Sydonia Atramentiqua is a strange creation. The inspiration was the first releases of "Malleus Maleficarum" (actually the typography used there). I decided I wanted something strange, so Sydonia came into being. Like a blood of all witches who were being hunted down by Malleus Maleficarum's "fans" for their skills and beliefs. Why Sydonia? Sydonia von Borck was a witch from my area. It was probably the last woman executed for witchcraft. The genesis of the name. Sydonia was THE WITCH, and by the name I added "Atramentiqua". It is a combination of the words "Ink" (polish "ATRAMENT") + "Antiqua". The idea of ​​spilling a font is historical. The former Zecer composition was not perfectly sharp. As it was a "wet job", there were always light exits behind the lines. Who supported me? The GENEALOGIA project has been carried out for several years in cooperation with the Academy of Art in Szczecin and the National Museum in Szczecin. The project's supervisors are prof. Waldemar Wojciechowski and MA Patrycja Makarewicz, who runs the Visual Communication Studio. Some information: Sydonia was like that! This is not an everyday font. It is a stylized font, used to imitate old prints made by Zecer. The first version of Sydonia Atramentiqua was created in 2018 for the purposes of the exhibition at the National Museum in Szczecin. The Deberny typeface is an interpretation–carrying a contemporary imprint–of a typographic style which appeared and spread at the end of the 19th century until the begining of the 20th. These typefaces were named Italian, Venetian, Veronese and were classified in the Hellenic category, a spontaneous typographic movement caracterized by triangular and heavy serifs. They found their inspiration among numerous references, from incised to slab serif typefaces and their extreme expressions in wood type letterforms. Century Gothic™ is based on Monotype 20th Century, which was drawn by Sol Hess between 1936 and 1947. Century Gothic maintains the basic design of 20th Century but has an enlarged x-height and has been modified to ensure satisfactory output from modern digital systems. The design is influenced by the geometric style sans serif faces which were popular during the 1920s and 30s. The Century Gothic font family is useful for headlines and general display work and for small quantities of text, particularly in advertising. Century Gothic family has been extended to 14 weights in a Pan-European character set from Thin to Black and their corresponding Italics. Arturo is a brand new font family drawn from the original inspiration of an old alphabet in one of Dan Solo 's Dover Clip Art books. It has moved far away from those raw roots, however. Every character has been redrawn. For example, I had a light version that I never could get working. Arturo is based on that light style and called Arturo Book. The name comes from a good friend of mine in El Paso. He was the guinea pig upon whom I foisted off the beginnings of this style so many years ago. I did several marketing pieces for him using the raw drawings. I figured that he deserved to have the family named after him, at the very least. This is a normal font family for me in that it has caps, lowercase, small caps with the appropriate figures for each case. This font has all the OpenType features in the set for 2009. There are several ligatures for your fun and enjoyment: bb gg ff fi fl ffi ffl ffy fj ft tt ty Wh Th and more. Our Binder Family is a revival and expansion of Binder-Style, a typeface designed by Joseph Binder and released by D. Stempel AG in 1959. It originally was a single weight. In later film type adaptations, a bold style, and an outline with drop shadow style were made available. TT Supermolot Neue is a redesigned, extended and greatly enhanced reincarnation of the popular TT Supermolot and TT Supermolot Condensed font families. During its existence, the hammers (‘molot’ in Russian) managed to get into the spotlight in a huge number of projects, for example, in popular video games, films, and branding. Despite its popularity, the limited composition of old families put boundaries their development, which prompted us to release a completely redesigned and greatly extended version. And while the old families could offer designers only a limited number of tools, in the new version you can already find 54 fonts, and each individual font now consists of more than 620 glyphs. First, we have added a completely new subfamily, TT Supermolot Neue Extended. But this is only the tip of the iceberg—in order to achieve visual harmony between the three subfamilies, we completely revised the distribution of widths among them. As a result of this work, the width of the TT Supermolot Neue Basic subfamily became a bit narrower, and the width of the TT Supermolot Neue Condensed subfamily became even narrower than it was in the old version. Secondly, we’ve increased the number of weights. While in the old versions there were only 5 weights, in the new ones there are 9 in each of the subfamilies. Naratif is a condensed display based on an early 1900 sans-serifs and gothic faces and it has 7 weights including italic. Great for anything big and for not so small text or display. Brutal Type — is a new sans serif typeface with a distinct manly character. It’s based on the shapes of DIN font, however radically reconsidered. Despite the apparent simplicity and obviousness of forms, the Brutal Type design is original and fresh. This font is universal and familiar to all, emotional and catchy at the same time.

