Stettinum Nicodemus Pro is a project to revitalize lettering from tenement houses in Szczecin. The project includes the digitization of letter remains from ul. Kaszubska in Szczecin to form functional fonts. The main idea of the project was to preserve the disappearing remnants of Szczecin's typographic past, which, despite the span of glyphs limited by time, can be an inspiration for many future extensions of the already established family. Stettinum Nicodemus Pro Sansum is a family of typefaces consisting of 7 variations. The block structure with a regular structure and a relatively high minuscule allows for many different applications. Versions 700, 800 and 900 are intended for titles, headings and emphasis, typefaces 300 to 600 are text typefaces.

Mermer font family is a contemporary take on Roman capitals in six weights. The font name is the Serbian word for marble, and the inspiration for its creation comes from chiseled street signs in Istria. With lowercase and Cyrillic added, it gets a broader range of usages. The Dutch word “leuk" translates loosely to English as pleasant, jolly, funny, witty, clever, nice, sweet, kind, nice, amusing, entertaining, and funny. Leuk, the font, is a small, highly legible font with a witty, sociable personality that engages it’s readers. My challenge in designing Leuk was to find a unique feature to set apart the font without losing the fundamentals of type design. In the process of doing so, I created a virtual font “smile and wink” in the “o” upper and lowercase with integrated stencil-connecting strokes within the “a,e, k, z, o, ß” to reveal Leuk’s calligraphic roots. Legible and friendly, Leuk is designed for use in advertising, brochures, promotion, book cover design, packaging, and the like. Debs was inspired by a thank you note sent from one of my friends to another. The recipient liked the handwriting so much that he passed the note on to me after having asked permission from Debs, the writer. I enjoyed the vigor and looseness of the handwriting, as well as admiring its legibility and style. Created with the needs of branding design in mind, Jan Hendrik Weber's Unitext is a crisp, clean typeface that functions well across print and online use. It blends humanist and grotesque qualities, adopting a style that the designer describes as “neo grotesque”. Narrow spacing is what sets this typeface apart, however it also uses open counters and angled details to boost readability. “The ideal font should work at every touchpoint,” says Weber. “And designers shouldn’t need an introduction or a set of rules on how to handle this typeface. Informative is a typeface consisting of a whole family of sans fonts and a collection of thematic pictograms. This combination of two different types of communication reflects the current need for using text and images as means of conveying information in a complementary way. Stubble is a distressed grunge font with many useful variations that make things easy. It comes in both a Regular and Bold version, and a Smudged version as if the print block has slipped a little bit just at the vital moment. Also there’s 2 jumbled versions with the letters and numbers, and some punctuation, at odd angles and slightly off-whack; there’s 2 versions with little bits of overprint on most of the main characters (as if the corners of the block or stamp have just caught the paper); a couple of Caps Only versions; plus condensed and expanded versions of the main faces. The Bold version is not an exact expanded version of the Regular version, please note, the characters are different (i.e. the misprinting is different) in the two weights. Western and Central European accented characters are included, and there’s a set of replacements for double-letter combinations such as bb, dd and OO, TT, so that 2 different letters will appear - which avoids having exactly the same grunge letter appearing twice in succession (20 or more pairings for each case, all the pairings that reasonably exist) which work as ligature replacements. The whole family constitutes a comprehensive package that offers a great variety of ways of presenting a grunge typeface for display, headlines and posters, while maintaining the thread of the same sans-serif style. The zip package contains both the TTF and OTF versions of the font. Install only one version on the same machine, installing both versions may produce all sorts of erratic behavior.

A free flowing and loose handwritten style, with the occasional double lines - and with quite elaborate and decorative initials. Feminine, but sloppy - an interesting combination. I have regularized the stroke thicknesses and modified a couple of the letterforms to make them less ambiguous. Some kerning and spacing completes the workover, together with our extensive language support. Wolby is a rough and organic hand drawn typefamily which draws inspiration from a variety of sources such as sign painting, hand lettering, comic books, cartoons, health food, sticks and stones to name a few. The Aspasia is a decorative low contrast sans serif type family suited both for editorial and corporate design, available in five weights, ranging from Thin to Black. It was designed by Mikus Vanags in 2009 influenced by art-deco geometric typefaces and mastered for the needs of today. The Aspasia OpenType fonts have and extended character set to support Central/Eastern European languages like Polish, Czech and Latvian. Philadelphian is a revival of a MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan font from 1867 by the same name. The regular version with shadow outline was the only style that was offered in 1867. We've taken the original design further by creating two additional weights of medium and bold plus plain black versions. The medium and bold weights are unique because only the horizontal strokes increase in thickness while the vertical strokes remain the same in each weight. Philadelphian Nite is the plain black version of this font family, Nite is the casual spelling of the word Night meaning dark or black. In the late 1800's Philadelphian was a very popular typeface which can be seen on many billheads and letterheads through the early 1900's. If you're looking for a western style font that doesn't look like any other then Philadelphian is the right choice. While the name doesn't remind you of the cowboy genre we've kept the original name for historical reasons because this font was so popular in its day. We plan on going forward with a weathered version of Philadelphian which will be released under a southwestern style name. Old Dreadful No. 7 is truly a unique typeface design. Bitstream’s designers and other employees all contributed individual letterforms to the character set. This typeface is definitely not recommended for long blocks of texts! David Robbins expanded his contribution of the capital I into a complete typeface, Eyeballs.

Another beautiful script design by German type designer Ralph M. Unger. Atramant is casual and easy, ideal for any setting in larger sizes. Still, due to its excellent legibility, it can also be used for short text blocks in smaller sizes. Atrament was originally designed for the URW++ FontForum.

The Stomp Family is a set of three different fonts, Swirl, Flowers and Circles which are designed to be used with Stomp Black to create dual colored type for bright and exciting images.
