Madelican is a beautiful combination of modern and classical calligraphy, inspired by the handwriting of Italian women and ancient manuscripts. I think calligraphy has an advantage for the alternate characters, Madelican has tons of possibilities for just one letter. My exploration of this fonts was not as easy as in my imagination, it took several trial and errors for the perfect balance of the style. Madelican is very suitable for weddings, book covers, greeting cards, logos, branding, business cards and certificates, even for any design work that requires a classic, formal or luxurious touch. Almost all letters have more alternate than others, it is fine because the limitations of the shape of the letters. It must be readable and legible. Every letter that I've chose are only the best on it and fit with the character style. Multi-lingual support and up to 16 stylistic alternates. If you do not have programs that support OpenType features like Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw X Versions, you can access all alternative flying machines using Font Book (Mac) or Character Map (Windows). Aceituna means ‘olive’ in Spanish. It comes from the Arabic Al-Zeitoun. I am multi-tasking today: finishing this font and thinking about what to cook for my family tonight (yes, I am the one who cooks!). We normally eat Asian food, but I was toying with the idea of serving something Mediterranean and realised we had run out of olives. So there you have it: the super simple trick of naming a new font! But enough of cooking: Aceituna font was made with a Japanese brush pen. It is a very versatile font: tall and thin, elegant and a little messy. A hint of texture and, like olives, it goes with almost anything.

My Left Hand is exactly what it is...well, not my actual flesh-and-blood left hand but my actual handwriting, and I know that it really is My Left Hand because people tell me all the time, "You're left-handed!" When I hear people say that, it always reassures me that I am left-handed, in case I am ever doubtful about it. Five of the last eight U.S. presidents have been left-handed, so we're in good company, no matter which political party you're a fan of.
