Vagebond is a monoline family in three widths, Condensed (C), Normal (N), and Extended (XT). With Vagebond I was inspired by a very old television I once saw on a junkyard. I wanted to create a typeface with round edges that would fit within the 4 x 3 proportion of the screen. It had to be monoline, because that gives it a very simplistic and minimalistic look. Having created the XT width I felt it needed the both complementing widths to make it complete. The Condensed version, for me, is the funky rounded version of the DIN. I love DIN, but it sometimes feels just a bit to ‘normed’ for me. Vagebond C brings in a bit more personality. Although Vagebond looks kinda ‘oldstyle’, it works very well in futuristic designs. It feels best in combination with a super futuristic 3d object.

The Mingler fonts have a great big smile and a crisp clear voice. They were originally created as a branding font for a restaurant chain to use in coupons, print ads and tv commercials. More recently this font is picking up popularity as a multi-purpose headline font for screens. It looks good on the web, in games and on-screen apps. Inspired by the subtle bends and flow of hand-painted signage, each stroke bends a bit in the middle and flairs out a bit on the ends. And look at that "e" —it is smiling!

The specimen book Alphabete: ein Schriftatlas von A bis Z identified the pattern for this typeface as Stymie Black Flair. Although neither the designer nor the original foundry is identified, it bears a strong resemblance to the work of Dave West for Photolettering in the 60s and 70s. Big, beautiful and bodacious, it’s a natural choice for attention-grabbing headlines. Many alternate characters available: see the full character map. If Mister Frisky is a bit too kooky for your project, try Woodrow. The big floppy serifs and hand-drawn strokes give this font very "Chanky" characteristics. Woodrow is bold, bouncy, fun and legible like Mister Frisky, but it is also a little more traditional and structured. Chank created Woodrow in 1997. It was named in honor of The Chank Company's first office assistant, Scott "Woodrow" Macdonald.

I really don’t like candy. In fact, I even hate the smell of candy! But… You can wake me up for caramel in any form or shape! When I was a kid, we used to get a tin of wrapped English ‘quality’ toffees for Christmas. My favourites were the big, flat chewy caramels in a bright purple wrapper! Chewy Caramel is a happy handmade font, ideal for book covers, candy wrappers and labels. Comes with double-letter ligatures for the lower case.

Yerk is another modern Y2K inspired font. This retro font comes in 3 styles regular italic and slanted. Its bold weight, squared-off letters with slightly rounded corners make it perfect for adding big impact and a bit of personality to your design. It is perfect for logos, branding, magazines, Instagram, and whatever project you are looking for.

FG Lana is a teenager with big visions and a bit naive kind of writing.

Amici means 'friends' and the Amici family was conceived as a big friendly Roman typeface for headings, posters, signs and anywhere else that an approachable easy-reading typeface is needed. It's the sort of thing you used to see in Magazine mastheads before everything went boringly sans serif. Three faces are offered within the family, Regular - solid and clear, Bold - with that bit more body and presence and italic - bringing in script elements to its design.

Lille Snemand, in Danish, means Little Snowman - like the Little Mermaid, but then colder… Lille Snemand is kin to the original Snemand font, which is an all caps typeface, but unlike its big brother, Lille Snemand comes with lowercase glyphs. It is a very legible font and has that 'unevenish' look - making it a great typeface for packaging and books.

Flamingo Plush is something you want to use when you need your statement shouted out! The large, rough and worn letters will do the job for you - all you need to do is write your message! There is a slight difference in upper- and lowercase in a kind of unicase way. Some of the lowercase letters looks a bit more worn, when mixed with uppercase makes the handmade look really stand out! Go for something big, go for Flamingo Plush!

My kids have a tin box filled with crayon and pencil leftovers: bits and pieces that have fallen or broken off, but are still good enough to use. For me it is a treasure trove, as I often find a nice bit of crayon to use for a new font. In this case, I created Leftover Crayon. Leftover Crayon is a fat, crumbling and seriously eroded crayon font. Completely hand made, completely legible and full of character. Use it for your bedtime stories, product packaging and invitations. Comes filled to the brim with diacritics.

Since Mommie I gradually got more into swirly ornaments. The massive contrast in the neoclassic style is perfect for thin swirly extensions to the characters. Even in an upright typeface. Narziss is very elegant in big headline sizes. Use it only very big.

Classic XtraRound is a companion typeface to Classic Round, designed by Ben Blom. Although Classic Round has a lot of roundness, Classic XtraRound has more. Classic XtraRound has maximum roundness — no sharp corners, anywhere. Classic XtraRound has maximum roundness — and is still legible. It can be used as an interesting workhorse in small text sizes. It makes eye-catching headlines in big display sizes. On a huge garbage bin in Lisbon I saw the sentence, “Perdidos no kaos”, which means lost in chaos and I really liked the rough stenciled lettering.
