Beata is a delicate, attenuated design with elegant proportions, modeled on the fifteenth-century inscription by Bernardo Rossellino for the Tomb of Beata Villana in Santa Maria Novella, in Florence. The font, consisting of caps and small caps, was designed by Garrett Boge and Paul Shaw in 1997. Beata is part of the LetterPerfect Florentine Set.

Inspired by the Froben capitals believed to have been cut by Peter Schoeffer the Younger, son of Gutenberg’s apprentice, this design is neither strictly a Venetian nor an Aldine. The archaic approach and lack of the Aldine model lead us to place the face in the Venetian group. The design owes more to Goudy than to Schoeffer.

Eastport JNL is the interpretation by Jeff Levine Fonts’ of the classic Stymie Extra Bold (a/k/a Stymie Black), designed in 1931 for American Type Founders by Morris Fuller Benton. Stymie and the somewhat similar Beton were both derivations of the popular European typeface Memphis. Eastport JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This family was inspired by numerous documents and books printed in Paris during the end of the 1700s. Mainly, documents printed by P.G. Simon & N.H. In France these Fournier characters, as Baskerville in Great Britain, were the most often in use in the late 1700s, just before the Didot designs. Nipok is a single weight display typeface, inspired by the aesthetics of different decades. Rounded terminals and playful intersections from the 60’s and 70’s, joined with straight and compact lines from the 80’s and 90’s. Gageac is a classic "Didona" font, characterized by an extreme contrast in the thick and thin strokes, by the use of short serifs, and by the vertical stress of the letters. This typeface is slightly condensed, the ascenders were lowered, the thick strokes were exaggerated and enriched with a full set of OpenType features of tails, ligatures, alternates and swashes, giving them an excellent legibility and a very clear and elegant appearance. 
The italic version is a true "italic" so some glyphs were adjusted. Gageac Italic was carefully designed and drawn to be combined with Gageac Regular.

Bookkeeper JNL is based on the lighter weight version of R. Hunter Middleton's 'Karnak', produced in 1936 for Ludlow. "Karnak" itself was based on the geometric slab-serif "Memphis", designed in 1929 by Dr. Rudolf Wolf and released originally by the Stempel Type Foundry of Germany. According to Wikipedia, "Karnak" "was named after the Karnak Temple Complex in Egypt, in reference to the fact that early slab serifs were often called "Egyptians" as an exoticism by nineteenth-century type founders." Available in both regular and oblique versions, Bookkeeper JNL serves well as both a headline and text type face.

Skaryna 2017 Title is a revival of the original typeface designed and cut by Francisk Skaryna in 1517–1519. Skaryna 2017 Title is designed to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the original work by Francisk Skaryna (lat. Franciscus Scorina de Poloczko) — scientist and educator from Polotsk (current Belarus). The original designs contain only Cyrillic characters. So Latin and additional characters were added to make the legacy of Francisk available for the World. The revival was designed to stay close to the original and remain a little bit inaccurate as early Renaissance printing technologies were. This project was sponsored by Anton Bryl.

Weiss Modern Gothic is the first digital re-creation with a lot of improvements of a late seventies well-known edited typeface by Bauer. At the time known as Weiss Initials Extra Bold or Weiß Modern Gothik, the design was inspired by the famous Weiß Initialen N°2 drawn by Emil Rudolf Weiß (1875-1942); also father of the non-less famous "Neuland" typeface. Strangely, this beauty seemed abandoned while sister-flared faces like Friz Quadrata, Flange, Serif Gothic or Romic are in a new wave of revival. Hoping this one will not again disappear...
