Nidex is a caps-only industrial distressed font, ideal for titles, display and headlines, rough and ready, and coming with all the usual accented characters and an extensive set of punctuation. The misprinted effect is central to the font’s design and is built-in, simplifying the work for posters and flyers, and the example above is made with Regular and Condensed. Upper and Lower Case present 2 different sets of characters, and just a few letters are distinguishably more misprinted. Also there’s a full set of ligatures to make double-letter combinations print two different letters rather than the same one twice, from upper case A to lower case z. Rosso is a condensed geometric Sans with a retro style, inspired by various typographic styles. It features the Roslyn Gothic structure, which was popularly used for the covers of Philip K. Dick's books in the 1970s. Rosso has 10 variants from Ultra Light to Black with their respective Italics. In addition, it is divided into two Subfamilies, Normal and Alt. Danish type designer Ole Søndergaard created this sans FontFont between 2000 and 2004. The family has 30 weights, ranging from Extra Light to Ultra in Condensed, Normal and Extended (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, editorial and publishing, logo, branding and creative industries as well as wayfinding and signage. Here's a posh serif typeface and its matching italic. Glowing with elegance, Cosmetiqa can go head to head with classic evergreens like Bodoni, Didot, or Century. Dignus was inspired in two clever and famous typefaces: Bank Gothic and Microgramma. Bank Gothic designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in 1930. Microgramma typeface designed by Alessandro Butti and Aldo Novarese for Nebiolo in 1952. Those typefaces were based on a stable rectangular shape with rounded corners, denoting the constructivist heritage and technological spirit of '50. We'd intended to review that typographic scenery with our contemporary point of view, aiming to obtain the formal synthesis of the signs and increase its legibility. Galix is a technical sans designed to look futuristic without any of the retro appearance often found in this genre. It has a squarish, slightly condensed anatomy, and is characterized by thin joints and deep ink traps that add a sparkle to the otherwise monoline typeface. In the italic styles, these cuts are accentuated even more which creates a feeling of speed in the letterforms. Galix is optimized for display typography (the ascender height is the same as the cap height, and the spacing is somewhat tight) but the middle weights are very readable at smaller sizes, where I'd recommend adding a little tracking. OpenType features include ft and tt ligatures, stylistic sets/alternates, automatic fractions, tabular, superscript and subscript figures, case sensitive forms. Perfect for websites, apps, infographics, magazines and logotypes, Galix is technical but with a warmth and personality that is often missing from this genre.

CA Oskar came into being as a custom typeface for the international Traumzeit music festival. As a substantial part of the new corporate identity, it had to be characteristic, but also flexible in use. Starting with the design of compressed caps for headlines, the typeface was soon expanded by a condensed weight for setting of text and further developed into a fully functional font with two widths and two weights. Both weights are very space-efficient, which was -- apart from aesthetic considerations -- an important issue in the process of the design. CA Oskar is a mixture of industrial harshness and friendly round forms, reflecting the spirit of fusion, which is basically what the whole festival is about. Its very slim proportions in two widths make it an attractive alternative to fonts like Alternate Gothic, but CA Oskar adds an extra portion of personality and a coherent choice of weights.

A pen stroke Roman with a medium thick to thin contrast and slightly flared stroke endings. Capital was designed for all media and works best at 30 point and above. Capital requires subjective display kerning and compensation.

Dnipro is a version of experience generalization of Ukrainian decorative font creation. The generalization development was initited by Georgy Narbut and Mark Kirnarsky in the 1920s and continued in 1970-80s. Latin letters of the font have half-uncial forms, which makes it appropriate for the printing of the relevant content. Besides its decorative properties the font is easy to read and quite suitable for short texts. It is well suited for folk tales, Ukrainian and Slavic in general as well as Western European.

