Calligraphic font born from mixing chancery cursive strokes with some copperplate gestures. Kyrenia is the italic counterpart of Agony TTW. You can combine Kyrenia’s four different styles to create the illusion of handmade, along with a lot of ligatures and some alternate endings. This four styles are Quill (the basic one), Broad (taller and stiffer), Swash (ornamental and romantic) and Monster (a hypnotic strange blend).

This is a hand drawn quick-sketch font. I wanted to create a high contrast serif in a cartoonish, kid style. It contains basic latin western and central european language extensions and accents. Looks natural and playful, and really nice on chalkboard texture as you can see on the example above. It comes with the classic default ligatures of fi, fl, ffi and ffl.

Little is known of the origin of these decorative Initial Caps. Series 448 at 24 point were a different design from the 36 point on which this digital version is based. In addition to the basic 26 characters, there is a negative version contained in the lower case position and a fill character (for two color caps) option in the number and punctuation key positions.

Foreign Skies is that hastily written brush font you're going to need, if you're looking for an authentic brush font. I am aware that Foreign Skies doesn't always meet the criteria of a professional signletteres demands of "perfect strokes" - but that is the basic idea! The Xavier family of typefaces is based on the delightful deco typeface called Ashley Crawford, originally designed in 1930 by Ashley Havinden. After designing Xavier Black (Serif) and Xavier Sans Black, I added Bold Sans, Medium and Medium Sans and finally added lowercase to the medium weights. Although more manageable than Ashley Crawford, Xavier, due to its very playful nature (splayed A, M, etc.) needs to be used with care, especially in terms of spacing. Xavier is a playful typeface and I have been particularly pleased to see it used in children's books.

The "Nostalgia" font is a dark, vintage style that includes all the basic characters (letters, numbers, and punctuation) and is very simple to read. Chop chop! VLNL Cleaver is an important tool in the Vette Letters’ kitchen. It’s a butcher knife of a font. Razor sharp, ultra heavy and with pointy slanted serifs. At first glance it seems straight-lined, but a closer look revails that all straight lines are curved inward slightly, which enhances the sharp image even more. Cleaver was originally designed by DBXL for cutting meat - hell, it even hacks right through bone. It can easily splice a chicken in one slash or seperate ribs, just like that.
