Bornholm Sandvig is named after the village, "Sandvig", on the only rocky island in Denmark, Bornholm. It is the second face in a series of rough stone cut typefaces, that shares proportions, but differs in any other aspect like different pieces of rock. It is a powerful face, but still very friendly. Good for very big sizes, but can be used for small texts, movie titles, cartoons, etc.

Mysterious is a bit of an unusual font. It looks old fashioned, but it comes with cool stylistic alternates, it could be a didone, but it is not (really), it looks formal, but it is rather scary. Mysterious was more or less based on the titling pages of 17th century atlases and my own twisted imagination. It comes with a whole bunch of ligatures and stylistic alternates, plus extensive language support.

Arkit is a ‘constructivist’ sans with a humanistic taste. Its geometric look hides an organic soul that can be felt rather than seen, as for instance in the strokes that are slightly tapered. Arkit features a big x-height and is suitable for signage and for many display applications, but it also performs well as a book face both in body copy and in captions and small-size texts.

This version of Goudy Text is based on drawings from which Frederic Goudy based his Goudy Text typeface. However, there is a big difference between his original drawings (in The Alphabet and Elements of Lettering) and the subsequent metal type version, and my version maintains the greater warmth (and irregularities) of the original drawings. Goudy's Lombardy caps look especially nice when used as initial capitals with Goudy Text.

The "Line" style of "I am online with u" font family was inspired by the idea of the digital connection of two people living in different parts of the world. Macbeth is a heavy, condensed Art Deco-style typeface from Linotype. Macbeth includes some particularly noteworthy diagonal elements -- these enliven the design and give typeface its overall character. Macbeth should be used for music-oriented applications, or anything that is both reminiscent of the early 20th Century and a bit spooky. The letters in Macbeth are quite similar to display style found on Frankenstein posters, and those of other early films.

Kazootie was inspired by cut-paper shapes and named after the hand puppet character Rootie Kazootie in a 1950s children's television show. Kazootie is a light-hearted and fun display font with a big, strong voice and crisp confident stride. Say hello to Suerte. This new typeface with inverted contrast and bifurcated serifs was inspired by Caslon’s Italian type and by Aldo Novarese’s Estro, published by the turinese foundry Nebiolo. Our aim was to develop a wood type typeface adding a new personality incorporating Tuscan serifs. The complete alphabet was designed with a flat long brush and Indian ink and then vectorized. Suerte contains a big set of icons and dingbats.

DBXLZX was inspired by the logo of the ZX Spectrum home computer, released in 1982 by Sinclair Research. For many designers the 8-bit pixel grid of the ZX Spectrum was one of the first steps into the realm of digital design. DBXLZX was initially developed by DBXL into a three weight family for use on the Armind record label of world famous trance deejay Armin van Buuren.

Stateside is a bold condensed serif with a vintage feel. It has an urban and, I like to think, urbane character which puts me in mind of classic Thirties architecture like the Rockefeller Centre or the Empire State Building. I did consider calling it Rockefeller, but the family might think it a bit of a liberty, and I can’t afford to get into a copyright battle with them!

Graphen family is a hand drawn typeface with 5 different weights. This font contains script that replaces glyphs with their alternates. It is based on checking the same glyphs in close range - not on a random appearance. Every weight was designed with attention to detail, so it can be used in small sizes and even on big posters. Weights include different features, such as dingbats or old style figures.

Boo Boo Kitty is a blocky font with a halftone style gradient texture. One of the big inspirations for this font was retro comic printing so I tried to keep the background slightly messy to capture that look. It was originally released in 1997 as an all-caps font with mixed plain and textured characters but was recently updated it to include lowercase letters and full versions of both background options.

Funkadelity is a funky breed between 60ies poster typography and 80ies grafitti. Maybe even inspired a bit by comic book lettering! Funkadelity wants to burn off the dance floor and show off the fancy dance moves - at the same time, it want to show off the smooth and clean lines of the letters. Originally handdrawn, but I digitally remastered every single letter, leaving the curves smooth and clean!

Oodles of doodles! Altogether brings not two or three, but eight - yep! - flavours for each letter. Original, creative, authentic flavours. Sometimes sweet, sometimes fun, sometimes weird.
