The font also has a variable version. 573 glyphs, including 40 alternate characters. A lot of work has been done on the font. The fillets on the symbols have been well worked out and tested for a better visual and practical experience. The font combines the monospacing of many characters combined with kerning, which makes it very convenient for many purposes, such as vertical typography. The font is good in all sizes, both small and large, which makes it possible to use it anywhere. Hollywood Revue JNL gets its design inspiration and name from a vintage movie poster for "The Hollywood Revue of 1929". The letter style shows early Art Deco influences, yet the hand lettering was done in the late 1920s toward the end of the Art Nouveau period. MGM produced this early "talkie" all-star musical with a cast that included Jack Benny, John Gilbert, Conrad Nagel, Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton, Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer, Polly Moran and many others. This is the motion picture where Cliff ("Ukelele Ike") Edwards introduced "Singin' in the Rain" (composed by Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown). Years later, Freed was a producer at MGM and gathered up many of the songs he and Brown wrote during the 1920s to form the musical core of the 1952 Gene Kelly-Debbie Reynolds-Donald O'Conner musical "Singin' in the Rain".

1913 Typewriter Carbon is the bold version of GLC foundry's 1913 Typewriter. It is available in two styles: Normal, and Underlined (Bold). It is a complete alphabetic font. It is used as variously as web-site titles, posters design or books editing. It may be preferable, if possible, when printing, to choose a pale color - dark grey instead of heavy black, for exemple - to give a good appearance, just like the real one, and still benefit from the full details. A while back I created a nice font called Harimau. It is a childish font, with a happy feel to it. Harimau had some unusual glyphs, most notably the 'g' and the 'j', which, for some designers, were a little too unusual. Therefore I have created a new font based on the old Harimau: it is similar, but comes with 'normal' glyphs.

Overland Trail JNL is Jeff Levine Fonts’ interpretation of “Italian”, first introduced in 1821 by the Caslon & Catherwood Type Foundry. Unique and somewhat similar to Faux Pas JNL with its eccentric stroke weights (opposite what is considered normal for serif fonts), the typeface features a design most associated with the Old West. Overland Trail JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Cast Shadow JNL uses the same wood type as found in Trade Printer JNL and adds to it a cast shadow in right or left versions for a bold and unique look. Both fonts have limited character sets and should be used in point sizes larger than normally chosen to compensate for the visual discrepancy due to the cast shadow's effects.
