Ljubljana was inspired by art deco lettering seen in Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. It includes the Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets. It is named after the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana is unicase, composed of as few basic glyphs as possible. The basic glyphs are shown in black, and the derived or duplicated glyphs in grey. Ljubljana attempts to encapsulate the essence of both upper and lower case designs in a single glyph. There was a big climate protest in Amsterdam a couple of days ago. During Greta’s speech, a man jumped onto the stage and grabbed her microphone, because he didn’t approve of what she was saying. Some English media referred to him as ‘the stage invader’, which I really liked. Long story short: I made a ‘protest-ish’ font, using cheap black finger paint from the local store and a brush from my kids. The result is a rather unique font called Stage Invader. And yes, you can use it for your protest signs too!

Leksa is an oldstyle, even a bit old-fashioned text family in 12 faces, including six upright and six italic ones, from Light to Black, with both oldstyle and tabular digits and true small caps. The typeface works best in the books of classical style, and looks good in both small and large point sizes. A few scant examples of some condensed Roman style water-applied decals inspired Sign Letters JNL. The decals were once part of the gold and black "Signmaker" letters and numbers once manufactured by the Duro Decal Company of Chicago and were sold through hardware and variety stores across the country. The condensed letters (which were eight inches in height) did not sell as well as Duro's mainstay sizes of 1/2 inch to 3-1/2 inches and were discontinued long before the rest of the line was supplanted by self-adhesive lettering.

A few fonts ago I mentioned the fact that I like posh English words; words you don’t really use in conversation. As I am busy expanding my ‘halloween’ font collection, I came across the beautiful word Nefarious. It means wicked or evil and when you say the word, it even sounds evil! Fantastic! Nefarious is a halloween/witches font. It looks like my Griezelig font, but it is rougher and spikier. Use Nefarious for your halloween invitations, posters and books about evil geniuses. Comes with all diacritics and a bunch of swashes as well.

Madley is a contemporary slab serif typeface. Featuring monolinear stems, elongated block serifs and teardrop terminals, the type family goes from a delicate Hairline weight to a heavy Black weight.
