In late 1988 or early 1989 I noticed that the circular form of the sickle and the linear form of the hammer could be used to form all the letters of the alphabet. The result of that realization was RedLetter, a novelty or letterbat font. It is caps-only with the lower-case letters containing smaller versions of upper-case letters.

Stop is a heavy futuristic sans serif display font, designed by the famed Italian type designer Aldo Novarese. Stop's forms are vaguely stencil-like, and some of them only read as letters when used in combination with each other. Nevertheless, Stop has a real computer-technology" feel to its design. It should be used exclusively for headlines or logo work."

What would a typeface look like that used a gothic arch, a feature of medieval architecture, as its motif? I decided to find out and the result was not beautiful but frightful. GothicHorror uses a pointed arch almost everywhere that it can be used and is unlike anything else. It is ugly, but for some uses that ugliness is a virtue.

Lucilee is a full featured, OpenType script font from Michael Clark. Anultra Slab is an ultra bold accompanying typeface.

Canoe is a fun, all-caps font with a delightfully hand-written feel. It comes “water ready” to be used in the wild on the web, save the dates, and other design projects that need a homemade touch. This serif typeface was designed to be simple and neutral on text sizes, there descender proportions are short and the x-height is large. The lowercase italics contain different structure from roman characters, but the most differentiation detail is the fact the ascender and descender strokes don’t contain serifs. Italics characters are slightly more narrow and condensed than roman letterforms.
