Pontifica is based on ‘protogothic’ calligraphy, a style developed at the monastery of St. Gall in the 12th century to replace Carolingian minuscule with a more efficient and compact system of lettering. Ultimately it became the progenitor of the gothic lettering styles of the late Medieval period. Also available to go with this font is a special swash version with a very different style, but compatible overall appearance.

Tapas is a delicious multi type family with a little something for everyone's tastes and needs. The family consists of four distinct members that share same traits but communicate different aspects. Together they’ll create a bold and effortless mix of various flavors and accents. Naturally, the fonts can be used individually too. Satsuma. It used to be only a Japanese orange, but now it's a typeface as well. A rather unusual typeface. Satsuma is rough around the edges, squarish and playful. It is handmade and comes with over 400 interlocking ligatures. If that ain't fun, I don't know what is! Of course, Satsuma comes with extensive language support AND accented ligatures! Due to the complexity of this font, it only comes as TTF.

This typeface is patterned after the lettering produced by the Marsh Stencil Making Machine, which was an indispensable part of industrial shipping departments in the mid-twentieth century. The font is unicase, but includes a “this side up” pointing hand at the section mark position, and a recycle symbol at the German double-s position. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

It is a neat and friendly handwriting typeface with unadorned innocence. The tight handwriting gives off a cute atmosphere as if it were written by a young person. In the existing KINDERLAND, only Regular and Bold were introduced, but the Korean version of the font introduces two white weights. White weight can give a unique feel by saving only the border and not filling the typeface. This font contains Korean.

Designed by fine artist and calligrapher Alissa Mazzenga, Marguerite is is a calligraphy style font inspired by fine artistry and risk taking. She has a way of surprising her viewer, with a look that is authentic, yet chic, relaxed, but also elegant. Marguerite’s trademarks are strong angles, bold uppercase forms, elegant hairlines and perfectly placed swashes. She comes along with many ligature variations and a contextual alternates features.

The idea about Phenotype was to achieve a unique visual effect by touching serifs. Characters form ligatures, but every combination looks different. Touching serifs form connecting character images, e.g. like logotypes on old refrigerators or oldtimer cars, something like the fonts of Leslie Carbarga. The design idea is based on monospaced and heavy serif fonts like Courier, Isonorm Memphis or Rockwell. However, obviously, Phenotype is not a monospaced typeface.

Mivron is a stand-out type of sans-serif block text especially suited for headlines and display work. There's a wide range of accented characters making this font appropriate for a wide variety of languages. The zip contains OTF and TTF versions - only install one version of a font on the same machine, either the OTF or TTF, but not both as that could cause various conflicts and erratic behaviour.

Artigo is an old style inspired typeface system for text. It was inspired by the handwriting aspect of the first roman types but it intends to be a contemporary interpretation. Its abilities are in small text with personality. The italics capture a lot of its dynamic feeling even more expressive on the display version that stands as the most handwritten one. It gives text a lot of personality and great readability.

Swithin is based on hand lettering from the titles in a Victorian fairy tale collection. It has a playful look which seems just right for the holiday season, with some rough, hand-drawn variations which make make it feel more unique. It's conceptually similar to our Candlemas and Summerisle fonts, but has its own special personality. It ought to be excellent for holiday cards and other seasonal uses.

Bebas Neue SemiRounded is the Bebas Neue with rounded corners. As you know, Bebas Neue is the most widely used free font recently. This semi-rounded version is the new style for more widely use. The basic theory and proportion are same as Bebas Neue but rounded shape gives a warm, soft and natural impression. A bit more rigid than Bebas Neue Rounded. Available at an affordable price.

A condensed loose brush style. This font has a breezy elegance and casual sophistication, yet in a different context or color, it could be seen as nervous and urban. A weird dichotomy. Set in smallish text blocks, it has a surprisingly even color. This is due to a balace that has been struck between keeping the roughness and idiosyncracies of a hand-drawn face but ensuring an overall regularity.

I was watching a nice series the other day, which I quite enjoyed, but then I realised that the episode I was watching was in fact the last one. That kinda upset me, as I was just getting into the story. Last Episode is a handmade, all caps font - great for titling, book covers and posters. It comes with a set of alternates and some really interesting discretional ligatures.

Here’s a new take on the hand-lettered alphabet Oswald Bruce Cooper used in ads for the Packard Motor Company, later converted into a metal typeface by the Barnhard Brothers & Spindler foundry. This version has smoother outlines and an increased x-height, but retains all of the elegant charm of the original. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

Black Bamboo is a beautiful plant. My father in law, who recently passed away, loved it and had a prized specimen growing in his garden. This font was named in his honour. Black Bamboo font is a bold typeface, created using a good brush and quality paint. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be freely interchanged. Of course, Black Bamboo comes with all diacritics.

