This is the Cased version of my NorB Pen fonts are being inspired from Arial Round font, I use this font regularly in my jazz lead-sheets. It's a handwritten text font emulating marker permanent pen. You can use this font with any word processing program for text and display use, print and web projects, apps and comic books, graphic identities, branding, editorial, advertising, scrapbooking, cards and invitations and any casual lettering purpose… or even just for fun! Pen cased font8 weights, each with their matching italics and in a Light, Normal, Bold and Heavy version.

Found within the pages of the 1934 edition of the American Type Foundry’s “Book of American Type” is a sans serif design with rounded terminals that emulates a typewriter face. “Jumbo Typewriter” is reminiscent of the type of lettering formerly found on teletype news copy. “Teletype” was a division of Western Electric (part of AT&T), and the machines utilized telephone lines to electronically type and send (as well as receive) messages worldwide. Many folks will remember the sound of teletype machines in the background when radio stations had their news breaks. Nowie Vremena is a sequel to a previously released Vremena Grotesk, a sans serif typeface, inspired by Arial’s apalling combination of grubby tidiness. The sequel travels back in time and explores Arial’s elder brothers and some 19th century sans serifs, through initial concept of hectic neutrality.

A robust rectangular sans with round corners and subtle rounded stroke terminals, Kallisto weds a rational, machine-made aesthetic with a certain warmth that derives from more familiar letter shapes found on diestamped or embossed boilerplate signs.

The block style lettering with rounded corners found on a package for model railroad kit parts was the inspiration for Model Railroad JNL.
