Citadina font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2016. It is a sans serif typeface with a geometrical, mechanic, neutral appearence and a slightly condensed design which makes it particularly effective for space economizing. It has been conceived to be most suitable for short and middle length text blocks, as well as on all sized headlines. Citadina consists of 12 styles. Each containing small caps and glyph coverage for several languages.

Victualia - casual, hand drawn (Wacom, illustrator) brush font. "Ligatures" have been created for some double letters to enhance the illusion of handwritten text. Victualia was initially created in 2005 as part of a course that I attended to At Berghs , but has now been given a face lift as well as a full set of special characters.

The Classic Charles Rennie Mackintosh Font. Created in 1993, the timeless beauty of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s letterforms is now available at MyFonts for the first time. Often imitated, but never bettered, this font has been used in various projects all over the globe, enjoying the limelight of Hollywood when it was requested for use in Sam Raimi’s second “Spider Man” adventure. A form of this font has subsequently been used for the TV series “An American Horror Story”.

This typeface was originally designed in 1930 by W.A. Dwiggins as the cover for the book American Alphabets by Paul Hollister. Only the 26 letters of the alphabet were included on the cover, so the rest of the numbers, punctuation, symbols, and accented characters have been crafted in a matching style. This strongly geometric Art Deco lettering style has been lovingly revived and is now available as an OpenType font. Over 3,300 kerning pairs are included.

Mensura Slab font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2013. Hazelton is a neo-humanist typeface inspired by the explorations and development of early British sans-serif typography. Six weight have been developed for Hazelton. The lighter weights are loosely inspired by Edward Johnston’s Underground typeface. The heavier weights glean inspiration from Stephenson Blake’s Granby. Sharp, pointed terminals that are indicative of British typography have been omitted in favour of a more modern sensibility. Subtle humanist characteristics become more exaggerated as the typeface increases in weight, making the lighter weights practical for text purposes and the heavier weights ideal for display use. A unique set of numerals have been developed to infuse them with a humanist quality that is often lacking when typesetting technical data. The result is a diverse typeface that is as powerful as it is beautiful.

Classica Pro by Bernd Möllenstädt A real alternative for letterpress printing A masterpiece It was only after many years, shortly before the end of his life, Bernd Möllenstädt brought out these early drafts of his Classica Light and Light Italic from his drawer, and asked me to produce for him on the computer a Bold and Bold Italic, from which we later wanted to interpolate further cuts like Regular and so on. The boldening of letters with an oblique axis and with hairlines which should not grow to the same extent as the general line widths, is hard to cope with perfectly, even for the smartest computer program, and even more so, when it concerns an as complicated set of data as those conceived by Bernd. The automatically generated result could therefore only be a first step that had to be improved manually later. This was about the stage that we had reached when Bernd died in March 2013, leaving me behind with comprehensive corrections on proofs of this automatically generated Bold. Although I was aware that it would mean a lot of work to complete the project, I did not want to leave it unfinished and decided to finalize and publish the Classica, also in Bernd‘s honor. In the course of the two years that I worked on this font family it somewhat naturally became also my own. New details were added and some of the existing changed. A book typeface requires the supreme and forgives rarely, it represents a true masterpiece. My intention and my ambition were to create a real alternative for letterpress printing, with a font family that contains all the typographic options for an excellent typesetting, and is better readable and has a better appearance than other existing typefaces.
