Caleb Mono Font Family It is originally inherited from Caleb Grotesk. And, It is a reinterpretation of the proportional and grotesque sensibility of Glphs with a more modern and rarity feeling. Monospace fonts are a great choice for any designer who wants to create a retro, and minimalist feel. The disadvantages of ambiguous readability due to its wide width and mechanical placement are clearly present, but still attractive and elegant. To overcome these shortcomings, this font family gave variable side bearing values to each glyph and adjusted the width of the glyphs themselves. It is designed with a more human sensibility.

Bucintoro is a modern version of the rotunda blackletter, the Gothic book hand of Italy and Spain in the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. As the name implies, it's more "rotund" than the tall, angular Textur blackletter used in Germany that Gutenberg imitated. While the use of blackletter continued far into the 20th century in Germany and Scandinavia, the rotunda gave way to roman (and later also italic) letterforms in Italy, France, and Spain. It's less well known these days. Bucintoro has upper- and lowercase alphabets, numerals, punctuation, diacritics but lacks such modern characters as currency symbols. Has light, medium, and black weights.

Iowan Old Style Titling was designed by John Downer and added to the Iowan Old Style family in 2002. The cap-only character set includes several ornaments and fleurons, broadening the appeal and functionality of the typeface family. Dionisio, a CastleType original, takes its inspiration from one of the overlooked treasures of the CastleType library: Ransahoff. The latter is extremely condensed and very elegant. I particularly like its hairline slab serifs and cross-bars. I decided to use it as a starting point for a new design, but to make the proportions more classic and to make it more sensuous with gentler curves and bracketed cross-bar serifs. The result is very Bodoni-like, but less extreme and more contemporary looking. Meanwhile, Dionisio maintains a hint of Ransahoff with condensed letterforms and very fine serifs. Dionisio brings together the best of both, making it the perfect choice where a slender, sophisticated typeface is needed. Dionisio is available in two widths: normal and condensed, five fonts each. Includes an extensive character set and OpenType features.

Microbrew is a versatile retro display family with 14 individual styles, plus retro banners, ornaments, and symbols. It’s a nice mix between wood type poster style, and vintage letterpress. The more detailed styles work well at large sizes, and the cleaner styles add legibility at smaller sizes. Microbrew is an all caps display font, but the lowercase act as alternates. For super-easy alternates, just mix uppercase and lowercase letters. To add to the realism, Microbrew includes double-letter ligatures. The purpose of the original DIN 1451 standard was to lay down a style of lettering which is timeless and easily legible. Unfortunately, these early letters lacked elegance and were not properly designed for typographic applications. Ever since its first publication in the 1930’s, several type foundries adopted the original designs for digital photocomposition. By early 2000, it became apparent that the existing DIN-based fonts did not fulfil the ever-increasing demand for a diverse set of weights and additional support for non-Latin languages. Parachute® was set out to fill this gap by introducing the PF DIN series which has become ever since the most comprehensive and sophisticated set of DIN typefaces. It was based on the original standards but was specifically designed to fit typographic requirements. The original source of design for Sign Sans JNL was an image online of an old New York drinking establishment called the Lenox Lounge. The metal channels encasing the neon had an unusual "feel" to some of the letters. While the original E,G and U of the sign looked "interesting", they didn't quite fit the font's layout. Those letters were scrapped for more traditional versions of them.

Painting Stencil JNL was modeled in part from a vintage set of 8 inch Gothic stencils. Alphabets of this size were generally referred to as painting stencils because each letter could be painted individually in marking signs, streets or buildings, where the classic 'lettering guide' type of stencils were used for smaller projects and had alignment holes for accurate letter spacing as well as multiples letters per page.

Condell Bio is part of the bigger Condell family: a project that involves series of typographies and whose early conception and development began in 2006. Unlike its Poster version , with its excessive and eccentric forms, Condell Bio tries to adapt itself to a monolinear shape, but conserving at the same time the organic character of its forms and endings. In this way Condell Bio is able to expanse its typographical use fields to a vaster scale. Condell’s endings and organic strokes haven’t been conceived in a structural way but stylistically. This means that Condell’s high readability doesn’t change and its original personality and idiosyncrasy as well. Condell can be said the ideal typography for connoting the corporation and brand identity, because of its high readability; especially its “eatable” forms, who collects images of food, are easily adaptable to food industry. Condell is highly recommended for the following products groups: cleansers, dish soaps, toothpastes, all sorts of personal hygiene products (shampoos, soaps,..), industrial cleanser products and also for products which refer to its softness, volatility and smoothness. Condell’s soft forms and nice endings, inspired through spontaneous brush strokes, give to the typography a very peculiar pleasant connotation. Its Italic (10 degrees inclination) has been produced singularly and not automatically calculated by the software. Condell Bio is composed of 16 fonts: from thin to black, whose weights are in regular and italic. Each singular weight has 600 characters and is composed of 206 languages.

A Geometric Angular Sans & Italic with Pizazz The Huerto Family began as a digitization of a film typeface from LetterGraphics known simply as "Horino Bold". The original specimen included standard Capitals and Lowercase, Numerals and limited punctuation. We've fleshed out the original style and added a true italic with swash alternates to the family. Where the original had a feeling of rugged permanence to it, the italic with swashes adds a fleeting dynamic appeal. Galano Grotesque is a geometric sans in the tradition of Futura, Avant Garde, Avenir and the like. It has a modern streak which is the result of a harmonization of width and height especially in the lowercase letters to support legibility. Galano Grotesque aims to be a universal weapon not only because it works great in headlines, short and long copies but also because of its subtle neutrality. Exmachino is a rounded geometric monoline display font. Taking inspiration from futurism and minimalism, the letterforms convey an uncompromising machine-like quality. Many futuristic geometric fonts only have uppercase characters but Exmachino attempts to bring the unorthodox geometric styling to a full set of characters and weights.

The Tape Back family comes in three weights. Each are monoline in weight and have a modern yet slightly quirky appearance. It is informal but has some stability with its linear forms. The slant backwards makes it unique, and it displays well even for body text.

Pigalle Swing is a very elegant script from the 1950s which I found some time ago in a similar but not so elegant version on Place Pigalle in Paris. I designed lots of alternate capitals and lowercase letters to make the font more usable and interesting. Enjoy!
