I just finished book 8 of The Expanse (by James S.A. Corey) and the name Takeshi popped up somewhere, so I decided to use it for this font family! Takeshi is a hand made set of fonts: a fat display font, a thinner complementary font and a doodle font. Enjoy!

Katelyn is a sans serif font that reflects a straight and perfect handwritten note. In being in the middle of a sans serif font and completely handwritten, it will bring and lightness and playfulness to any design. Included in the face is a set of Ornaments that enhances the youthful font.

Carbonara. Nope, it's not the pasta sauce, but a nice, grungy typewriter font, made using a pre-war typewriter, some oil and a stack of old-fashioned carbon paper sheets. You can use it to give your designs some oomph. Comes with a whole bunch of contextual and stylistic alternates.

Recta was one of Aldo Novarese’s earliest contributions to the massive surge of the European sans serif genre that was booming in the middle of the 20th century. Tuscaloosa is a hybrid script that includes Tuscan (bifurcated) serif treatments. The design of Tuscaloosa began as a set of organically-formed initials, the Tuscan serifs being reminiscent of shoots and leaves bursting forth. Tuscaloosa also derives inspiration from the late Victorian era, when the development of newspaper and poster advertising led to extremes of weight in the main strokes. The font is intended to convey an aura of excitement and fun that characterized those times! The name 'Tuscaloosa' was chosen because of the appropriate combination of 'Tuscan' and 'looseness,' and because of its essentially American character.

Vaquero is a Wild West style font. It is characteristic of a lot of western era signage, with super-narrow characters and unusual decorative spurs and serifs. There are some similarities in Vaquero to some of our other western fonts. It sort of ties together the historic tradition of western era type and the more fanciful tradition of romantic type derived from the era of the wild west. It has the width, height and general letter shapes of Academy, but the decorative elements are similar to more fanciful fonts like Riudoso. The result is very evocative of the old west.

Spiral Ornaments are of varying complexity with positive and negative variations. There are a total of 48 ornaments.

I’m a bit of a sucker for neon lights, especially in big cities. My favourite city is Tokyo, with its brightly coloured billboards and its back alleys full of neon-lit eateries. At first sight, Neon Goo is a slightly warped font, with some funny looking glyphs and a generous spacing. When you start using it, you’ll find out that the glyphs do complement each other! Neon Goo comes with all diacritics and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

Wonderhand is a new extensive family of scripts designed in seven widths and three weights. It also introduces a third design axis, the slant, presenting an upright 0° cut, a 20° cut and a 40° cut for each. Like written by different hands, each cut has a unique appearance and character. Wonderhand contains two sets of alternate characters and automatic features that imitate the natural flow of handwriting. Barley Script is a round and flowing script typeface. It is handmade by Måns Grebäck and works perfectly for logotypes and slogans. The font contains a lot of alternate characters and ligatures to make the script simulate a handpainted logo. With its hundreds of glyphs it also has support for a wide range of languages. Write underscores before any word to make an underline. Example: _Barley If your software supports ligatures, you can write multiple underscores for a longer line. Example: __Bakeries
