QUIPO is a typeface based on my recent survey (Freeflow) on hand drawn logotypes used by American and English pop groups in the 60-70s. We thought it an interesting project and a free flow exercise to design this particular font just in capitals and well... yes it’s rather ‘bulky’. Cantiga is a monophonic song or melody, sometimes repetitive, often with unpretentious themes. In the same simplicity, this font family combines robustness with some very fine details, with 44 versions for various purposes. Choose thinner (or thicker) versions for titles, and intermediate versions (normal, medium, etc.) to small sizes. Explore the condensed versions when you need to save space. Alice is a formal fantasy font. It’s inspired in the fairy tales and magical lands that my mother used to tell me as a child when I went to sleep. The capitals are really nice and complex, while the minuscules are cleaner for easier reading. The style Curly uses some features of the normal uppercase letters in the lowercase ones. There are some minor, yet noticable, flaws in a number of characters that will need correction for signage/vinyl letter cuts (characters appx. 2-1/2" and larger).

Saint Malo... etc. an historic guidebook for a journey through a part of (French) Brittany in 1820, and many other books. The present version contains 1820 Modern Normal and Italic, 1820 Modern Large Normal and 1820 Modern Narrow Normal, each style with small caps. This font may be used together with 1906 French News and/or 1906 Titrage.
