Languedoc is a former province of France. Most of its territory lies in what is now the Occitanie region. My family and I love camping there and I figured I’d name a font after it! Languedoc is a beautiful and useful typeface: it is a handmade serif that is a bit rough around the edges, but very legible and fun to use. Because of its legibility, you could use it for texts, product packaging, cook books and whatever else you fancy. Comes with a royal amount of diacritics.

Tinkerer, TapedUp, and Rumpled are based on the template I used for several letterbat fonts—fonts made of wrenches and bolts, hammers, or paper clips. TapedUp can be thought of as a font made from masking tape, and Rumpled is the same design but the tape pieces are wavy. Tinkerer is the same design but with elements that resemble what might happen if one constructed letters from Tinker Toys. All are caps only, but some of the shapes on the lower-case keys differ from the corresponding shapes on the upper-case keys.

Some time ago, my kids asked me what kind of sweets I really liked. To be honest, I don’t actually like sweets at all - never have, never will. BUT… you can wake me up for chocolate and ice cream! Those are my guilty pleasures! Guilty Pleasure is a handmade font. I used China Ink and a brush to create all the glyphs. Guilty Pleasure is a very distinct display font. I recommend you use it for your ice cream or chocolate packaging… but that, of course, is entirely up to you!

Although the Art Deco movement is generally attributed to the 1930s and 1940s, a number of design influences were showing up during the late 1920s in what is referred to as the Art Nouveau period. The Dutch illustrator Anton Kurvers’ hand lettering on the front cover of the (1927) magazine “Het Vlaamsche Volstooneel” clearly shows the clean lines and Avant Garde geometrics that foreshadow Art Deco. This attractive pre-Deco lettering has been recreated digitally as Dutch Deco JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

I don't know what it is with me and peanuts. I simply love it! I like peanuts in all kinds of meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and even in desserts! But with an addiction like this, an overload of peanuts sometimes appear...and I guess that's where the name of this font comes from :) The Peanut Ache font is super clean, and super steady - use it for anything that needs a clean look! My kids asked me what killed the dinosaurs. I told them it probably was a meteor strike off the coast of Yucatán in Mexico. So, when I made this font, that little talk about the meteor hitting earth came to mind and a font name was born! Meteor strike is a slightly slanted brush font. It was made with my Chinese ink and a cheap brush (like most of my brush fonts). Meteor Strike comes with an attitude and a cheeky grin. It will sure leave a lasting impact on your designs!

This is a version of the Bergsland Fashion stylized sans serif font family that is very high-waisted and sleek with rounded terminals called Bergsland Round. Round is my favorite out of the group as it is looser and friendlier. This four-font set has a Regular and a Black plus the italics. The stroke is only slightly modulated. The letterforms are higher, with a more open aperture, and sprinkled with breaks to add light and sparkle. This an attempt at a readable sans serif for text. It has many OpenType features and 465 characters per font: Caps, lower case, small caps, old style figures, numerators, denominators, accents characters and so on.

Like many of Jim Parkinson's alphabets, Pueblo began as poster lettering. It shows a range of influences: turn-of-the-century sign painting, old Speedball lettering books, and a touch of art nouveau. While developing Pueblo, Parkinson debated whether to make the ends of the serifs rounded or square. Rounded looked more like the work of a Speedball lettering pen, but squared stroke endings made the letters more legible at small sizes. The finished design sports serifs that are just slightly rounded. According to Parkinson, the design feature is “enough to be noticed at large sizes, while going virtually unnoticed at smaller point sizes,” adding to the versatility of this distinctive typeface.
