Malnor Sans is a normal sans serif family of 18 fonts. With modern style or neo-grotesque, Malnor sans has balanced proportions in every letter, and it's clean, minimal and cool. There are several alternative letters that can be used in both upright and oblique styles. Single story 'a' can give a more geometric impression, even though it is not purely geometric. There is also an alternative double story 'a' with a tail, a double story 'g' and an alternative 'l' that can be applied together via the 'salt' or 'stylistic sets' features for a slightly warmer feel. Designed by Werner Schneider and Helmut Ness, the Vialog® 1450 typeface family has been drawn within the standards of the German DIN 1450 regulations. The typefaces conform to the DIN specifications for proportion and line thickness and also contain characters designed in accordance with its requirements. These include characters that can be easily confused, such as uppercase I and lowercase l, and the uppercase O and figure 0, with the corresponding accentuating graphemes and ligatures. In addition, letter pairs that can readily seem to merge together under less than ideal reading environments have also been redesigned. Characters like the g, J and R have also been redrawn to be more legible. Normal glyphs are available as alternatives.

The concept of Biscotti rised from a personal research into a system of styles that we commonly consider “vintage”. One above all, the Victorian typography that has been rediscovered and widely re-studied during the 70s. Today, thanks to the technology innovation in digital typography fields, Biscotti is certainly an interesting subject which expresses an appassionate and nostalgic homage to a vintage font, seen from the perspective of a technical inspiration. Biscotti is composed of two styles: the “default” and the alternative one. The first is of course more conservative and formal, while the alternative formally chooses a change of the diagonal lines into curves, so it creates a much more friendlier reading. Biscotti consists of 4 styles that can be combined by layers in order to form different ways of reading. This renewed effect increases exponentially the potential use range of this typography. Biscotti has 517 characters; and are composed for 220 latin languages.

Although inspired by the engraved lettering on eighteenth-century English trade-cards, ITC Vineyard has unusual characteristics of its own. The type retains some quality of copperplate scripts, but the differentiation between thicks and hairlines is not very sharp. There are a few cursive forms, but most of the letters are romanized: they are almost upright and not joining. Occasional flourishes are casually interpreted from various sources such as the lettering on trade-cards and writing masters' copybooks. “I think it is a new kind of 'copperplate script' which is not too formal and easier to read,” claims designer Akira Kobayshi. Irregularities are apparent in the angle of caps and numerals, but the face's quirkiness gives a type page some friendliness rather than cold brilliancy. ITC Vineyard is designed in two weights: regular and bold. Each variation includes several extra characters such as an alternative lowercase 'd' with a long arm, a T-h ligature, swelled rules, and a pair of flourishes. Swash caps are available for both weights. The swash caps variation also includes oldstyle figures. Kobayashi notes: “There are a few swash-cap lowercase combinations that collide or look awkward. In 1925, at the request of Barnhart Brothers & Spindler, the foundry he worked for, Oswald Bruce Cooper designed a wide selection of "screamers", oversized exclamation points used to grab attention in display advertising. The foundry rushed the screamers into production, much to Cooper's dismay. Cooper was disappointed with the final form of the screamers– they were designed in assorted weights to match the assorted Cooper series of typefaces, as well as in a variety of other formal solutions- squaredoff, incised, wavy, Tuscan, and rounded. Cooper's working design methodology was to re-draw his projects a number of times in order to refine the formal results. However the screamer project was hastily cut by the head of BB&S's matrix engraving room in fourteen sizes from the initial sketches, causing Cooper to fire off a fiery missive stating, "Everything I draw is bum the first half-dozen times I draw it; the trouble with these is that I drew them only once!" This typeface is the result of researching Cooper's original drawings and series of engraved proofs for the screamers, as well as the original Screamer type specimen. Cooper Screamers have never been available before in digital format.

Fibra One looks like a “soft” version of the Fibra font, but it is actually more than that—the second part of its name suggests that it is a reinterpretation of the original typeface. While this new version maintains the overall structure of Fibra and influence of the Avant Garde font, its shapes are different from those found in its predecessor—Fibra One features both soft corners and smooth transition between curved and straight sections. This gives the font a more dynamic and playful personality. Fibra One keeps the original contrast between curves and straight lines in glyphs such as ’n’ and ‘h’ (not found in rounded glyphs such as ‘a’ and ‘d’); details of display characters (e.g. three upper terminals in ‘W’ and projection off the stem in ‘A’); and exaggerated terminal in ‘R’. All these features give Fibra One a strong personality—a typeface that ‘gives you the chills’. Fibra One was specially designed for display use. The font has a very generous x-height that allows for use in corporate text, thanks to its good readability. Fibra One comes with 2 subfamilies—a more ’normal’ Basic family, with a smaller amount of stylistic features, for use in subheadings or any other type of text that requires formality, and an Alt family that shows off the true potential of the font, making it the perfect choice for magazine headlines, posters and logotypes.

19th Century Retro is a re-design of an official German font style (called ‘Fraktur’) which was used in official documents in the 19th and early 20th century. There is an alternative small letter ‘s’ which you generate by typing the @ sign. This alternative letter was the original small letter s which was printed in the middle and at the beginning of a word originally (for example in the words ‘slightly’ and ‘best’). However, if the s was at the end, the normal small letter s was used (for example in the words ‘it's’ and ‘columns’). For readability reasons I decided to put the normal small letter s onto the s-key on your keyboard.