Wicked, cheeky and geeky! That's what went through my mind when updating this font. Originally made around year 2000, and now it comes in a restored and updated version. I cleaned up all curves and lines, added multilingual support and kerning. Based upon classic typefaces like Bodoni and Baskerville, but far more unpredictable and wild.

Inlines that go over, under sideways, down! Deck out your headlines in grand style with this unusual inline face, based on Dektiv, a seventies-style classic from "Homage to the Alphabet." Both versions include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, as well as localization for Moldovan and Romanian.

Eckhardt Freehand JNL is the fourth font based on the lettering of sign painters and show card writers. Jeff Levine has chosen to name this “mini series” of fonts in honor of his friend Albert Eckhardt, Jr., a talented sign man who ran Allied Signs [in Miami, Florida] from 1959 until his passing in 2005.

Marcu San is part of the Take Type Library, which features the winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. Designer Markus McCallion designed his sans serif font with unusual forms based on circles and circle fragments. Legibility is thus decreased for the sake of a unique look and a variety of design possibilities.

Kammerlander is a sans typeface with a distinctively strong thick/thin contrast. It’s based on Messner- a hairline font with a constant stroke weight, so their combination looks very natural. Asterism Clean is the smooth lined version of Asterism. It is a calligraphy style font with a moving baseline and lots of shining personality. Also contains a bold and a monoline version. This hand written style font is based on one of Molly’s signature calligraphy styles and pairs beautifully with Frosted, Icing, Saint Agnes.

Ursula Handschrift is based on the designer’s handwriting. Individual characters are simple, soft and expressive; making it a friendly, organic script. It will work well in scrap-book style designs, comic books, for informal headings and image captions. Ursula Handschrift is extended, containing West European diacritics making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications.

Highbrow Cafetorium JNL is a very "minimalist" font in the sense that there's only the basic lower case characters and essential punctuation. The lettering is based on a neon-and-bulb wall sign for a long-closed cafeteria on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida. The 'b', 'd', 'k' and 'l' have unusually high verticals.

The Chickenz dingbat font is a series of symbols based inspired by the wild west, from cowboy silhouettes and playing cards to a series of office shapes that can be used in any corporate layout. These designs were conceived as part of the Jackazz family but can also be mixed with any other typefaces.

Doodle Pen is a whimsical hand-drawn typeface. Characters are based on ballpoint pen multi-line drawings creating a scribbled texture and soft edges. This typeface will work well for headings, short paragraphs and scrap-book style designs. Doodle Pen is extended, containing West European diacritics making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications.

Tailored for sci-fi lettering, anime awesomeness or even just making flyers for a day trip across the Rainbow Bridge, this is one to keep in mind!

Clairveaux is based on samples of an ornate 12th century calligraphic style. It has some interesting features, including small caps which combine some characteristics of both traditional upper and lower cae character forms. It's ornate enough to look decorative, but not overwhelmingly complex, and looks remarkably attractive when used for titles in a large size.

Betula is the scientific name for Birch - I probably don’t have to explain that birches are my favourite trees! They always look like the ghosts of the forest with their papery white bark and dark blotches. Betula is a rough, crayon-like font. Very legible with a childlike appearance. Comes with a forest of diacritics.

The Federal Music Project was part of Franklin D. Roosevelt's WPA (Works Progress Administration), putting many people back to work in the Depression years of the 1930s. A hand-lettered poster advertising an "American Music Festival" featuring the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra offered up the extra bold Art Deco inspiration which became Music Festival JNL

An ad in the May 27, 1939 issue of "Motion Picture Herald" for the film "Young Mr. Lincoln" featured the film's title hand lettered in a squared, bold pen lettering with rounded terminals along with an incised 'engraving' line. This formed the basis for Political Trend JNL, which available in both regular and oblique versions.

When I created my first website, I loved using vintage sewing pattern illustrations in my designs. Thinking back on it, I wanted to create a dingbat inspired by those images and Sewing Patterns is the result. The font features ladies-fashions in silhouette form for uppercase and lowercase letters and childrens- styles for the numbers.

"Punk is not dead, grunge is not dread, skateboarding and grafitti is forever" - shouted by some (possibly drunk!) person one late night. I had these "wise" words in the back of my mind, while making this font. I wanted to capture the wildness of both punk/grunge/skateboarding and grafitti without overdoing any of them!

Based on lettering on a poster for an 1907 art exhibition by Joseph Maria Olbrich. Use uppercase characters for headlines, and lowercase letters for text use. For “dotted” spaces, use the underscore, and brackets or braces for framing characters. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

This graceful charmer is based on a Victorian-era typeface called "Romanesque". It takes its name from a cathedral in England considered by many to be the finest example of Romanesque architecture in the British Isles.
