Lust Sans is the penultimate exploration of producing a high-contrast sans wholly influenced by its bracketed ancestor. The aspect of this endeavor I enjoyed the most was finding sneaky ways to infuse warmth and whimsy into the letterforms when you least expect it. The result, however, is subtle and uniquely balances against Lust and Lust Didone without becoming cold and overbearing. To accomplish this, Lust Sans has 6 weights. What I found during development was, based on any setting where Lust or Lust Didone were in the same layout, the amount of contrast shown with Lust Sans needed to be adjusted. Expanding the weight offering, produces opportunities for Lust Sans to modulate the rhythm of the layout comfortably while keeping contrast—this is even more obvious with the Italics. I love those. You will too. If you don’t, you do not have a soul. Not sorry. The Lust Collection is the culmination of 5 years of exploration and development, and I am very excited to share it with everyone. When the original Lust was first conceived in 2010 and released a year and half later, I had planned for a Script and a Sans to accompany it. The Script was released about a year later, but I paused the Sans. The primary reason was the amount of feedback and requests I was receiving for alternate versions, expansions, and ‘hey, have you considered making?’ and so on. I listen to my customers and what they are needing… and besides, I was stalling with the Sans. Like Optima and other earlier high-contrast sans, they are difficult to deliver responsibly without suffering from ill-conceived excess or timidity. The new Lust Collection aggregates all of that past customer feedback and distills it into 6 separate families, each adhering to the original Lust precept of exercises in indulgence and each based in large part on the original 2010 exemplars produced for Lust. I just hate that it took so long to deliver, but better right, than rushed, I imagine.

Strima is a geometric sans serif typeface that stands for minimalism and legibility. With over 1000 glyphs and extensive language support Strima offers full professional typographic features. The Strima family consists of 4 weights: light, book, medium and bold.

Boomtown is a bold, slightly cursive font for advertising, headlines, packaging design, signposts or posters. Although it is highly constructed, it has some handwriting attributes, too. An italic font is in my planning and maybe a light style, too.

Deco Bevel is a filter font based on Deco, an original Open Window classic. It came about while I was experimenting with light and shadows using 3D rendering software and Photoshop. Its ideal use is as a display font.

Toscography is inspired by vernacular and naive hand-painted walls and signs from Brazil. It feels organic, spontaneous and fresh and it has a light texture on its characters that makes it feel like it is starting to decay.

You can also match it with a serif or sans serif fonts and use it as a secondary font in web design, magazines and branding.

I ran prints of the font, through a very bad copymachine, used a wet cloth to make the print look worn, scanned the prints and voila! Retrozoid, my very first Open Type font, was born! This frivolous 6-font typeface was inspired by playing with my food one evening. I began to wonder what it would be like to draw a typeface with a pipette and liquid... the result is Fluid. A key feature are the contextual alternates that substitute an alternate second glyph when typing double letters, this gives a more natural feel to the resulting text. A new year has begun, new resolutions have been made. Fresh ideas are popping up and a new life is about to begin. All in all, I figured New Beginnings was the perfect name for my first font in 2016. It is a very happy, very original typeface. All caps, but upper and lower glyphs differ and can be interchanged. New Beginnings font can be used virtually anywhere, but children’s books and product packaging spring to mind. Comes with an abundance of diacritics.

Crassula is a versatile display font. Like the plant of the same name (Crassula, jade tree, money plant), which has thick juicy leaves, the font is distinguished by rounded contours and smoothed out forms of elements. Stylistic Alternates offer more traditional letter shapes and make Crassula more readable in long texts. Six weights allow a broad range of applications - from informal book and magazine headlines to emotional marketing ads. The font was designed by Natalia Vasilyeva and released by ParaType in 2018.

HGB Memento was designed to replace 12 bronze plaques with the names of those who died in World War I. The 12 plaques were stolen in 2016. Stone tablets were made on which the original writing was engraved using sandblasting. Memento is therefore suitable for commemorative plaques and for texts of a sacred nature. Extremely short ascenders and descenders allow very narrow lines. The design language of the Memento comes from the 1920s with echoes of Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Eleganta is a beautiful calligraphic script typeface. It was drawn and created by Misti Hammers and Måns Grebäck in 2019. As the name implies, it is first and foremost an elegant letter style, but with its handcrafted shapes reserved, it is still down-to-earth and affectionate. Odenburgh is a Medieval-style calligraphy typeface. Hand-drawn by Måns Grebäck during 2018-2020, this high-quality lettering is inspired by historical Gaelic, British and Irish handwriting. An informal decorative sans serif was designed by Gennady Fridman and released by ParaType in 2004. Based on informal lettering. In Russian 'Zubilo' means 'Cold cutter' or 'Chisel'. Colorful letterforms seems to be cut by an amateurish but strong hand used to operate with rough metal tools, not with pen or pencil. The face is good for use in advertisements, posters and headlines, especally for comic editions and youth press. Decorative styles were added in 2011 by the same author.

Bombarda is a big gun, and surely a font named like that must have specific dimensions in order to make the text sound loud and powerful. Due to extreme thickness of basic strokes and of maximum possible serifs it will look great on the cover of a comic book, colorful splash screens of computer games as well as other applications where the title should have particular weight. The font was designed by Alexander Lubovenko and released by ParaType in 2016.

Bungehuis font was modeled on the lettering found on an Amsterdam art deco building from 1931. This building on the Spuistraat, also called "Het Bungehuis", used to house offices, but is now part of the University of Amsterdam. In 2015 it had its brief moment of fame, when students, demanding more democracy at the University, occupied it. Bungehuis is a heavy art deco font and would look great on posters and in headlines. It comes with a rather democratic range of diacritics.

WOLFSZN Anniversary! WOLFSZN is the tenth Font of André Toet. The inspiration for this capital alphabet came from the trails of an agricultural machine (think tractor) leaves in the soil after working the land. But it’s not meant to be ‘like a heavy workload’, in fact to us it seems like a very useful Font for headings, logotypes, advertising or films. In October 2010 I released a font called “Zanoix” It was based upon a an old horror movie poster. I looked through and old folder, and found the font that served as a base for this the grungy font. Zonaix is opposite to Zanoix, because it is super clean, pointy and is made entirely of straight lines! With the sharp pointed serifs and whacky lines, it is a good choice for a legible seriffed font - not necessarily for anything scary!

Benjammin' is a handwritten sans-serif font. My 12 year old brother wrote this font himself, and it would be great for any kid's design or project! - Contains over 200 accented characters for language support.