It represents the period in which everyone has their face behind the latest mobile phone screen or interactive games console. Kaat is here to stay and to evolve. Everyone wants to try to be that little bit different, but essentially we are all the same, with the same inherent needs, just like babies or children. Merengue Script is the second typeface designed by Panco, once again together with Ale Paul, who supervised the whole development. In this opportunity, the process of shape research and the systematization of signs led him to dive into new waters. The objective was to generate a system of signs in which the construction of such was not directly bound to traditional calligraphy, nor to texts typography. Instead, the point was to create signs inspired in “Brush pen” calligraphy but with their main features drawn or literally illustrated. Malden Sans is a mischievous grotesque sans serif with charming details that gives designers a solid typographic voice. It was created by Michele Patanè with regular and condensed widths, as a utilitarian typeface family for print and digital environments. It was originally designed as part of a type system for cinema magazines, and embodies the devil-may care attitude of the silver screen. Designer Michele Patanè looked back to an earlier era of typography to create the typeface, embracing unusual details, rather than ironing them out. “There is a very naive way of using typography in the 30s and 40s, something not as clean as how it’s used in the late 50s and 60s when everything passed through a rationalisation of the typographic palette,” he explains. “In film magazines you can still see a bit of roughness, and I like that.” This is a design that’s desperate to be used in editorial environments, and has been created to stand up to lower quality paper. It would be equally at home on posters, packaging, and even in digital environments where designers are looking for something more expressive than another geometric sans serif. Malden Sans includes a Normal and Condensed range, with 7 weights in the normal and 6 in the Condensed, both including italics.

The long awaited and much requested revival of Robert Hunter Middleton's very popular classic is finally here. Mayfair Cursive was an instant hit for Middleton in 1932, and it went on being used widely until late into the 1970s, in spite of it never having crossed over to film type technology. Like a few of its contemporary designs, most notably the work of Lucien Bernhard, Mayfair is a formal script that is somewhat based on traditional italic forms with swash uppercase, but also employs subsidiary hairline strokes in some of its lowercase as an emphasis to the script's cursive traits. Why these gorgeous letters never made the leap into photo typesetting is a mystery to us. But here they are now in digital form, almost three quarters of a century since they first saw the light in metal. Mayfair was redrawn from original 48 pt specimen. It also underwent a major expansion of character set. Plenty of swash characters and ligatures were added. An alternate set of lowercase was also made, in order to give the user a choice between connected and disconnected variations of the same elegant script. Mayfair ships in all popular font formats. While the Postscript Type 1 and True Type versions come in two fonts (Mayfair and Mayfair Alt), the OpenType version is a single font containing all the extra characters in conveniently programmed features that are easily accessible by OpenType-supporting software applications. We are quite sure today's graphic designers will be appreciative of having access to the face that all but defined menus, romance covers, wine and liquor labels and chocolate boxes for almost two 20th century generations.

SketchCaslon Italic is a hand-rendered display typeface with its formal base in the structure of the types of William Caslon.

Peleguer typeface is the reinterpretation of the characters that the valencias goldsmiths Peleguer Manuel, father and son had opened and merged between 1779 and 1783 on behalf of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Land of Valencia “in order to create a Factory letters. With only a few cuts, the shapes remain dark and simple. With more cuts, the shapes become lighter and more defined, resulting in a dynamic type family not stuck within one specific category. The Black and medium weights began as one approach before separating into display and text categories. The four text weights were created through pendulum swings in design direction that experimented with contrast, angles, tangent redirections, and the amount of anomalies allowed. The text weights are vocal when set larger than ten points and subtle at smaller sizes. The tech-heavy Incised display style came last, employing a surprising range of trigonometric functions to make it behave exactly as desired. Its look can result in something distinctive and emotional or completely over-the-top. Most normal typefaces change only in thickness; Rezak changes in intention, highlighting the relationship between dark and light, presence and absence, what’s removed and what remains. Rezak’s Black and Incised display styles are like a shaft of light in reverse and are perfect in situations of impact: websites, headlines and large text, gaming, call-outs, posters, and packaging. The tone works for something from youthful or craft-oriented to organic and natural products. Try these two in logotypes, complex print layering, branding, and words-as-pattern for greater experimentation. The text styles are bold, energetic, well informed, and round out the family with four weights (Regular, Semibold, Bold, Extrabold) and matching italics for a family grand total of ten. A further benefit is that this family is not sequestered within one specific genre or script, so it can be easily interpreted for other scripts, such as its current Latin and extended Cyrillic which supports such neglected languages as Abkhaz, Itelmen, and Koryak. CyberNippon is a unique latin script font that references Japanese and Cyberpunk motifs. Literal translation of the name "Cyber ​​Japan" This typeface took many months to complete and was inspired by the style and mood of cyberpunk, for whom Japanese culture is very close. Since the Japanese are inherent in perfectionism, while working on this font, I brought everything to perfection. The result of all the work was, in my opinion, a font that was perfectly verified and worked out for many hours. The main motives that are visible in this work are the modern interpretation of the classic Japanese hieroglyphic systems - hiragana and katakana. Originally, the font was completely handwritten using a calligraphic pen, and then converted to digital format.

The inspiration source for Distinto Borders are the Black & White and Running Borders from the 1906 Abridged Keystone Type Foundry Specimen Book. Nine Black & White Borders and Thirteen Running Borders are compiled within this font, all of which can be formatted in various manners to allow maximum versatility. While we've adjusted the metrics in this font, your program of choice may override and use their own settings.
