Insan, designed by Ihsan Al-Hammouri in 2005, is a modern Arabic typeface in three different weights. The design is based on simplified Naskh with a very low modulated stroke treatment. It is suited for text settings, especially in brochures and magazines. It is characterized by a large body height and open counters and as such can be used in small sizes. The font includes a matching Latin design and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.

Lithium is a set of symbols coming from different communicative context but designed to be used together. It's like turning on 5 radios trying to understand the mixture of sounds. Lithium was created, above all, to present this kind of sensation using images. Obviously, the result is chaos in lowercase text. Lithium represents the overload of images we are subjected to. With advertising no longer working like in past years, we end up seeing nothing but noise. FF Mode 01 is created with similar concept.

Barkanon is not your ordinary humanist sans serif typeface. Blending modern styling with classic humanist flow creates a bold and captivating look. Barkanon is great for headings, body copy, logos, etc. Barkanon was picked to be a part of the 2024 Typodarium and an early version of the font was featured on James Edmonson's (Oh No Type Co) YouTube channel Barkanon covers 96 languages, 9 styles plus italics, with stylistic alternates, ligatures, and other opentype features.

Victoriana arose from an inquiry from the Victorian Society for a Victorian font for their journal. As it turned out, no commission resulted, but interest in such a font was aroused in Andy Benedek. Basing the design on some woodblock letterforms, outlines of a basic set of characters were drawn. These, however, were modified to the extent that the final font bore little resemblance to the woodblock letterforms. As erstwhile cyclists, the font was named after the British and champion world track cyclist, Victoria Pendleton who was greatly admired.

Approach Mono is the fixed width version of Approach. A utilitarian low contrast font, a bit mechanical but plenty of character. This version shares its main features with the original one, but it has a more prominent and visible punctuation. The more obvious use of a mono would be in tables, programming code or “in progress texts”, but not just that. When my Taiji teacher gave all of his students a handwritten card with their name on I noticed that he had an unusual and beautiful handwriting. The motivation to develop a new mono-Phoenica family was that I was not satisfied with monospaced fonts in programming code, or simply in e-mail correspondence. LUAZERVA is a font that is quite unique because the base is a classic serif font with the Victorian genre, why is it unique, because this font has a characteristic that is broken and loses the thin body of the letter itself, so besides being unique this font also has a rather difficult readability. So this font is really a display font that is not suitable for making long text. Matthew Carter’s Miller is a seminal reinvigoration of the 19th-century Scotch Roman, serving forthright, authoritative body copy and headlines since 1997. Miller Text has always been the epitome of a reliable publication workhorse. Alongside the three-quarter-height Scotch numerals, Miller Text includes optional oldstyle and lining figures, each with appropriately aligned currency and other symbols. A complete set of fractions, with arbitrary superiors and inferiors, is also included. Miller Text features an Extended Latin character set, which covers all major languages and dialects written with the Latin alphabet.

Nimbussant Bresslo is a contemporary sans and attipic unicase were lowercase alternates with smallcaps creating an unusual look that can be used in posters, logo design and headings or small bold plain texts. This grotesque typeface supports most of the latin based languages and also kyrillic and greek alphabets. For a plus of a modern and young appeal, some of the letters have a very sharp, straight and minimalist body design but you may find also their stylistic alternates to better emulate the look you find more appropiate for your design.

Romford Stencil is a Brexit inspired typeface. It’s letterforms represent the idea of a union splitting apart and the stylistic differences between the upper and lower case symbolise the notion of being different from one another. Research for this typeface started off in Romford which is an area where the majority of UK voters wanted to leave the European Union, hence the name. Romford Stencil is designed to be readable for body copy and look impressive when used as a display typeface. However, the bigger it's size the better it looks, especially in all capitals.

A book in the library of University of Wisconsin caught David Berlow’s attention. It was set in a clear text face - a predecessor of Bookman, cast by the Western Type Foundry who called it Custer. Upon noting how well the typeface worked in 6 and 7 points, he developed it into a member of the Reading Edge series specifically designed for small text on screen. Custer RE was a broad and approachable typeface drawn large on the body with a tall x-height to maximize its size when set very small.

Linotype Fresh Ewka is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This fun font was designed by Polish artist Dariusz Nowak-Nova and each letter seems to be a work in itself. The fine hair lines are decorated with tiny squares and look like wires with nodes while the thicker strokes have indefinite contours and seem to have been made with a thick brush. Linotype Fresh Ewka is suitable for headlines in large point sizes.
