Mak is a display font with a Ukrainian feeling inspired by Ukrainian music. This is a big update of the first free two styles of Mak (SemiBold High & Black High) that were created in 2019 and become widespread among free display fonts. The big update wasn't been only adding more weights and contrasts but also changing a lot of glyphs and adding new ones. Now Mak supports all Latin-based languages and European Cyrillic. Experiments with historical forms, contrasts, and daring shapes to create a new image of Ukrainian Cyrillic and Latin based on it.

Plastilin type family of two weights obtained its name due to the soft, curved, stroke terminals of characters (J, K, L, R and others) and the little pointed serifs, as if extruded from stroke plastic mass. The character set has a lot of additional Latin and Cyrillic ligatures, as well as several alternate letter forms. Plastilin was designed for ParaType by Oleg Karpinsky in 2005. It is for use both in display setting and short text passages. In 2008 the author added two weights (Light and Black) and improved letterforms of some characters.

Ljubljana was inspired by art deco lettering seen in Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. It includes the Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets. It is named after the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana is unicase, composed of as few basic glyphs as possible. The basic glyphs are shown in black, and the derived or duplicated glyphs in grey. Ljubljana attempts to encapsulate the essence of both upper and lower case designs in a single glyph. There was a big climate protest in Amsterdam a couple of days ago. During Greta’s speech, a man jumped onto the stage and grabbed her microphone, because he didn’t approve of what she was saying. Some English media referred to him as ‘the stage invader’, which I really liked. Long story short: I made a ‘protest-ish’ font, using cheap black finger paint from the local store and a brush from my kids. The result is a rather unique font called Stage Invader. Originally Mamontov has been inspired by poster (usually wooden) types of the end of 19th—the beginning of 20th centuries. The type family was named after Savva Ivanovich Mamontov (1841-1918), Russian industrialist and patron of the arts. Massive asymmetric serifs, stocky proportions, type weight... are traces of harsh imperial reality. And soft forms of ovals, exaggerated compensators, humanistic curves of serifs and horizontal strokes betray the sensitivity and artistry of Savva Ivanovich. Mamontov has 25 styles, ranging from Light to Black and from Condensed to Wide, with more than 1000 characters per font.

A few scant examples of some condensed Roman style water-applied decals inspired Sign Letters JNL. The decals were once part of the gold and black "Signmaker" letters and numbers once manufactured by the Duro Decal Company of Chicago and were sold through hardware and variety stores across the country. The condensed letters (which were eight inches in height) did not sell as well as Duro's mainstay sizes of 1/2 inch to 3-1/2 inches and were discontinued long before the rest of the line was supplanted by self-adhesive lettering.

On the Town JNL is a reworking of Parks Department JNL, giving it a classic "solid black Art Deco treatment".
