Malou Verlomme designed Madera with graphic designers in mind – drawing on his decade of experience designing bespoke type to create a versatile, easy-to-use geometric sans serif that ticks off a long list of branding requirements. Its sharp apexes add some flavour to the design, which offers an honest, trustworthy tone of voice – but with a twist. “The design doesn’t go out of its way to attract attention, but is still very solid,” explains Verlomme. “It still has a fair amount of warmth and personality, in a very understated manner. If you’re a large corporation, with a typeface being used in many different environments, you want something that’s easy to use but can sustain such a large amount of visibility.” The Madera typeface family has 32 fonts: Upright, Condensed and Italics. Each typeface contains over 650 glyphs with extensive Western, Central and Eastern European language support. It also supports OpenType typographic features like alternatives, ligatures and fractions. Madera Variables are font files which are featuring two axis and have a preset instance from Hairline to Extra Black.

Pendulum is the much-anticipated digitization and swashy expansion of Americana, an amazing yet long overlooked treasure from the Nebiolo foundry, circa 1945. With heavy descenders and seemingly floating ascenders emanating from one of the most classical attempts at connected upright calligraphy, never did a font have this much charm and complexity at once. To complement the beauty of the original letters, Pendulum comes with two additional sets of swashed ending lowercase we call Swings. These Swings help Pendulum become a fantastic calligraphic plate making tool, as well as a great personalizing headline font. Plenty of alternates and extra custom endings are included for extra choice and variety. The OpenType version of Pendulum comes with the Swings included in the stylistic alternates and contextual alternates features. Vinho De Amora is a truly vintage serif font. Drawn by Mans Greback between 2019 and 2021, this font is created with inspiration from wine cellars, painted typography and genuine quality produce. A Roman typeface with emphasized triangular serifs. A font like this one could have been designed in 18th century France. To some extent, Auxerre is a precursor of “Etienne,” which later became popular as an advertising typeface of the 19th century. Auxerre is available in five font weights: light, regular, semibold, bold and black. Auxerre supports Western and Central European languages including Scandinavian languages. Plus, the font includes lots of ligatures, tabular figures as well as a “Capital German Double S.” Auxerre fits perfectly with any topic related to the past two centuries. It also works amazingly well on technical issues. And of course it fits very well with topics of fine art and art history.

Terrance Weinzierl's Terry Junior typeface is a perfectly imperfect design – one that retains the marks of the brush used to create it and harks back to the craft required to hand make letterforms. Originally drawn during a Monotype Font Marathon, Weinzierl later refined the typeface digitally – adding an Inline version and designing alternates that replicate the irregularity of real-life brush scripts. “It has a natural, cheery and bold appearance,” says designer Terrance Weinzierl. “It's young, but not wild. Painted, but not sloppy. A sign painter's apprentice, perhaps.” Terry Junior is an obvious choice for designers and brands communicating with younger audiences, but would also work well on book covers, packaging, and in digital environments that need a little bit of extra playfulness. The family includes five fonts, including an Inline version.

Newsreel Caps JNL is a novelty caps-only outline letter with cast shadow set inside film frames. Although the design idea itself is not new, this version is based on lettering from a vintage piece of sheet music for a song featured in the movie "Fox Movietone Follies". The font is a wink and nod to Fox's long-running newsreel series called "Fox Movietone News". The upper case keys have black letters on a white frame, while the lower case keys have white letters on a black frame. A blank white frame is on the period key; a blank black frame is on the comma key. Use this font for individual initials, set the characters loose for effect or set them tight (as provided) for a continuous film strip.

Romanovsky is the font developed on the base of samples from the catalogue of Osip Lehman foundry in Sankt Petersburg. Original Latin design that was used for Romanovsky can be found in Feder Grotesk by Jacob Erbar. The current digital font is not a scanned version of Lehman’s samples but a newly drawn typeface that differs from the original in many details. Romanovsky is a sans serif typeface with narrow proportions and noticeable contrast. It will be good for headings and display matters. Character set covers languages of Western and Central Europe and Cyrillic-based languages. It also contains around 20 ligatures of uppercase letters for the most frequent combinations. Designed by Vasily Biryukov. The bold weight was developed together with Olexa Volochay. Released by ParaType in 2013.

In 1885 Heinrich Wallau, printer and typographer in Mainz, picked up the idea of creating a rounded gothic font written with a broad nib. This idea was then realized by Rudolf Koch between 1925 and 1930. RMU Wallau is a bringing back this beautiful font for present typography.

From the pages of the 1939 French lettering book “Modèles de lettres modernes par Georges Léculier” (“Models of Modern Lettering”) comes an attractive and unusual set of initial drop caps made from square letters adorned with multiple vertical lines. Originally designed as white letters on black backgrounds, an additional set with black letters on white backgrounds comprise Deco Drop Caps JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Keep up that great western tradition with Buckle Bold! Buckle was created to be a contemporary twist to old "cowboy" fonts. It is bold while retaining a narrow width. When reduced down, it has a slightly worn look caused by the reduced double diamonds inside the capitals - which does not look out of place at all.

Apparata is a versatile display and text typeface suitable for identities or magazines. With a rounded finish, some characters have a combination of diagonal and curve strokes. Mariachi is a new condensed version of our Maison Luxe font which is a revival of an old 1800's classic ornate French font. This new 2021 condensed version takes this old classic to an all new level by adding small caps, italics and a new solid black version. Mariachi is perfect for headlines and logos from advertising to product labels, t-shirt lettering and restaurant menus. Fill fonts are also part of this family, new to this font style is the half fill font for creating a two color effect on the letters, you'll need an application that works in layers to use the fill fonts in Mariachi. The regular fill font for Mariachi isn't meant to be used as a stand alone font so we've created a solid black version with thicker serifs on top and adjusted outlines throughout for a better appearance as a solo font. The difference between Mariachi and our Mi Casa font is that Mariachi has a squared off shadow on the top half of the letters. We hope you enjoy Mariachi as much as we did making it. Inspired by 15th century Venetian italic book texts and based on examples from volumes on the history of type. Fourteen64 has a rugged charm and lots of character featuring 'Roman' capitals with italic lowercase. Includes alternate characters, extra ligatures and a small selection of medieval ornaments.

Gritty heat-forge stamped metally goodness. Can withstand up to 255 pounds of pressure psi, it even says so right on the graphic. This is a fun display font inspired by the stamped text on barbells, sewer drains, and of course boiler-plates, not that we see many of those anymore, but I digress... This font contains all the standard sub-255 unicode characters, plus a few extras for flavor. Apply this font with liberal amounts of axle grease and she should last ya a lifetime.

Spanish Main is a revival of an old MacKeller Smiths & Jordan font named Sloping Black. Like most foundries MacKeller Smiths & Jordan doesn't display all the letters of the fonts in their specimen books so it took a little more time to find the complete character set for this old beautiful classic font. New in this version is the addition of a Greek character set which is experimental as you normally don't see Old English style fonts include a Greek alphabet.

Sales Event JNL is an inline sans that was modeled from examples of old wood type. Its casual, cheerful style well suits point-of-sale signage or banners, fun headlines and relaxed themes. The font is available in both the regular inline version and the black (solid) version.
