Burford is a font family that I sketched while traveling through Europe. I was mesmerized by all the unique typography that was showcased throughout the five countries I visited. Inspired by all that I had seen, I found myself spending 4-5 hours per day in Amsterdam’s Vondel Park drawing characters. Once back in the states I digitalized Burford, deciding it would make for a beautiful layer-based font. Burford Pro package comes with all 18 layering fonts including 5 base layers, 3 top layers, 5 bottom layers and 2 sets of graphic elements. They are strategically made to build on top of each other, creating a cohesive and easy to use layer-based family. Each font also comes with a set of Stylistic Alternatives for letters A C E F G H P Q R. Burford Basic package is created for users who don’t have access to premiere design programs (such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc) and are unable to use the layering effect. Burford can still be a powerful tool as each font can also be used on its own. It includes every font file not needed for the layering effect. (Include 13 fonts - Burford Basic, Dots, DropShadow, Extras Set A, Extras Set B, Extrude B, Extrude C, Inline, Line, Marquee, Outline, Stripes A and Stripes B). Fresh and New, Harder. Harder is an elegant script font. Made from vectorized hand strokes so that it will look neat on each side of the character. He has several character alternatives that will offer interesting options for any of your design projects

These six faces are interpreted from examples shown in Rob Roy Kelly's "American Wood Types" They are not merely scanned copies, but have been redrawn from scratch with various optical adjustments. Kelly points out that the true glory of the American Wood Types are the negative spaces, which are, in their dynamic active forms, the antithesis of the anemic flimsy letters produced by type foundries in the 19th century. The Alphabets Wood Types are designed with digital manipulation in mind. Stretch, curve and distort at will! These designs were released prior to similar revivals from Adobe. Each font has two full alphabets (one full height, one smaller) and numerals. However, certain points and accents will not be found.

Quintana is a font that reflects urgency. Suitable for logos and packaging statements. Invoking the Opentype / CONTEXTUAL variant produces the word terminals for all lower-case letterforms as well as diacritic letters. This can be done individually for each letter as well. David Philpott was inspired by the flax growing on the side of the motorway out of Wellington, New Zealand, and crafted this very distinctive, natural typeface family based on the plants.

Poeta Color is an ornamental font for making patterns and decorating text. It contains floral and nature motifs. The symbols are versatile enough for simple decoration or thematic seasonal and holiday moods. Designers can use Poeta to make unique lines, fields, borders, or ornamentation within or around text. Try replacing a basic straight line with repeated symbols. Make a background to add visual interest to a design. Use the forms to decorate a chapter title or to mark the end of a magazine article. Replace a letter in a word with a symbol to create a memorable statement. This font began with sketches of patterns seen in ceramic tiles around Sicily. It is named Poeta because Sicily is an island rich in poetry traditions. Below is some helpful technical information. Using this font is simple. Install it and type. Symbols will appear instead of letters. Choose the precise symbols through a software’s glyph palette. Use the type/character menu controls to vary the spacing and density of patterns. The Sommet superfamily has been updated with a new serifed member. Expanding on Sommet’s successful design principles, Sommet Serif is there when you need legibility for continuous text. Its interesting forms lend it to use as headlines as well. Sommet Serif is available with six weights and complementary italics and plenty of OpenType features. Sommet Serif features a tall x-height, and its letterforms are compact, perfect for when layout space is at a premium. Sommet Serif also includes oldstyle figures and small caps. Use Sommet Serif whenever you need a powerful and contemporary serif. In addition, be sure to check out the sans, rounded, and slab members of the superfamily.

A script font set based on the writings and sketches of Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin. This naturalistic writing font was based on Gauguin's notebooks from his travels to Tahiti and the South Seas. This set presents two styles of script fonts (Regular & Brush) and a set of decorative extras featuring Gauguin woodcuts, sketches and imagery from his paintings. P22 Gauguin Pro incorporates the font P22 Gauguin Regular plus over 350 additional characters including: Stylistic alternates for all characters (a-z, A-Z), Central European and Cyrillic character sets, ligatures, swash characters and many OpenType features. Gauguin Pro is an OpenType font but is bundled with Gauguin Regular and Gauguin Alternate for use in applications that do not take full advantage of OpenType fonts.

This typeface is an attempt to offer as a font the well known marvelous Hans Holbein “Death Alphabet”, first published in 1523. We have tried to preserve as much as possible the spirit and appearance of the original Initials set — incredibly fine and enriched with detailed figures — trying at the same time to create a font not too complex to be usable. Neverteless, the font files are large, and when used, the decorated initials may appear on screen more slowly than ordinary characters. (Minimum size recommended : 96 pts) We are offering here two complete standard sets (no accented characters) : Initials and capitals. We have reconstructed the missing letters : J and U, Eth, Lslash, Thorn and Oslash. The font may be used with all our Humane and Garalde fonts, like 1543 Humane Jenson or 1592 GLC Garamond and others from the GLC foundry catalog.

Linotype Compendio is a part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of the International Digital Type Design Contests from 1994 and 1997. Christian Bauer designed this font based on the basic forms of Transitional faces of the 17th century. The outer contours of the letters are purposely raw and irregular, much like alphabets printed on low-quality paper. The legibility of the font is thus reduced, making it necessary to use this font only for shorter texts or headlines, but it is exactly this characteristic which lends Linotype Compendio its distinctiveness.
