Hauser Script is a freely drawn brush script typeface, which was designed in 1936 by George Hauser for Ludlow. Hauser took advantage of the slanting matrices of the Ludlow machine to create what is possibly the most informal of American brush scripts. Steve Jackaman of International TypeFounders, Inc. (ITF) digitally engineered the typeface in 1998. Hauser Script has a graceful, calligraphic look that brings class to any project at display and subhead sizes.

American Type Founders released the pattern for this typeface under the name "Thermotype". In the days of cast-metal foundry type, copyfitting headlines could prove problemmatic at times; this typeface, with a wide uppercase and narrower lowercase of exactly the same “color”, allowed stacked lines of type to be composed with uniform width. Clean, crisp and practical. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

This is a stylized sans serif font family that is very high-waisted and sleek. The stroke is only slightly modulated. The letterforms are higher, with a more open aperture, and sprinkled with breaks to add light and sparkle. This an attempt at a readable sans serif for text. ITC Eastwood is the work of British designer Martin Archer and is named for Clint Eastwood. Archer was looking for a plain oldstyle typeface with open lower case forms and used Stempel Garamond as his starting point, although the result ended up well beyond its origins. In small point sizes the typeface looks interestingly rough while at display sizes it looks like a 16th century French typeface and its unique details come forward.

Goudy Stout was designed by Frederic W. Goudy in 1930. This version was created by Vincent Connare while at Microsoft. Goudy Stout is a decorative typeface that is quite unusual, a novelty of sorts among Goudy's many typographic achievements. The Goudy Stout font is considered a frivolous typeface. Goudy wrote In a moment of typographic weakness I attempted to produce a 'black' letter that would interest those advertisers who like the bizarre in their print."

The original Carbon is a popular face at T26. It was released in 2003 under influence of modern typewriter and OCR typeface. Here is my font with carved out letters, like a really bad stamp. Each lowercase letter has 3 different versions, and that makes your text more natural, organic and handmade. Normally I kern my fonts throughout, but this time there is no kerning at all...and that's odd, when we're not talking about monospaced fonts. Anyway, Bottle Fork has its flaws and jumpy x-height...but that's exactly the charm of it all! :)
