This typeface, in fact a bitmap font 'avant la lettre' is an interpretation of the Old Face condensed type. It is being used where space is scarce. Its skeleton is projected on the chain structure of a fly screen. Eventually your text lines fill the space as wide as hypothetical doors can be. In small sizes the text appears to be drawn with a pencil.

The Danish designer Nina Lee Storm designed Noa for use on television and computer screens during the late 1990s. She began her six-member type family with the creation of bitmap fonts, developing their print outlines only secondarily. ALS Rundgang is a decorative font designed specially for advertising purposes that reminds one of electronic display boards and bitmap typefaces. It includes only capital letters. Modula was the first high resolution headline face that Zuzana Licko designed with the Macintosh computer. Back in the nineties I had a deck of Tarot cards. It was part interest and part curiosity, but I also liked the look of them. Influenza, whose name means 'the flu' in a number of languages, is a fat, single weight typeface. It's a bastard typeface, each character stands alone as an independent angular structure.
