Linotype Dummy is a part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. The Canadian artist Tad Biernot based the design of his font on optical illusions like those of M. C. Escher. I made this font using my index finger and Chinese ink. I thought the ink would come off easily, but I can tell you: it doesn’t.
