A calligraphic script font Millettre is the last member of the trilogy of types designed by Lyudmila Mikhailova. First two fonts Milanette and Milafleur were released earlier. The font is based on author's lettering artworks which she did for many years for companies who produced greeting cards. The characters of the font have rough contours simulating lettering by a pointed pen on a rough paper. The character set covers standard Western, Central European and Cyrillic code pages. The default version of the font is presented by disconnected script, but connected variant is also included and organized as an alternative stylistic set. Fox is a completely new typeface based on my previously designed Fox family font, which has been in distribution by T26 type foundry since 2001. Old Fox typeface design decisions were reconsidered in a way to improve legibility without sacrificing its originality. This new Fox family consists two subfamilies: Fox TRF and Fox Sans TRF. Fox TRF is upright italic typeface with light, regular and bold weight styles. The most distinguished Fox characteristic is the lowercase letters. Their curly, playful and vivid letter forms were derived from handwritten lettering then carefully shaped and adapted onto sans serif category. Steelplate Gothic Pro is a sans serif font family with traditional and drop shadow weights. It shares letterform similarities to conventional Copperplate Gothic families, but has no spur serif endings. Most of the original designs came from the Western Type Foundry when BB&S acquired it in 1918; all were cut by Robert Wiebking. It was recast in 1954 by American Type Founders (ATF). Steve Jackaman (ITF) designed and produced a digital version of the original single weight in 1997. Breakers is a sans serif originally conceived to be a display typeface. Works great in text also, but the diversity in weights is its strong point. It is easy to achieve that high contrast using thin against the ultra weight, but setting tall and lean capitals against the compact and heavy small caps can make really diverse compositions for all kinds of display design. With small caps included, and over 600 glyphs in each weight, it should prove itself useful in finding the right combination for any typographic setting. This font family is display sans-serif with different stylistic layers available as open type font. The main characters are geometric and neutral but when we change the contextual alternates open type feature the letterforms activate the cursive stylish set. The word composition is divided by initial, medial and final forms, available for all uppercase and lowercase, the diacritics for Latin encodings (Western and central Europe and Baltic countries) are available. However the contextual alternate features (cursive mode) can only work on Adobe CS Indesign and Illustrator softwares. This typeface also has uppercase swash and stylish alternates. A large group of discretionary ligatures are also available to improve better legibility and readability on specific characters combinations, giving a natural and simple solution.

My first font for the summer of 2009, Abrect is a new sans serif font where I try to maximize the x-height and keep the design fresh and personal. It fits in with my continuing objective of designing book fonts that I can really use. Abrect is a tangent for me just taking an idea out to its end. In particular, it is a radical modification of my first font in 1993, Nuevo Litho. The hand-drawn shapes vary a lot, many pushing the boundaries of the normal character. With many of the new releases I see, the digital perfection is getting pretty extreme. It’s looking like a Rococo stage of development for many with decoration taking over from function. I'm consciously trying to head a different direction. This is not a normal font for me in that it has caps, lowercase, with the appropriate figures for each case, no small caps. This is the first time I have skipped small caps in over a decade. This font has all the OpenType features in the display set for 2009 except for the small caps. There are several ligatures for your fun and enjoyment: bb gg ff fi fl ffi ffl ffy fj ft tt ty Wh Th and more and many of them are experimental in form. Enjoy!

Spiggie is a sans-serif, whose name came to me on a Shetland beach. The beach traces a tight curve between the shoreline and the sea paralleled in the fonts controlled yet smooth character. The design language reaches back to the art deco period and the 1920s, yet retains a distinct modern flavor.

With packaging in the back of my mind I created Crema only in one specific weight. But there are 3 styles from the connected Forte to the quiet Piano. You can see Schoko the other packaging scripts I designed everywhere in the supermarkets. And I am looking forward to see Crema as well.

One good pun is worth a simple description… Nondescript JNL… 'Non' - not. 'de' - of, in Spanish. script - a cursive (handwritten) letter form. So… while nondescript generally means lacking any defining description, in this case it also means "not of a script"… which is precisely what a typeface such as this one is!

Two word examples (“nice” and “bud”) from the J.G. Cooley & Co.’s Specimens of Wood Type catalog for the typeface ‘Roman Triple Extra Condensed Fifty Line’ offered only seven letters to work with. Despite this lack of characters, it inspired Compressed Wood JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Archemy is a restricted and obscure branch of Alchemy that deals specifically with the life, generation and transmutation of Metals. The Archemy font is primarily a magical and alchemical alphabet. It was created on initiative of Senior Zadith, in order to properly quote older alchemical manuscripts, without the need to insert handwritten symbols. The font combines a unique and elegant Roman alphabet with a set of the most frequently used planetary and alchemical symbols that are common in the Western Mystery Tradition, and as used by those involved in the Royal Art. Well, I recently heard the song "Even flow" by Pearl Jam and took a trip down memory lane - back to my early twenties. I remember how the lyrics affected me, and had an impact on how my life changed the years to follow. Maybe the style of the font does not reflect the inner meaning of the song, but it does reflect a look back in time for me - and the change that took place. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the somewhat simple, handmade style of Like Butterflies and the 4 versions that works very well together! Geometrically constructed fonts do not necessarily have to be pointed and angular; It also works consistently around. And if I say it consistently, then in this case, that's done consistently. The basis for the BOULE is the circle. The letters are drawn with constant line width, the “corners“ and endings all have the same radius, the lines are all the same thickness.
