Janna is designed by Lebanese designer Nadine Chahine. It is based on the Kufi style but incorporates aspects of Ruqaa and Naskh in the letter form designs. This results in what could be labeled as a humanist Kufi, a Kufi style that refers to handwriting structures and slight modulation to achieve a more informal and friendly version of the otherwise highly structured and geometric Kufi styles. Janna, which means heaven" in Arabic was first designed in 2004 as a signage face for the American University of Beirut. So, the design is targeted towards signage applications but is also quite suited for various applications from low resolution display devices to advertising headlines to corporate identity and branding applications. The Latin companion to Janna is Adrian Frutiger's Avenir which is included also in the font. The font also includes support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu as well as proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages."

Galano Classic is the display companion of the Galano Grotesque family. Like the Grotesque family, it also pays tribute to the geometric shapes of Futura, Avant Garde, Avenir and the like. However, instead of that family’s modern interpretation of the geometric genre, Galano Classic prefers to stay in the past, a tendency characterized by a moderate x-height and details like the long stretched leg of uppercase “R”, as well as the traditional shaped lowercase “g”, to mention only a few details. Galano Classic, compared to Galano Grotesque, includes lots of redesigned glyphs and consequently adjusted kerning pairs, an extended number of alternative characters, ligatures and opentype features to match a great many design applications. P22 Saarinen is a typeface based on the architectural lettering of Finnish American architect Eero Saarinen.The Saarinen fonts were created to help commemorate the 75th anniversary of Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, NY, which was designed by Saarinen in collaboration with his father Eliel Saarinen and is recognized as one of the greatest concert halls ever built in the United States. When designing a typeface, one has to be conscious of superfluous details. Although I am always tempted to add little personal touches, experience taught me that the phrase -less is more- is totally true. In Model, the letters (like models do) participated of a contest: An event in which models engage in competition against each other, often for a prize or similar incentive. The prize was staying in the font! yay! Tall, delicate, refined, the right amount of elegancy: These were some of the aspects to be chosen. Typographically speaking, these things were achieved thanks to a tall x-height (which leaded the font to be somehow condensed), a subtle contrast between thicks and thins, and just the right amount of decorative swirls. The result is a nice script that can be used in magazines, invitations, posters, book-covers and works very well when used over photographs. Get Model and let it be the star of the catwalk. STYLES Model Pro and Model Small Pro are the most complete styles of the font. Both have all the ligatures and decorative glyphs seen in posters above (OT programmed). Model Std One, Std Two and Std Three are reduced versions of Pro. This means they have less glyphs inside. A 1934 advertisement for the Roney Plaza Hotel at 23rd Street and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach yielded the inspiration for Tropical Tourist JNL. This stylish stout script was originally issued in the 1930s under the name “Fulgor” by the spanish foundry Fundición Gans. Cursory research suggests that Saks-Fifth Avenue found it suitably snooty to use extensively in its newspaper ads of that period. Perhaps somewhat ironically, this version takes its name from one of comedian W. C. Fields' many odd aliases.