The Enagol Math family consists of 4 weight plus True italics. It is a typeface with rounded Slab-Serif of Semi-Condensed proportions. I have composed all the proportions of the character based on a study of mathematical proportions related to the golden sequences of Perrin, Lucas and Fibonacci. From an initial matrix of golden proportions applied in the letters 'H' for capital letters and 'n' for lowercase letters, calculated for the versions of the extremes of the Light and Bold type, below I do the whole calculation of proportions using my formula of three axes and by interpolation I generate the intermediate versions Regular and Medium. For the Italic versions I have drawn a complete set of lowercase letters that give these fonts an aspect close to the Italic writing. In these versions I have also applied many optical corrections to balance the deformations created in many curves by the mere inclination of the letters, which in the case of this type is 11°.

Smashed Typeface is a reversed-contrast, slab serif, display font. Was inspired by the old west days that we can often see in printing, circus posters and wanted notices in western movies, even tho the style was really used in many parts of the world during that period. This style is sometimes called as "circus letter" too. Was designed to have a modern look, using straighter lines and an extended style, can be used on various situations like posters, logos for restaurants, alternative business like an old washing station (as you can see on the next images), music bands etc. I believe that is a promising typography that can be used by various designers in a lot of diverse project. It counts with 226 multi language characters, one weight on version 1.0, on a next version I hope to take this project to another level, creating a variable typeface from condensed to really extended weights. It would complete this typography and eliminate the limits of use.

SoftMaker’s Cooper Black Pro is a friendly, chubby typefaces with rounded serifs and tilted back ovals. It is perfect whenever an informal, friendly character is desired in your designs. Oswald Cooper designed Cooper Black in 1919 for Barnhart Brothers & Spindler; later it was popularized by ATF. The Ampersand Forest has its first book family! Times with a Human Face: In my article of the same name which appeared in the magazine Font, volume 2000 I described the long and trying story of an order for a typeface for the Czech periodical Lidové noviny (People’s Newspaper). My task was to design a modification of the existing Times. The work, however, finally resulted in the complete re-drawing of the typeface. The assignment, which was on the whole wisely formulated, was to design a typeface which would enable “a smooth flow of information in the reader’s eye”, therefore a typeface without any artistic ambitions, from which everything which obstructs legibility would be eliminated. A year later Lidové noviny had a different manager who in the spring of 2001 decided to resume the cooperation. The typeface itself definitely profited from this; I simplified everything which could be simplified, but it still was not “it”, because the other, and obviously more important, requirement of the investor held: “the typeface must look like Times”. And that is why the above-mentioned daily will continue to be printed by a system version of Times, negligently adjusted to local conditions, which is unfortunately a far cry from the original Times New Roman of Stanley Morison. When I was designing Lido, the cooperation with the head of production of Lidové noviny was of great use to me. Many tests were carried out directly on the newspaper rotary press during which numerous weak points of the earliest versions were revealed. The printing tests have proved that the basic design of this typeface is even more legible and economical than that of Times. The final appearance of Lido STF was, however, tuned up without regard to the original assignment – the merrier-looking italics and the more daring modelling of bold lower case letters have been retained. The typeface is suitable for all periodicals wishing to abandon inconspicuously the hideous system typefaces with their even more hideous accents and to change over to the contemporary level of graphic design. It is also most convenient for everyday work in text editors and office applications. It has a fairly large x-height of lower case letters, shortened serifs and simplified endings of rounded strokes. This is typical of the typefaces designed for use in small sizes. Our typeface, however, can sustain enlargement even to the size appropriate for a poster, an information table or a billboard, as it is not trite and at the same time is moderate in expression. Its three supplementary condensed designs correspond to approximately 80% compression and have been, of course, drawn quite separately. The intention to create condensed italics was abandoned; in the case of serif typefaces they always seem to be slightly strained. I named the typeface dutifully "Lido" (after the name of the newspaper) and included it in the retail catalog of my type foundry. In order to prevent being suspected of additionally turning a rejected work into cash, Lido STF in six designs is available free of charge. I should not like it if the issuing of this typeface were understood as an “act out of spite” aimed against the venerable Times. It is rather meant as a reminder that there really are now alternatives to all fonts in all price categories.
