Ostent Rounded is based on my first release "Ostent' which is a font family which is inspired by the early Din-Type fonts. In particular, Din 1451. This is reflected in Ostents simple and uncomplicated design, which results in creating a good sense of legibility. Each of the three weights has been carefully designed to work in conjunction with one another, or individually, complimenting other typefaces. Ostent can be used across a wide range of design mediums (both print and screen). There is also a non-rounded version of Ostent available to purchase.

ITC Verkehr was designed by Mott Jordan, who based its forms on those of narrow sans serif typefaces but also chose a departure from the tradition to set the font apart from the rest. The upper half of each character is heavier than the lower half, although this is usually the other way around. Diagonal strokes, like the horizontal of the lower case e, relax the otherwise regular, bar-like look of the font. ITC Verkehr is suited exclusively for use in headlines and display in larger point sizes.

Space Mode is a multi-weighted typeface, sent back in time from the distant future. Forward-looking typeface designers often predict a reductive future where Latin letterforms have become increasingly modularized and simplified, or random bits have mysteriously gone missing. Thankfully, this is not the case, and typography has instead flourished and evolved. New forms have appeared, and some revived from historical references. A more complex drawing model has arisen that seems to add new curves in a effort to tame the strange diagonals that appear in the final quarter of the alphabet.

Linotype Compendio is a part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of the International Digital Type Design Contests from 1994 and 1997. Christian Bauer designed this font based on the basic forms of Transitional faces of the 17th century. The outer contours of the letters are purposely raw and irregular, much like alphabets printed on low-quality paper. The legibility of the font is thus reduced, making it necessary to use this font only for shorter texts or headlines, but it is exactly this characteristic which lends Linotype Compendio its distinctiveness.

The Wild Bunch, also known as the Doolin–Dalton Gang, was a gang of outlaws that terrorized Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma Territory during the 1890s. They robbed banks, killed lawmen and held up trains. Of course its members were hunted down and 'wanted' posters, with that typical 'Wild West' font, appeared all over. Wild Bunch is a 'wanted poster' type font. It is an all caps font, but upper and lower case differ slightly. A set of alternate, non-eroded, glyphs for the lower case (including alternate numbers) completes this font.

Niveau Serif - the companion of Niveau Grotesk - is a type family of six weights plus matching italics & small caps. It was designed by Hannes von Döhren in 2013. Influenced by classical nineteenth century engravers faces, the fonts are based on geometric forms. Niveau Serif has a contemporary feel and combines the clearness of a Sans with the elegance of a typeface with serifs. Niveau Serif is equipped for complex, professional typography with alternate letters, arrows, fractions and an extended character set to support Central and Eastern European as well as Western European Languages.

AggressIan is the release of the first font I ever drew. It was done by hand with triangle and parallel rule back in the mid-1980s. I originally called it Aggressor, but I never liked it. My local type designer friend, Ian Roberts, really likes this type of drawing and told me I had to release it. So I named it after him. The small caps should work well if you need a bolder version. It has oldstyle and lining figures, plus the small cap figures. I hope you like it.

Diocletian fortiter in re, suaviter in modo Diocletian typeface captures the essence and glory of the Diocletian’s palace, one of the most imposing heritages of the late Roman empire. It is designed to bring the confidence and fortune to contemporary communication in a heroic and gentle manner. Diocletian typeface is based on the Uncial script, made up of wide, rounded letters. This typeface is a tribute to well-known Italian designer Marcello Nizzoli. Nizzoli is a modern sans serif font that offers a wide range of alternatives—a workhorse type well suited for headlines, posters, corporate identity and advertising campaigns. This modular design is based on geometric shapes and combines straight lines with rounded corners. The whole family is composed of four 7-weight subfamilies: one normal and one alternative plus rounded versions. Each subfamily includes matching italics. This typeface is my own interpretation of those curves and shapes found in Marcello Nizzoli’s designs.

Comic books are filled with pages full of the daring adventures of crime fighters with colorful costumes, amazing abilities and wondrous powers. They have enthralled kids of all ages since the 1930s. Costumed Hero JNL emulates both the hand lettered cover titles of those vintage comics as well as the title credits from a 1960s television show based on one of these characters. Another font for the BAQ family, BAQ metal brings back the classically solid, sturdy form of its predecessors with a rough and ready finish. The roundness of this font doesn’t take away from its impact, but does keep it from being too harsh, while the texture creates extra legibility at smaller sizes. Really though, BAQ metal works better when it’s bigger, standing out with its coarse appearance and rotund fullness. Linotype Clascon is part of the Take Type Library, which features winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. Designed by the British artist Rachel Godfrey, the constructed forms of the capitals are reminiscent of sketches of many famous 16th century artists, Albrecht Dürer and Nicolas Jaugeon among them. This style emphasizes the mathematic construction of the letters, based on the circle, rectangle and triangle, but Clascon’s historical roots lie in Transitional and Modern Face styles. This font is particularly suited to very short texts, headlines and initials.

