A heavy-set but lively font, Kendrick’s dense strokes were hand-painted using a thick wet brush. This all-caps set of letters is bold but brushy, textured and expressive; fun but very much meaning business. Kendrick is streetwise and no-nonsense, but with a big cheesy grin to boot.

I love riding English double decker buses! I haven’t been on one lately, but for some reason I had an image of a red double decker bus in my head when I made this font. Doubledecker is a bold, cartoon-like, handmade font. It comes in regular and dots, plus a bonus doodle font called Doubledecker Stuff. Use it for any design that needs a tad of loud, a pinch of unusual and a wee bit of polka.

Penicillin is a psuedo thematic/destructive typestyle, looking more like a grunge/deteriorated or stencil typestyle, but actually a typestyle made to look as if formed of bacteria cells. Fleete is a modern homage to the many late 19th century typefaces; often used for book titles, posters and newspaper headlines; which have an extreme contrast between hairline horizontal stems and serifs and heavy vertical stems. Greater Albion Typefounders have taken this basic idea, to be found across very many faces of the period and used just that one concept as the basis of a new typeface design, which manages to be elegant yet modern all at once. IF you need something for a section heading which stands out from body text, this is the font family for you. If you need headings on a poster or large scale web-page headings, this is the face you should try. VLNL Beatbox is a solid tech heavy straight stencil-face with a lot of character. It was originally designed as a logo for dj Markus Schultz back in 2004, who rejected it. His management couldn't read it, or thought people wouldn’t be able to read it. But Chef Donald DBXL found the concept interesting enough to finish it and has used it in many projects since. It was the identity font for the Battle of Amsterdam, a talent showcase in beat boxing and other skills. Beatboxing is a style of hiphop music (beats) made with the mouth and a microphone. A box is a handy container to store stuff. Like food, or fonts. We use a lot of boxes at the VetteLetters office. VLNL Beatbox is best deployed big, like in logos or headlines. Or flyers, album covers, posters and signage. As a display and headline typeface it’s got a lot of character. We could definitely see it painted on the side of a tank, or an airplane. Chipperly is a brand new face inspired by the art of the Edwardian poster, especially travel posters. It’s good for clear ad legible headings which need a gentle and unobtrusive period touch, and is the latest is Greater Albion’s line of faces to explore the ‘small capitals’ idea. In its regular weight, Chipperly’s glyphs are semi-shaded within an outer outline giving a distinctive look, while the Heavy weight maintains the separate outline but is completely filled. What can I say? I like fonts with stars. Space Time is a hand drawn font with a lot of variety. I started designing the regular version with the characters slightly touching but it wasn't quite what I had in my head. I’d imagined tightly spaced letters with overlapping shadows and the only way to get that effect was to create a second version with stackable layers. That means this download includes regular, base, outline, shadow, and stars files. Plus, the base and outline can be used for stacking or work fine as standalone fonts. This font is all caps but the lowercase letters feature alternative styles.

Freight Display kicks it up another notch from the Freight Text family with more open counters and a bit more contrast. Those warmer proportions give balance for easily read headlines, running heads, and subheads while still standing tall if reversed-out at smaller sizes.
