Capsule is a reverse-stress, high-contrast, rounded sans-serif font with two distinct personalities. An all-caps face, there are however variations of some letters in the lowercase slots. The lowercase variants are more playful, with more bulbous elements that riff on phototype faces like Amelia and Data 70, but all can work together and be mixed and matched to your heart's content. Capsule boasts a bunch of esoteric discretionary ligatures to play around with, and stylistic alternates for 4, 7 and £. The language support is extensive enough to set essays in most Latin-based languages, even though that's the last thing you should be doing with this font! Capsule should be set large. The fit is tight and the kerning is aggressive. It's not what you'd call a workhorse, but Capsule is an All-Caps you'll (see what I did there?!) want to use for impactful headlines, cutting edge logos and post-modern layouts.

In 1905 the Parisian typefounders Peignot & Cie. issued their Série 16. This clear roman with a large x-height and an italics soon enjoyed a great popularity. Coen Hofmann’s drawings made for the Seizième follow the original Peignot Série 16 as close as possible. The regular font has the original small caps, while all members of the family are enhanced, next to the ranging ones, with old style figures. Also superior and inferior figures are available. The original series did not have a bold version. This was, however, carefully drawn for this digital rendition. The Série 16 and its versions for the composing machines were much used for the type setting of scientific publications. That is why a comprehensive set of mathematical and sundry characters are added to the Seizième fonts. Next to the accented characters for the several West and East European languages the Seizième was also enhanced with a Cyrillic, also available in regular, italic and bold versions.

One of the earliest fonts published by Canada Type was Coffee Script, Phil Rutter's digitization of Robert Hunter Middleton's 1962 brush script, Wave. In 2010, when the font was revisited for an update, it was shown that it was too light for applications under 24 pt, and too irregular for applications over 64 pt. So the face was redigitized from scratch. This new digitization maintains a soft contour and a steadier stroke, as well as much better outlines for use at both extremes of scaling. Language support was also greatly expanded, and many alternates were added to the redigitized character set. The name was also changed to Middleton Brush, to better reflect the origins of the design, which was Middleton's response to Robert Smith's popular Brush Script Middleton Brush comes in all popular formats. In 1529, Geofroy Tory, French scholar, engraver, printer, publisher and poet, was publishing the well known so called Champ Fleury, printed by Gilles de Gourmond, in Paris. It is a fully illustrated handbook where the author explains how to draw Roman characters. The font used for the text - a Humane/Jenson type - was not a very beautiful one, but rough and ready, and the book is well known for its capital letters designs. We are offering here the two complete historical type sets and more -- we have entirely redrawn the lacked letters: J, U and W, Eth, Lslash, Thorn and Oslash in the two initial forms. The text font, 1529 Champ Fleury Regular is now containing all characters for West European (including Celtic), Baltic, East and Central European and Turkish language, and the Initial set 1529 Champ Fleury Init is containing two complete alphabets, with a very great effort to be as close as possible to the original pictures.

Caravela is a decorative formal typeface. It was designed, drawn and realized by Mans Greback in 2020. Inspired by 17th century typographic works, this work lifts some of the absolute best elements from the golden age of calligraphic lettering, bringing it to life in a new, modern setting. The fusion results in a typeface that works perfectly for a present day headline, logotype or invitation, while keeping the traditions and formality inherited from history. It contains several alternate alphabets, a great set of ligatures and hundreds of contextual functions, which combined make the writing appear as a true handpainted piece of art. Cadmium has a comprehensive latin character set and many Opentype features to enhance text, including small capitals, case-sensitive forms, superscript and subscript. Plenty of numeral variants include old-style figures, lining figures and fractions. Default numerals are proportionally spaced. Alternative styles for a handful of key characters provide some useful variations where stylistic sets can be implemented. The fonts are presented as four width-based sub-families: Expanded, Normal, Condensed and Compressed. Each width has a matching range of six weights and italics (obliques). Regular and Bold weights are style-linked, together with their respective oblique forms. Each width differs in its basic construction but all fonts share the same vertical metrics and may be used in combination with each other. The Roundup family was inspired by fonts from the late 19th century, though it is not based on any one of them. Roundup-Caps was the first of the group to be constructed. It has two sets of upper-case letters that have minor differences. It has reverse contrast, that is, the verticals are thinner than the horizontals. Unlike most of the "Old-West" fonts with reverse contrast, the serifs are not square but have an odd, rounded shape. Roundup-Regular replaced the second set of caps with lower-case letters. A bold style strengthens the vertical elements so that it no longer has reverse contrast. Both the regular and bold styles have matching oblique styles. Finally, there is a hollow version with a shadow to the lower right. This shadowed style has had its inside taken out, creating RoundUp-ShadowInside. The spacing is the same as RoundUpShadowed so it can be layered over RoundUpShadowed to easily create two-colored lettering.

Especially against the backdrop of neutral geometric sans-serifs. The set comes with 694 glyphs. In the era of digital types, the round handmade cursive continues to intrigue many type designers, probably by their beautiful and graceful calligraphic origins. However, what is certainly true, is that all good traditional pen-formed script may be suitable for a wide range of fine graphic works. The Predy typeface is based on the famous style of the 19th Century: The English handwriting made by pen. It is a connected cursive in the tradition of the “ronde”. This typeface is constructed upon their vigorous ascenders with loops, two times the lengths of the descenders with an extremely short x-high. Tatty is a sans serif, monoline font that is distinguished by the gentle, rounded, backward curves on the ascenders. I created it because I had a picture in my mind of a font that I wanted to use when designing images and logos for clients' websites but I could never find one that was just exactly right. Many years ago I worked for a sign-writing company. My job was to copy and enlarge letter sets from printed copy and then cut masks for airbrushing. One morning I arrived at my desk to find that the airbrush artist had written on a rough, rubbed out, scribbled on drawing of the letter ‘a’ - “make a letter happy, make it beautiful”. That was the brief I set myself in the design of Tatty - to make every letter happy and beautiful. The result is a flowing, elegant yet simple type which I believe works particularly well for poetry.

Ico Phone is a set of 115 symbols depicting anything that happens on the screen of a regular mobile phone.
