Finding my long-lost inkwell was a lucky moment for me and it resulted in a whole bunch of brushy/inky fonts. The latest font to leak out of this well is Knockdown. It is a bold and wild brushface, but very legible. Use if for your posters, book covers and T-shirts! Or, whatever else you like. Comes with a KO of diacritics.

Here's a faithful rendering of the slightly quirky, but thoroughly yeomanlike headline face Basuto, designed by Stanley Baxter and released by the Stephenson Blake Type Foundry in 1927. Bold, brassy and a little sassy, this one will perk up your headlines fer sure. Both versions include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, as well as localization for Moldovan and Romanian.

Starting the new year with a new font. We present something different. The font this time has a straight-line theme. This font is inspired by the lamp style of the past few years. Elongated incandescent lamp. We combine aesthetic and elegant styles in the preview. Actually suitable also for styles in neon form. But we're taking a little dive into the style of today's design trends.

Cheddar Gothic Rough is a hand-drawn, textured display all-caps typeface with condensed proportions. Sadina™ CA is a small caps version of Sadina™ font family, designed separately to minimize the font incompatibility for applications that cannot support this feature. Generally, some applications support this feature, but not exactly with the right stems. Don't be afraid to taste something sugar free - most times you will be surprised how good it tastes! My Sugar Free font may not look as very much at first glance - but play around with the Regular and Italic versions (and notice the 4 different versions of each letter, that automatically cycles as you type!) and you will see how lively the font is!

Inspired by show card lettering and the more human side of art deco, I wanted this font to retain the casual unevenness of informal hand lettering. As decorative as the font looks, I do envision it being used for text more than display. Obviously not a workhorse, but rather a quirky niche font. I find it makes dense philosophic texts more friendly to read.

Futureboy is my ALL-CAPS worn comic font. At first glance it may look monospaced, but it's not! Despite its worn look and jumpy baseline/x-height, it is surprisingly legible. Use it for your comics, invitations, posters or perhaps flyers! The font uses contextual alternates - each letter has 4 different versions which automatically cycles as you type. Of course there is multilingual support! :)

Scrawny Cat is a bit of an unusual font: it was made with a brush and some China ink and has no real baseline. It is messy yet legible and in a strange way beautiful. The font is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be freely interchanged. Comes with a litter of diacritics and some cool end-ligatures to boot.

No mystery here: this typeface is based on the not-often-seen Cooper Black Swash Italic, designed by Oswald Bruce Cooper. Swash variants are the norm with this font, but enabling Contextual Alternates will prevent collisions between the swash “tails” and letters with descenders. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Based on the typeface Lunda originally made by Karl Erik Forsberg , (1914–1998) in 1941. The name Lunda was a tribute to Berlingska Stilgjuteriet in Lund, a Swedish type foundry (1837–1980) which supported him from the start. The design is close to the original but some significant details have been changed. Several signs are designed from scratch. An additional bold weight has been added.

Perigord has mixed origins. It was inspired by Gutenberg’s capitals and by lettering developed by German designer Ernst Bentele, but its calligraphic antecedents go back to French initials of the Carolingian period. The result of this is a formal, attractive and antique look which we hope you'll like. The full version includes alternate forms for many of the letters, as well as numbers and punctuation.

Project Soft is the more playful version of our 2017 release, Project Sans. The font features the same 10 weights and matching italics but while the Sans version was more structured, the Soft version shows a cheeky side that creates a vast array of potential. The font still features substantial language support as well as specifically designed italics that feature a unique look for certain characters.

This display font has an oriental character reminiscent of brush stroke calligraphy and all things Japanese. My original working title for this font was ‘Spanner’, because the lower case ‘c’, with which the design began, looked rather like the head of a spanner. I originally had in mind something more mechanical, but as it evolved and developed the font itself obviously had other ideas!

Hackbot is a font which is both retro-inspired and amusing to the eye. The gaps between the letterings allows you to feel vintage and travel back to the old times. Caslon Antique was designed by Berne Nadall and brought out by the American type foundry Barnhart Bros & Spindler in 1896 to 1898. It doesn’t bear any resemblance to Caslon, but has the quaint crudeness of what people imagine type looked like in the eighteenth century. Use Caslon Antique for that “old-timey” effect in graphic designs. It looks best in large sizes for titles or initials.

Wittenbach is based on lettering by Rudolf Koch which really embodies the essence of classic gothic-style poster lettering of the 1920s. It brings together the traditional style of gothic lettering and a strong, more modern sensibility characteristic of Koch's work and his era. It is very vertical and stylized, but also extraordinarily attractive without the harshness of many of the designs of that period.

