Chorus is a collective effort to sing in harmony. Similarly, each letter is designed to reflect harmony when used together to form a letter, sentence or paragraph. Letters like B, D, P and R have curved stroke (instead of straight line) while joining vertical stem. Letter K, k, and R have similar disjoint point in middle and unique plus stylish curve at foot. Letter C and G has distinct horizontal cut at top as compared to other letters in typeface e.g. S. Letter like b, h, m, n, and p have consistent stroke joint style with vertical stem. Ink traps in various letters are designed such that they blend with the letter form at certain degree instead, getting emphasised. The family comes in various styles in weight and width.

I'm letting my inner nerd show through on this one: "Chaotic Neutral" is a Dungeons & Dragons thing. But the name applies to this font, too! Chaotic: This font has all sorts of built-in irregularities. Some variation in letter heights and letter widths, and the stroke widths are all over the place. It's all about the hand-written messiness. Neutral: And yet! I've smoothed the strokes a bit, and gone for as few nodes on each letter as I can (while still keeping a bit of roughness), so this font can be used for any kind of purpose -- not just print, but cutting out as well! Chaotic Neutral also comes with over 300 extended Latin characters for language support, and is fully PUA-encoded for easy access no matter what program you're using.

It's extended. Somewhat. It's got all the characters. There's a plus. It's fully kerned. That's awesome! And it is rubbed down to the nub. Whuh??? That means it's highly distressed, manually eroded on my work bench. Tortured further to open the wounds using my bitmap editor. Tweaked lovingly and built up to even higher standards of distortion in my vector program. The end result is a font called Sinder. I've even included an "ash" effect. Using the bracket or brace left gives you ashes from left to right as you type your text. Finish your text with ash terminals by typing the bracket or brace right. But be careful. This font is a heavy duty downloader. Make sure all your programs are up to the task, especially before you go converting to vectors.

BILLIARD was born from the numerous sketches André Toet did for the design of a series of postage stamps in 2011. It’s a capital monospaced and ‘fun’ alphabet, based on the classic billiard play with two white and one red ball. Actually snooker and pool were derived from this rather old sport! In Europe it used to be a sport played by elderly people, practiced in traditional bars, including the smell of beer and the at that time prevalent smell of cigarettes and cigars. These days billiard, snooker and pool are quite popular once again with young people. Palatino Sans Arabic is a collaboration between Lebanese designer Nadine Chahine and Prof. Hermann Zapf. The design is a low-contrast companion to the award winning Palatino Arabic and comes in both regular and bold weights. It is designed for use in print in both large and small sizes, and brings into Arabic the informal and friendly appearance of Palatino Sans. The counters are wide open to allow for better readability in small sizes as well as to maintain an open and friendly appearance. The font has 1091 glyphs and includes a large number of extra ligatures and stylistic alternates as well as the basic Latin part of Palatino Sans and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.

Baldufa is a charming typeface with strong personality, which looks very comfortable in text. There is a search to obtain complicated curves and detailed features, which gives the typeface a touch of beauty and elegance. However, this is also a self-conscious design that claims through the rounded serifs and irregular vertical stems appreciation for quirkiness and human imperfection. The letterforms are inspired by the slight distortions and idiosyncrasies that came with old printing methods. It has distinct, features such as rounded serifs, irregular vertical streams, ink traps and extremely thin junctions. In the Italic, serifs have been removed to enhance movement and expressivity. These experiments in form have not come at the cost of legibility: The typeface remains suitable for both small and display text. Baldufa Cyrillic Latin contains Cyrillic Extended and Latin.

Lagos was created because of the lack of African-inspired fonts that are truly modern without being partly art-deco in origin. I wanted to make a vigorous, sharp-edged font that reflects the energy and dynamism of modern Africa. The lines of the font combine the sharp angularity of African rocks and mountains with the smooth fluidity of Africa's snake-black rivers. The font is supplied in two styles, Lagos Regular and Lagos Light. Lagos Light is not a simple, mechanical modification of Lagos Regular. The outlines and proportions have been subtly modified to accommodate the lighter weight. Lagos contains a full 256 character set (upper and lower case, punctuation, diacritical characters, special symbols and numerals), in which all characters have been fully kerned and letter-spaced.

