RyuGothic Family is a humanistic interpretation of the Hangul Gothic style. It delivers messages in a soft, calm tone that does not overpower. Each font includes: 2,350 Hangul syllables, the smallest unit for expressing modern Korean; Latin Basic; punctuation; symbols for Korean codepage. Cyrillic, Greek, and Kana alphabets were excluded. The punctuation is designed in the preferred location for Korean typesetting.

Of course its rendering depends on the printing support, screen resolution etc. Therefore, take it as a suggestion or a starting point; make your own trials. And now, the pièce de résistance: Operetta unveils its italics, adding yet another layer of allure and sophistication.

The 1920s Art Nouveau movement spawned a number of beautiful hand lettered pieces of sheet music from that era. Attractive and narrow, the characters found on the title page of one such piece of music was the inspiration for Easy Money JNL.

FT Drobbs is inspired by the Didot font group, known for its neoclassical style reminiscent of the Age of Enlightenment. The font includes a combination of very narrow and very wide lines. FT Drobbs features increased contrast between wide and narrow lines and includes rich teardrop endings. I love to watch how the lines bend, how they move, expanding or going into the thickness of the hair. I love their graceful beauty. FT Drobbs is not alphabetic, but it contains numbers, a set of basic currency symbols, and a few typographic characters. It is suitable for use as accents in labels, posters and infographics.

Depot New Condensed is the space-saving complement to Depot New. With a narrower footprint it still contains all the non nonsense sturdy appeal of Depot New, making it an ideal addition to any Designers font collection.

IngyArrows is a set of three fonts with three sets of arrows, with one of them a blend of the other two, where normally there are standard numbers, letters, and punctuation marks. The revision of 2011 added many of the arrows that exist in several places in the unicode codings and that cannot be accessed by normal keystrokes.

Another bit of font inspiration came to the attention of Jeff Levine through his friend Gene Gable. An image of vintage packaging for Aquapruf Ear Drum Protectors (swimmer's ear plugs) offered the narrow and condensed lettering that is the basis for Slim Chance JNL.

Segment A is a powerful display type family with 18 styles inspired by condensed European grotesques of 19th-century, but with clear geometric proportions. In Black weights, the letterforms are inspired by the aggressive industrial graphic design of the 1960s and 70s. Both have 3 axes and are adjustable in weight, width and 10˚ italic. It is a typeface with narrow proportions, distinctive character, high-quality outline and lots of details. Characters have oblique cuts, sharp tails and highly visible ink traps. All this makes the font more aggressive and edgy. The huge x-height with short ascenders and descenders allows this typeface to be used in blocks with minimal line spacing. This Bodoni caps only font was an experiment from Dave Farey how tall such a Bodoni could be elongated in its design. It reminds to the look of a fence, but in large sizes it may fit on a narrow window.

Chillight is a serif typeface that is unique and has character, having a narrow, sharp width and ends. making it effective when used at large sizes for logotypes or headlines.

Mediator Serif is a balanced contemporary serif typeface that performs well both in display sizes (like in packaging or branding) and body text (books or periodicals where narrow styles will be extremely useful). Mediator Serif is a complementary serif face for Mediator Sans. The family contains 32 fonts in 2 widths: 8 romans with matching italics, of slightly extended proportions, from Thin to Black; and 8 narrow styles with matching italics too. The character set in all faces was expanded to include small caps and old style figures. The typeface was designed by Manvel Shmavonyan with the participation of Alexander Lubovenko and released by ParaType in 2017.

My latest typeface is a formal, copperplate script named Glade. Beginning as a project for a client who wanted several widths of a formal script style, the project never saw fruition. However, it did get me excited about the idea of a width family of steel nib scripts, ranging from extra narrow to extra wide, and the result is the Glade family. To give Glade a minor modern makeover from the original intent, the lowercase has been scaled up, and the Capitals scaled down for a more friendly personality. The character set has been expanded, and OpenType support has been added for unlimited fractions, ordinals, superiors and inferiors. So if you have the need for a formal connecting script, but are short on space, try Glade Narrow or Glade Extra Narrow. If space is not an issue, then the Regular, Wide or the generously gracious Extra Wide should do nicely. And if you get the whole family, well then you are set for anything that comes your way.

Cascabel was built on a modular harmony and creates visibly maze-like geometric structures. When typeset in complete words, it conveys an unmistakable architectural approach to a design project. Pisang means banana in Malay and Bahasa Indonesia. It is a tall, narrow and very clear font, ideal for books, recipes, food labeling and posters. It comes with a full range of diacritics and some interesting alternates for the closed glyphs as well.