Oculi Magni is a new sans serif type family of 8 weights with italics. This font was specially designed for the composition of texts in small size as captions or footnotes but the thin and black weights can also be used in display sizes. The x-height, as tall as possible, allows the composition of very tight, very dense texts while maintaining a perfect readability.

Willy is a typeface with a wink. This display font is based on existing piquant form from the immediate vicinity. It is sexy, if you have an eye for. But it also should not be taken too seriously, especially because it has a humorous slant. The font has its origins in an art project. It’s not often a vintage cartoon can inspire a type design, but such is the case when the name “Daffy Duck” is hand lettered on a mailbox in the 1946 Warner Brothers cartoon “The Great Piggy Bank Robbery” (famously being a send-up of the popular Dick Tracy comic strip by Chester Gould). Mail Route JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

BlusterLeft and BlusterRight are distortions of the font ConcavexCaps. Both are caps only, but some of the shapes on the lower-case keys differ from the corresponding shapes on the upper-case keys. They family was named Bluster because I thought they have a wind-blown, flopping-in-the-breeze look. Others may see them as spooky or eerie, something that could be used for Halloween.

Grand Heist is a bold and unique display typeface, fully equipped with basic and Western European Latin characters, numbers, punctuation, some symbols and special characters. Hera Big is a type family in eight weights & 16 fonts. The family explores the motion and fluidity of the ball serif, in an evolution from its previous identity as a counterpart to the slab serif. Informed by great fat-faces from Figgins to Lubalin, but never deferring to precedent by default, Hera is a fresh mix of originality and organic form, never sacrificing function for beauty.

Allineato was part of the Face2Face project, a fontlabel created with a couple of friend in order to stimulate new ideas and forms in the typographical landscape. Most of the Typefaces were used by Alexander Branczyk in his famous techno magazine "Frontpage". About Allineato: "Al" means "Alessio Leonardi" and Lineato "lined", but if you read it as an italian world means "conformed to a given line".

In 1995, when indie rock hipness was just reaching its pique, Chank was really into Jawbox, a post-punk band from DC. It was their music he was listening to when he made this font for the Space Ghost web site. The band broke up in 1997, but the font named in their honor lives on. This font family includes Jawbox, Jawbox Chanky, and Jawbreaker.

From the technical hand of Alejandro Paul and the creative jungle in the mind of Angel Koziupa, comes a wild-natured script. Alma may appear slightly weathered, but still maintains a sharp and determined face. The casual strokes are at times pointed, yet ultimately playful. Released in OpenType format to expand possibilities of use with lots of alternates when used with OpenType-aware applications such as AdobeCS.

Steve Jackaman & Ashley Muir. Packard New Style is a smooth version of the lettering drawn by Oswald Cooper for the Packard Motor Company (ATF 1913). The bold weight is credited to Morris Fuller Benton (ATF 1916), but it is highly probable that Benton did the adaptation for both weights. Packard New Style Pro contains all the high-end features expected in a quality OpenType Pro font.

Peanut is a face full of bounce and playfulness but is based on the traditions of the long revered Roman minuscule. The letters are unique in that they imply “youth” without relying on cliché child-like letterforms. Peanut and Peanut Sans come in a ‘Salted’ style which features many alternate letterforms. Both the Salted and regular styles are combined into in the Pro fonts.

It's not a new idea, but it's always a fun one... a typeface comprised of 35mm film frames. Film Crew JNL is Jeff Levine's version, utilizing his Koehler Sans JNL as the lettering inside the frames. The lesser and greater keys have solid black frames for end caps or word spacing, and there's an alternate pair of frames with clear centers on the brace keys.

I like strange words. Widdershins is one of them: it means ‘to go counter clockwise’ and I picked it up from a book I am reading at the moment. Widdershins font was created using a broken bamboo satay skewer and Chinese ink. It is a little messy, uneven and maybe even unnerving, but I am sure you’ll find a way to put it to good use.

Frozen Memory is a heavy-boned cartoon display font. Even though it was completely made by hand (using a roller ball pen and some quality paper), it has a clean look, crisp lines and generous curves. Merkén is a typeface inspired in the Slab Serif fonts designed by Vincent Figgins in the early 20th century: his famous designs; Antique and Egiziano, were the main references when developing this project. The typeface is perfect for headlines, medium length texts, branding and advertising. His original set is strong and spicy but it also has an alternative set which is cursive and kind.

Reverie is a cheerful band of letters that bounce across the page and get together to create words in three weights.