Kon Tiki Aloha is a font that celebrates the design style of mid 20th Century Hawaiian kitsch. This font was inspired by the ad poster of a popular 1960s Hawaiian themed attraction, and contains 120 alternate interlocking ligatures to give it a Polynesian feel. The ligatures can be found under the Discretionary Ligatures OT feature or added from the glyph palette. LUAZERVA is a font that is quite unique because the base is a classic serif font with the Victorian genre, why is it unique, because this font has a characteristic that is broken and loses the thin body of the letter itself, so besides being unique this font also has a rather difficult readability. So this font is really a display font that is not suitable for making long text. Clear Prairie Dawn is an original humanist sans serif family based on the designer's own printing. Designed for use as a text face, as a humanist sans it shares some of the characteristics you might notice in other such faces as Optima, Gill Sans or Stone Sans. The italic is a designed italic, rather than merely a slanted roman, and incorporates many of the ideas that the designer found too lively for the roman fonts. The complete CPD package consists of three weights with italics, and a set of original ornaments.

Words in a blurry world want to be more firmly anchored in the line - this is the task of the Slab-serif, characterized by solid heels. They can be used in extreme sizes – under 6 points – as well as on huge tarpaulins covering trucks, boats and house facades. Carot serves its robust clarity. The eye takes a while to become accustomed to various character simplifications, but then comes a refreshing reading perception, familiar texts get actual sound. The whole Carot system of 64 members offers a modern alternative for all types of design work.

Backwash AOE is a typeface I drew up back in 2000 inspired by various graffiti artists. Coming across all of my sketches recently and seeing a trend lately in graffiti inspired styles, I finally came around to finishing it up digitally for release. I love the break the rules, wildchild aspect, of graffiti lettering. And while this typeface is nothing like the wilder inspirations that I spawned this typeface from, it has a more legible direction to it, retaining just the flavor of the originals. Kanvas is a flowing calligraphy script. The typeface was drawn and created by Måns Grebäck between 2017 and 2020. Its flowing shapes are inherited from mid-century advertising, being soft and friendly while retaining a sturdy forward movement. Kanvas is a typeface family consisting of five weights: Thin, Light, Regular, Bold and Black. Use it for an invitation card, in a celebratory context or as a logotype. The font contains all characters you'll ever need, including all punctuation and numbers. It has an extensive lingual support, covering all European Latin-based scripts.

In the DR Krapka Square typefamily, the pixel has a square shape. The font supports OpenType features and contains small capitals, ligatures, oldstyle figures, terminal forms, historical forms, stylistic sets. The dingbats, arrows, emoji are also present. For small texts, it is recommended to use DR Krapka Square-FontSize10px in the font size 10 px. DR Krapka Square typefamily supported European languages based on Latin, Cyrillic and Greek scripts. If you want to use fonts with a different shape of pixels, there are also typefaces from DR Krapka family: DR Krapka Round, DR Krapka Rhombus.

Nimbussant Bresslo is a contemporary sans and attipic unicase were lowercase alternates with smallcaps creating an unusual look that can be used in posters, logo design and headings or small bold plain texts. This grotesque typeface supports most of the latin based languages and also kyrillic and greek alphabets. For a plus of a modern and young appeal, some of the letters have a very sharp, straight and minimalist body design but you may find also their stylistic alternates to better emulate the look you find more appropiate for your design.

Munky, a big bowl full of slab serif goodness. It's got a cheeky, playful look with large, heavy serifs. Its shapes have a few kinks here and there. I would say that adds to its charm—and it does. It's great for headlines and titles but is also very legible in sentence case. It works great for branding and packaging, books, invitations and anything where you want a laid-back vibe—without being too childish. If the font were a celebrity, it would be more John Candy than John Malkovich.

The Hondo Grunge fonts are a collection of ultrabold eroded slab serif typefaces with a dynamic look and extended functionality. Accented with decorative and functional inktraps and complete with Slant and Backslant styles, this heavyweight has a high performance hardcore edge to it. Ideal for titling, poster work, logos, and small bits of copy. For the Opentype savvy, the Opentype version contains a complete alternate set of base characters, which by enabling contextual alternates option will force the typeface to continually alternate between the original & alternate character sets for a more spontaneous look.

Checker is an all-cap ‘three-D’ font which automatically alternates white letters on black tiles with black letters on white tiles, by means of the Contextual Alternates feature. Checker is an attention grabber suitable for logos, titles and short headings. With its tiled construction, it's a natural for colorful interpretation. The letters are properly italicized and back-slanted, and adjusted for maximum readability within the constraints of the font’s concept. The letter style is bold grotesque, so Checker will mix smoothly with any other fonts in a layout.

