First off, Slivowitz is written with a v (SlivoVitz), rather than a w, but I liked it better with a w. Slivowitz is a plum brandy from Eastern Europe. My father used to be an international truck driver and he often had to go to Eastern Europe. He took all kinds of ‘western’ goods with him to give away (plastic bags, beer, cigarettes - remember, Eastern Europe at the time was still communist!). He always came back with bottles of Slivowitz. I never tasted it, as I was too young, but I liked the name and I decided to name this font after a fond memory! Slivowitz is an easy-going handwritten script font - it looks good on fashion items, book covers and fancy magazines, but greeting cards will look just as great. Comes with a bunch of ligatures, alternates and a whole lotta diacritics!

Mariachi is a new condensed version of our Maison Luxe font which is a revival of an old 1800's classic ornate French font. This new 2021 condensed version takes this old classic to an all new level by adding small caps, italics and a new solid black version. Mariachi is perfect for headlines and logos from advertising to product labels, t-shirt lettering and restaurant menus. Fill fonts are also part of this family, new to this font style is the half fill font for creating a two color effect on the letters, you'll need an application that works in layers to use the fill fonts in Mariachi. The regular fill font for Mariachi isn't meant to be used as a stand alone font so we've created a solid black version with thicker serifs on top and adjusted outlines throughout for a better appearance as a solo font. This font was created with math teachers in mind. It is hard to represent fractions in a way that can print easily in black and white on worksheets or tests. Rummaging through the toolbox recently, I was surprised by how many allen keys I had from years of assembling flat-pack furniture. After some experimenting with the keys to make up individual letters I was struck by their graphic quality. The typeface is defined by the slim, right-angled shape of the allen key; creating a geometrical, yet playful font. The typeface is suitable for logos and feature headings.

This is our first experience of creating serif fonts. It resulted in a modern slab serif family designed with symmetrical bracketed serifs for uprights and cursive serifs for Italics. Crafted with low contrast strokes, it makes this font versatile and can be used for text and printing. Counte contains many International diacritics and OpenType Features. It consists of 9 weight, going from Thin to Black with matching italics.

Gillies Gothic font was originally designed by William S. Gillies for Bauer'sche Schriftgiesserei. The Extra Bold Weight was designed by Freda Sack at Letraset Design Studio and later the Extra Bold Shaded was designed by Phillip Kelly at Letraset. The extravagant capitals should be used as initials with the more reserved lowercase, and the lowercase should be set closely, overlapping where possible, to reproduce the look of true handwriting.

Boldoni is like a caricature: it brings with itself exaggerated elements of the modern typefaces, that has as main names Giambattista Bodoni and François-Ambroise Didot. Boldoni takes to the limit its width and serifs, causing a ultra fat type feeling, and its styles causes a monochromatic effect that remember the colors Black, Gray and White. Boldoni is good for titles, initials, drop caps, lettering, posters and vertical writing.

This playful offering, suggestive of Cooper Black on some serious drugs, is based on the so-called “California” style of lettering used extensively in travel posters of the 30s to the 50s. This version is based on its interpretation by Carl Holmes in a Walter T. Foster artbook entitled ABC of Lettering. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

I designed this font because it didn't exist - it’s based on hand rendered type created for black and white line marker scamps used in the advertising industry. I use it that way and it’s saved me a LOT of hand-rendering time over the years. Of course, Scamps works as an informal marker script in its own right too.
