Clarks is a modular typeface built from a work by Lygia Clark, one of the giants of Brazilian postwar art. Inspired by show card lettering and the more human side of art deco, I wanted this font to retain the casual unevenness of informal hand lettering. As decorative as the font looks, I do envision it being used for text more than display. Obviously not a workhorse, but rather a quirky niche font.