Bilton is a sans-serif typeface with the personality of serif and an incredibly large X-height. Intended for headlines and display sizes, Hutton can also be used at body sizes if needed. This font is based on the handwriting of author Franz Kafka and captures his expressive handwriting style, using the manuscript of The Trial and his diaries as the primary reference. The font presents the elegance and nervousness with which he wrote his letters and book manuscripts. To resemble naturalistic writing and remain as authentic and irregular as possible (without becoming impossible to read), a great number of extended ligatures was added. As an extra, several drawings from Kafka‘s diaries are included. A full international character set is featured.

The 1930 Geneva Motor Show (Salon International De l'Automobile Et Du Cycle) showcased a lot of new cars, but one item in particular took my interest: the amazing art deco poster announcing the show. Lokomotiv font was based on this poster. It is a very deco-ish font, futuristic, angular, with bold squares, rounds and triangles. As I had to work with just a handful of glyphs, and needed to fill an entire font, I made up the missing ones myself. Lokomotiv, by the way, is German for Locomotive.

Decalcomania JNL is based on examples of gold and black water-applied initial decals made by the Transfer Monogram Company of Chicago circa the 1940s. It is presumed the patterns for the letters were hand cut, possibly explaining the variations in line widths and character shapes. These eccentricities were left intact and followed through to the other characters in order to represent a more "authentic" digital version of these vintage decals. Decalcomania JNL is available in both the regular (outline) version, and a solid black version, as well as obliques of both styles.

Architype Ingenieur was inspired by Wim Crouwel’s late 1950s exhibition catalogues and posters, for which he had created a few geometrically constructed, simplified letterforms. In the 1960 Venice Biennale Dutch entry poster, he drew grid-based letters with 45-degree angles for ‘olanda’, the style influenced by his boyhood fascination with naval lettering. A subtle variation appeared in the Stedelijk Museum catalogue for painter Jean Brusselmans. Several dot matrix versions followed. The themes and systems in these early letterforms are encapsulated in this new four weight family Architype Ingenieur.

Karben 205 is inspired by the classic, no nonsense DIN, and has a form that follows its highly legible function. Based on a lozenge, it has a clean and pure geometry with even stroke weights. Karben 205 is available in a family of five weights, and is also available with character variations as Karben 105. There are also monospaced variants of both Karben 105 and Karben 205 and a stencil version. All of the Karben fonts feature an extended character set, including accented characters for Central European languages.

A typeface based on early Constructivism Design and Early 20th Century Type form the Modernist Movement. Cap Height for the font has been extended to represent early 20th century typography more closely, while rounded shoulders add a contemporary, modern feel, allowing the design to bridge both centuries. Cobalt Bold works best for headers and titles, while Cobalt Medium and Regular lend themselves to body text. Cobalt Text has smaller Cap Heights, Ascenders, and Descenders, and has been designed where smaller leadings in a body of copy is needed.

This is a family of "Gothic" types from the Monotype Design Studio. The faces named "Gothic No. 1 through 4" were produced by Compugraphic. Gothic No. 1 is a condensed, late 19th century American-style sans serif typeface. Gothic No. 2 and Gothic No. 3 are based on the Metro #2 series, designed by W.A. Dwiggins for Mergenthaler Linotype during the 1920s and 30s. Gothic No. 4 looks vaguely like Gothic number one, but is heavier and smaller on the body. Gothic Extra Light Extended is a very light and wide design.

The Xavier family of typefaces is based on the delightful deco typeface called Ashley Crawford, originally designed in 1930 by Ashley Havinden. After designing Xavier Black (Serif) and Xavier Sans Black, I added Bold Sans, Medium and Medium Sans and finally added lowercase to the medium weights. Although more manageable than Ashley Crawford, Xavier, due to its very playful nature (splayed A, M, etc.) needs to be used with care, especially in terms of spacing. Xavier is a playful typeface and I have been particularly pleased to see it used in children's books.

Based on character shapes with origins rooted in the work of 19th Century American wood type makers, DST Mechanic Gothic draws influence from the poster types found in the impactful advertising during the Industrial revolution. It has several classic condensed sans-serif elements, and although Darren Scott has injected a contemporary twist to refresh the character shapes, this typeface does not deny its roots. Darren Scott's original Mechanic Gothic design has been adapted and re-crafted to give a more conventional range of weights and italics for this exclusive re-release.

Created exclusively for an exhibition catalog for the exhibition 'Hail to the King, Baby!'. CA Hail to the King is based upon different letters taken from handmade signs from all over the world. You will find a lot of unexpected specials: irregular character sizes and styles (uppercase characters are bold; lowercase characters are in regular style) everything that makes CA Hail to the King so varied and unpredictable. In addition to west European diacritics an extensive central European character set were added including some very nice stylistic alternates.
