bit narrow, so the face is very economic as well. A lot of text may be packed densely together onto a page with Joanna. Joanna mixes very well with other typefaces designed by Eric Gill; especially Gill Sans.

The Pergamon series is a creation of Alfons Schneider (1890–1946) and was issued by the foundry of Ludwig Wagner in Leipzig in 1937/1940, though the website of the Klingspor-Museum says that several of the faces were probably produced after the death of Schneider. This digital version is extended with the necessary OT characters and signs, while also the “символы кириллицы” are added. Also, in addition to the members of the family designed by Schneider, regular, italic, bold and bold italic extended versions were produced. The specimens of Ludwig Wagner stated emphatically: “In allen Graden werden beide K K geliefert”, so these two forms are in all the faces, while the two condensed members also have k k, as the specimens said that this alternative character was also in these two faces.

The design approach from this humanist sans-serif is much more simple and neutral than Lisboa Tamil (lacks the hook-head terminals). Latin transliteration characters were also included.