Freeland is a casual brush typeface, with a rich, inky texture, and just a bit of a masculine, edgy vibe. It’s modern, bold, and lively, but not too whimsical. Features plenty of ligatures and stylistic alternates for a realistic, hand-lettered look. Uppercase letters can be used alone, as a cohesive group, or they can be paired with their lowercase cousins, for lettering that dances effortlessly across your design.

It’s cherry season, so I bought 2 kilos of cherries at the local cherry farm. The cherries I bought had been in a cooling cell, so they were quite cold. As I was eating them, the name for this new font popped up! Chilly Cherry is a handmade serif. It’s a little wobbly, a little off-center, but it will surely put a smile on the cherry lips of your customers.

Louise font was based on the art of Louise Marie (lou) Loeber, a Dutch painter. She was born in Amsterdam in 1894 and flirted with several styles like De Stijl, Cubism and Bauhaus. Her artworks are characterized by a sober use of geometric shapes; lines, rectangles and triangles. Louise font consists of Caps, but the lower and upper case glyphs are quite different. Louise comes with extensive language support.

Suchow was developed from a hand lettered storybook title by Willy Pogany. It's designed to give the feel of the Far East, with character shapes reminiscent of oriental brush lettering. The look of the characters is typical of lettering often used around the turn of the century for oriental-themed advertising and decoration, but not seen very often in contemporary use. The full version includes an expanded character set.

One of the original Clarendon types, an English design, here derived from a specimen taken from an American foundry, no identifying marks. With a tall x-height, wide version, unlike more traditional Clarendons, not a square serif but bracketed. Unique to this Clarendon are the rounded openings at the points where the horizontal and vertical stems meet in the capital B, D, P and R, not common in other Clarendons.

HK Kelie is a light to medium-contrast typeface with swashy, medium bracketed serifs, and terminals in the appropriate places, as well as bracketed junctions in various letterforms. The main feature of the typeface is the disconnection between the bowls and the stems. However, the bowl is very close to the stem, creating the illusion of connection. HK Kelie is calm, attractive, and legible — but above all, it is sophisticated.

After I created my font Montello, I decided to continue with the classic connected font look. Meet Panettone. Panettone is a sweet bread loaf, originally from Milan, which is usually served during Christmas. Of course, you could use my Panettone script for your Christmas cards, but Panettone won’t look bad on invitations, book covers and products that need a classy look. Comes with ligatures for letters that just don’t connect well.

Thawed This is a display font of a narrow specialization, its letters seem to have melted and flowed, but at the same time it retains the shape of the letters and is well read. It is perfect for branding, logos, labels, short display inscriptions and advertising materials from flyers to billboards. This font includes drops of style, they make it possible to make the font more voluminous and give detail.

The typeface which inspired this offering was originally called "Chaucer", not because it is typical of lettering of Chaucer’s time (which it is not) but, more likely, because it’s pretty funny, even if the humor is low. Another purveyor of low humor, Mack Sennett and his Keystone Kops, suggested this version’s name. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

The basic design style for Nouveau Days JNL was inspired by the hand lettering on the sheet music cover for "Linger Longer Letty". This tongue-twisting song title comes from the 1919 musical comedy of the same name. Some of the characters originally had tiny spur serifs, but they were omitted in the digital version to keep the overall design consistent. The font is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Kinghorn 105 is an Egyptian style slab-serif. The strokes are all of a roughly equal weight for an even, geometric look. Although original Egyptian slabs date from the early 19th century, the even look gives the font a balanced, contemporary look. It's intended mainly as a display font, but it's even strokes mean it remains legible even at smaller sizes. It's also available with some character variations as Kinghorn 205.

Arkit is a ‘constructivist’ sans with a humanistic taste. Its geometric look hides an organic soul that can be felt rather than seen, as for instance in the strokes that are slightly tapered. Arkit features a big x-height and is suitable for signage and for many display applications, but it also performs well as a book face both in body copy and in captions and small-size texts.

I wanted to do somewhat like Blackletter, but Blackletter is hard to read sometimes, so I tried to solve this problem and to do something unique. This font is able to be used with all European languages including ancient and reconstructed languages like Old Church Slavonic (it can be written by Cyrillic or Glagolitic script), Proto Slavic, Ancient Greek etc. It also includes IPA, so it can be used in education.