Favarotta was a small settlement on the medieval times. in the Gulf of Castellammare near Palermo, Sicily. Favarotta font is inspired on the style of writing based on Carolingian models, which continued to be used for handwritten liturgical works in Italy. The style show close affinities with the Italian printed books of the period. It combines Roman cursive writing ideas with some of the Celtic innovations in insular writing, including four guide lines, with strokes that flow smoothly from the ascending and descending. Favarotta font family contain five weigh and its corresponding italics. The Italic style are clearly legible and attractively set out, without obvious idiosyncratic tendencies. I became interested in designing Bodoni Classic because of a lazy graphic designer at Jacques Damase publishing house. He had to change a single letter on a bookcover about J. B. BODONI. The French call him Jean Baptiste instead of Giambattista! And that unknown graphic designer just took any old “J” from some newly cut Bodoni. All the new Bodoni cuts have square serifs, whereas the originals had rounded serifs and slightly concave feet. The single letter “J” with the squared off serif was for me like a road sign to start redesigning the entire Bodoni family. That’s exactly what I started in 1993 and a dozen years later I am finished. Okay, I am still adding new Bodoni Classics, but those are my personal additions. Yours very retro, Gert Wiescher

Legan, created by PeGGO Fonts, is a typeface with a large number of glyphs. The uppercase letters follow the classical Trajan pattern. It is designed with several geometrical proportions such as root five, divine proportion (Golden Ratio), regular square, and others, just like the Greek Trajan letters used on Trajan’s Column. The major innovation is a lowercase that is designed in accordance with the same Trajan rules. My concern for the global community is reflected by the large number of diacritics I have provided, first on the basic alphabet, then on extended latin languages, as well as ones for Cyrillic and Greek. Because it is OpenType, there are various setup possibilities including traditional ligatures, as well as various alternates. Altogether you will find this a very playful, fashionable, and elegant typeface.

This family is a compilation created from a Garamond set in use in Paris circa 1651, but similar to those, eroded and tired, that were in use during centuries to print cheap publications, as well as in Europe than in America, and from a large choice of printed symbols—all specially redrawn—used for alchemical, pharmaceutical and astrological books, covering 1550 to late 1800s period. Each alphabet is doubled by a slightly different one, and a special OTF encoding allows to give an irregular effect with never the same twin letters in a single word. The Normal style is enriched by small caps, and the Italic style by Swashes. A lot of symbols, too, are given twice with differences. This font may be used with our calendar specialized 1689 Almanach.

Carousel is a fat faces display type designed by Gary Gillot in 1966. Fat faces were offshoots of the modern, or Didone, typefaces that were de rigueur during the early 1800s. These fat faces were among the first typefaces to be used solely for advertising purposes. Naturally, they were always used in larger point sizes, in display functions. Carousel could be called an optimization of these old advertising typefaces. With high x-heights, ultra contrast between thick and thin strokes, and perfectly engineered drawing techniques, Carousel is a highly crafted typeface. Give it a spin in your next advertising campaign! Cunaeus is intended primarily for use in running text. It brings together the types of two renowned sixteenth-century punchcutters: the roman is an interpretation of a pica font cut by Ameet Tavernier (c.1522–1570), and the italic that of a pica font of Robert Granjon (1513–1589/90). Granjon’s italics have inspired a number of revivals in the past, but usually of his more slanted styles; the present digitization features the lesser slant of his so-called ‘droit’ style typical of the mid 1560s. Cunaeus provides wide support for west, central, and east European languages that use the roman alphabet. Among its OpenType features are ligatures, small caps, several sets of numerals, contextual alternates, intelligent implementation of long ‘s’, and fractions. Cruickshank is a decorative typeface from the late Victorian period. The upper case includes several letters with swash strokes, extending well below the baseline, as found in the original design. Alternatives to the swash caps are provided. The lower case contains small caps of simpler design. The face was designed by William W. Jackson and released by MacKellar, Smiths and Jordan Type Foundry of Samson Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1886. MS&J was founded originally as Binny & Ronaldson in 1796 and later known as The Johnson Type Foundry. Cruickshank has a strong late Victorian flavor without the extravagance of so many fonts of the period. In its simplicity and clarity, it may be seen as a precursor to the Art Nouveau style that would develop a decade later.

The multi award-winning Seria (1996) is Martin Majoor’s second comprehensive typeface family and the successor to his popular text letter Scala. Seria explores the proportions of classical text typefaces. Its degree of sophistication is perfect to be used for poetry and other refined literature, its eye-catching details however makes Seria also suitable as a display typeface. The first sketches for Seria emerged in the summer of 1996 on the train from Berlin to Warsaw, to be precise, on July 25 – the date Majoor noted on the napkins of the train’s on-board restaurant, which he used for lack of suitable drawing paper. The italics are almost upright which contributes much to Seria’s delicately proportioned appearance. The Seria family consists of Seria Serif and Seria Sans. Combining the two creates countless possibilities of expression.

Tusker Grotesk is a headline typeface designed for robust and high-impact use. The initial inspiration for Tusker came from postwar typefaces like Haettenschweiler, Impact and Helvetica Inserat which use very high x-heights. Other influences in the condensed end of the Tusker family are old grotesques like Folio Extra Condensed and Stephenson Blake Elongated Sans No.1 with their flat terminals and closed-up apertures. Then as the widths in Tusker grow, the lettering takes some more inspiration from gothic style sans such as Inland Type's Title Gothic No.8, while maintaining the optical weight established in the narrow end of the family. Each width set is duplexed, stackable and is ideal for headlines, logos and bold attention-grabbing editorial design. Tusker has extended latin coverage ideal for western, central and eastern European languages.
