Within the pages of an early-1900s instructional book on show card lettering was found a marvelous example of an alphabet that typifies the Art Nouveau movement of the era and served as the inspiration for Nouveau Riche JNL. In 1496, he used a new roman typeface to print the book de Aetna, a travelogue by the popular writer Pietro Bembo.
